Hotel holiday rentals in Udawalawa

Wir hatten eine Nacht in der Unterkunft gebucht und die Begrüßung war super lieb und freundlich. Wir wurden mit einem leckeren Bananen Smoothie empfangen. Man muss jedoch genau auf seiner Karten App schauen. Es kann passieren das man über Googl-Maps hinter das Haus geleitet wird. Jedoch muss man am besten einfach auf der Hauptstraße bleiben und dann findet man es schnell.

Indika was the perfect host. The night before our arrival he called us to make sure we were all set. During our stay he went out of his way to drive us to the Sinharaja and back (a 3hr round trip) for a small fee, and waited for us whilst we completed our hike. The hotel is immaculately clean and surrounded by lush green mountains and the chef makes great food. We were most surprised on the morning of check-out, that Indika had arranged for our hiking boots to be cleaned and rid of dead leeches (from the hike the day before). It was certainly above and beyond all expectations.

Hands down the best place we have stayed in over our month we spent in Sri Lanka. Sadly, we stayed only one night but will gladly recommend this place for longer stays! The place is amazing, with quiet surroundings, immersed in jungle. Room is equipped with everything you need, and sparkling clean. The staff is very kind, attentive, and always helpful. The host himself cared for us very much, and is a true expert in running a hospitality business. Highly recommended!

Hotel très bien situé par rapport au park pour un safari le lendemain matin. L'hôtel s'est occupé de tout pour le safari et cela nous a coûté 30000 roupies tout compris avec un chauffeur extraordinaire qui nous a bien tout expliqué (oiseaux,mangoes,biches,éléphant etc) Comme nous devions faire un safari de 6h à 9h am et que nous n'avions vu qu'un éléphant il a prolongé pendant 1h30 supplémentaire pour enfin voir une famille de 6 éléphants

Fantastic base for the safaris. They will sort you out with a jeep and everything you need. Even pack your breakfast so you can eat it in the car. Would recommend A+++

Alles hat super geklappt. Das Zimmer war sehr schön & sauber. Ashvini organisierte für uns eine Morgensafari, es war toll! Ich würde die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

It was an amazing stay. Food was really delicious and hospitality was excellent! I would recommend Le Green to any one local and overseas without any hesitation...

We hadden een geweldig verblijf bij Aliweta. Hij regelde last minute een geweldige Safari met een erg goede gids en een heerlijk ontbijt om in het park op te eten. Het verblijf ligt vlak bij de ingang van het park, maar in de buurt kan je ook fantastisch wandelen en zijn nog veel vogels te zien. Ook het uitzicht van de kamer over de suikerrietvelden was mooi. Hij regelde ook vervoer naar Ella voor een zeer goede prijs en kon een autostoel voorzien voor ons zoontje van 1 jaar. We kunnen het verblijf alleen maar aanraden!

The staff were so accommodating. Perfect experience in a beautiful setting. Everything was booked for us and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful time at the National Park

Nice place to experience rural Srilanka . No tourists . Just locals who welcomed us with open arms . Remote location , but lovely to see the real Srilanka . Hosts went out of their way to help us and look after us and even gave us a private cooking demonstration which was wonderful . Thanks !

Our stay at Lakmal's place in Udawalawe was wonderful. The place is strategically located very near Udawalawe National Park. The breakfast that was prepared by Sajiwa and his wife, Karuma (I hope I get her name right) was excellent! Wonderful and yummy Sri Lankan cuisine. Sajiwa and Karuma were also very helpful and supportive to our needs. They were very attentive but still giving us enough privacy and independence. The room was sparkling clean and tastefully designed, with unique safari touch to the decor. We really recommend Lakmal's place for anyone visiting Udawalawe. Stuti Sajiwa and Karuma! Stuti Lakmal!

Man sollte die Safari übers Hotel buchen. Dann hieß es es sei voll in der safari-was nicht der Wahrheit entsprach. So sind wir auf eigene Faust in den Nationalpark, das würde ich jedem empfehlen.

Fijn verblijf gehad. ruime, schone kamer en heerlijke bedden. Aan de overkant stonden af en toe de olifanten aan het hek. Lekker zwembadje en mooie safari in de ochtend.

The stay was really great and the accommodation was stunning. The location is perfect for the safari and they were happy to help organise and answer any questions we had. There isn't a lot to do in the immediate area so the resort was lovely to chill and relax in around other activities. They were also helpful in providing a tuktuk to a nearby restaurant and friendly throughout our stay - would recommend!
