Holiday rentals with lake access in Tysvær

The accommodation was even more beautiful than in the pictures and we were warmly welcomed. Odd Bjarne is very friendly and accommodating, we got along very well and got many tips for activities and hikes. The contact was uncomplicated and he responded quickly when we had questions. It was a wonderful and relaxing holiday. We will be happy to come back!

We had a great time in the cabin of Heidi and Tor Arne. It is beautifully located and has a great hiking trail next to it. The cabin is nicely decorated and absolutely spotless. The communication was very friendly and Heidi's recommendations for activities in the neighborhood were great. We can highly recommend this cabin.

We had a wonderful week in Skjold. The view from the living room is truly unique. The accommodation is even better than it looks in the pictures.

What a surprisingly beautiful place this was. We were 8 ladies of different ages and all had a great time. Here we could cook good food in a well-equipped kitchen, relax in front of the view window and everyone had plenty of space at the dining table. Røvær showed its best side - a good sauna at Kulturhotellet, which also had a fantastic seafood buffet on Saturday night. The eminent convenience store that was self-service was well-equipped and seriously only 2 minutes away. No, we didn't miss anything here.

A cozy apartment to feel good, whether you stay one day or several days, that doesn't matter. You feel comfortable and can reach a lot on foot (restaurants, shopping, etc.) Friendly hosts with good advice and information. We would come back.

We had a fantastic stay at Sigval! The flat was clean, cosy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great, quiet and at the same time close to everything we wanted to see and do. Sigval was an incredibly nice and helpful host – always available if we had questions, and gave us good tips for the local area. We really enjoyed our stay with Anders and Torhild. The apartment is fully equipped, looks beautiful and has a beautiful location. Close to a bay where you can swim, paddle, hike and sail. Anders and Torhild were very friendly. Really a place to go back to again. And then for a longer period.

Our third stay in this house in Haugesund was truly memorable. The perfect blend of peace, nature, and family-friendly activities made it an ideal place for our children. They loved playing in the spacious garden, and we all enjoyed kayaking, fishing and boating in the beautiful surroundings. The location also offered the convenience of being just 15 minutes from the city, which allowed us to explore Haugesund and visit family with ease. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful—always available and genuinely caring, which made us feel right at home. Communication was smooth, and everything was well-prepared upon arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better balance between relaxation, outdoor adventure, and accessibility. Highly recommended for families looking for a restful yet active getaway.

The house is even more beautiful and larger than you could see in the pictures. We did not use the boathouse, but it offers a good opportunity to spend time on the water in any weather. The hosts are very nice, we were greeted directly and shown the accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lise’s place exceeded our expectations. In the listing she notes that the upstairs is not yet fully renovated. That is true but it is mostly minor cosmetic things. The bed was very comfortable. We slept great. Everything but the beds is downstairs on the ground floor. The downstairs which has mostly been renovated is spacious and very comfortable. Having the ability to store our bike in the garage was a nice plus. The area around the house is breathtakingly beautiful. Don’t miss the walk to and through The Fairytale Forest (Eventyrskogen) - a truly unique Norwegian experience.

Initially, upon arrival, it smelled a bit musty/damp. The property may not have been used for a longer period of time. After a little ventilation, the smell was gone and we had a wonderful stay. Nice view over the water. Great beds and wonderful shower. Beautiful, quiet environment for visiting the Preikestolen (1 hour drive). Beautiful (somewhat challenging) walk starts close to home. Fast and fine communication with the host who was also flexible with check-out. Thank you Inger Elise for the nice communication and the attention at the welcome.

The stay at John's house was great. I was there with my family and we enjoyed the big house in nature. John and his wife are very friendly and kind. They even brought us fresh fruits from their garden. :)
