I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. Overall it was a great place to stay. Yoshi always got back whenever I had questions and the home itself was great. For the amount of beds and location close to two train stations you can’t beat the price 10/10.

Koji and Nami went above and beyond to accommodate us - especially as I had a bad knee, they were very flexible with making sure I was okay. They had great recommendations of where to eat and shop and were extremely responsive. The house was spotless and very comfortable in a convenient location. if i come back to tokyo, i will definitely stay here. Koji and Nami are sincere, genuine, and kind people. The perfect hosts.

The K-Family Koji were probably the best AirBnB hosts we’ve ever had. Super clear instructions for everything. Extremely friendly and accessible. The place itself was fantastic. Had everything we needed for a family of six and was very comfortable.

Great cozy little home. Lots of space for our family of 4. The location was great. Close to a playground and 7-11. Felt safe and in the middle of a local established neighbourhood instead of a tourist hot spot. Would return to this cute little house again

Very cost-effective apartment, very clean, everything is available, next to a shopping mall, supermarket and restaurant, very convenient

The location is closed to the station, just few stops away from Tokyo station. There are lots of places to eat nearby as well as convenient stores. Mieca was really helpful and quick response to your needs. It is a cosy place for two people and more comfortable for one person.

Had an amazing stay with Masa. Wanted something a little farther from the main city for my trip next to a train and this location was perfect. Very nice and peaceful and Masa was very responsive as a host. Highly recommend thank you!!!

If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would. They were incredibly friendly and provided us so much free food. They were also super accommodating and helped us find their airbnb when we were lost on the first day and escorted us personally there. They are the friendliest people!

I would recommend this place and would stay here again if I have the chance. Harumi was very responsive and met me in person for check-in. She has taken care of everything and the place was very nice and clean and the view of the river is amazing!

I want to stay again next time! It was so spacious that my friend and I could both open our luggage! There were other reviews that said it felt old, but this was also an antique charm and the cleanliness was good, so it wasn't a problem at all! My husband and I, along with our 9 year old son, traveled to Japan for the first time and had the best stay at Andy’s inn. He was very responsive, the place was not huge but was big enough to fit our needs. The beds were comfortable, clean, there was heating and air conditioning, microwave and fridge. There is a washer but no dryer, which wasn’t a problem bc we just hung our clothes outside the patio to dry. The train station and 7-11 is only a couple minutes away. We walked to Shinjuku within 20 minutes. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay near the action but still have peace and quiet!

amazing place to stay

Location was great! We can walk to all Ueno attractions and take train to practically anywhere in Japan from the nearby Ueno station. Apartment was cozy enough for two persons. We didn't need to cook at all, given the many food choices within walking distance. The large supermarket (within 10 min) offers a large variety of takeaway food, fruits and bakes at reasonable prices. Would stay again if we are back in Ueno!

The host has a very good service attitude 👍 The room is clean, bright and airy Although it is a bit far from the station, there are bicycles nearby for use Ueno Station is just around the corner. Very cozy experience ~🥰

Hatago Ojima’s space was great! Very clean and cute. The WiFi was a bit spotty when I first arrived, but it was addressed fairly quickly. It is about a 5-7 minute walk from the subway station so it is very easy to get around. I would definitely stay again.
