Our stay at Denise’s place was amazing! The house was beautiful, spacious, and located in a lovely little town. It fit all six of us adults comfortably, and we had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped—we even had a barbecue and were pleasantly surprised that everything we needed for it was available. Denise was very kind and always quick to respond to any questions we had. We felt very welcomed and would love to come back again!

A dream weekend! This home was perfect, and although we went for a short break for a wedding, we hope to come back because it was the PERFECT space. Denise and Mike, thank you again for your 24/7 availability, communication and most importantly, your wonderful home. One thing to note, there are downstairs neighbours, so important to be mindful and avoid bringing speakers, having TV loud or having passionate debates at 1am etc. Thank you so much for hosting us, and as past Airbnb hosts ourselves, you’ve set the bar! The place was beautiful, well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and offered stunning views. Emily was a thoughtful host—she had arranged firewood for the fire pit and stocked the kitchen with a great selection of coffee and other essentials. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful and cozy getaway!

This was our 3rd time staying at The Vine House. We love the location and the layout of the house itself. It’s so much fun to cook a big meal for a group, and 4 bedrooms means everyone gets their own space. The beds are extremely comfy. Can’t recommend it enough!

We just spent 5 nights at the postmaster's house and we had a wonderful time. Communication with Trevor was easy and everything was as described. The location is fantastic for a vacation, even with our 2 year old son. The environment around the house and the view from the backyard is very calming. We would, without hesitation, stay there again!!!

We didn't have the chance to fully enjoy the old charm of the house since we were at a ultimate frisbee tournament all weekend. With 4 beds and 2 bathrooms, it fulfilled our needs. Walkable to pier restaurants, main street and in close driving proximity of the train station.

Lisa and Heather really thought of everything at Ray’s Bay Cottage! The amenities are unmatched and the view is absolutely serene. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone for a peaceful getaway.

We stayed at the Marmora Retreat this past weekend with 16 girls and could not have had a better time! The property is beautiful, including a large deck with tons of space to play games and chill in the nice weather. Despite it raining for half of our weekend, the house's layout provided a lot of space for us to play games, relax, cook, and enjoy each other's company. The beds were super comfortable, and we all departed feeling refreshed after a weekend full of laughs. We are already talking about returning for another weekend during the summer to take advantage of the pool! We highly recommend the Marmora Retreat, and thank you so much, Brendan, for providing a space for all of us to get together comfortably!

Jay was so responsive to us and all of our needs. His uniquely designed home was a perfect back drop for celebrating my weekend get an away! We had a wonderful stay at Susan & Craig’s cottage by Rice Lake! The place was peaceful, clean, and beautifully located—perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was getting early access to their lovely pool, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made our trip even more enjoyable. Susan & Craig were kind and responsive hosts, and their attention to detail really showed. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to visit again!

Angela's place is great for a group getaway, she was helpful and easy to communicate with.

We stayed at the North COTTAGE for a ladies work trip to Peterborough. Everything was as listed, and this was one of the cleanest Airbnbs I have stayed in! We really loved the coffee bar, and the morning view was beautiful. The hot tub and pool were very clean and great to use after a long day of training. Thanks for a pleasant stay, Mike!

We have stayed at Bertrand’s place a couple of times now and highly recommend this. It is a lovely home and very private. Bertrand is the perfect host…very helpful and responds quickly all the time.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Michele’s beautiful home! The house itself was great; clean and spacious with a fully stocked kitchen. The backyard was extremely peaceful and nice, with a large pool, patio, hot tub and barbecue for us to use. I’d highly recommend staying here for anyone looking in the area!

4 cousins in our late 50's for a 3 night stay. We have been doing this annually for 30+ years. I can honestly say this has been one of the all-time best stays. The manual in the cottage highlights all of the things to visit & do within 30 minutes. Tweed & Madoc may not have many options for roadhouse & higher-end restaurants but Belleville is a quick 30 minute drive with tons of options. That didn't matter to us as we bought groceries & enjoyed salads, meats & chacuterie because we didn't want to leave the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen is fully equipped whether you do gourmet or quick meals. The kitchen table was perfect to gather around for meals, games and gabbing. The living room & outdoor living space were cozy, comfy & beautifully decorated. The entire house decor was stunning. Minimal & gorgeous. The outdoor & indoor fireplaces add to the coziness. The outdoor ping pong table, inflatable boat and kayaks looked brand new. Running out of space; so much more to say...dang 🙂

What a special location to get away from the noise of the city without being too far away. Charming set up, and had everything you need.

We had an unforgettable stay at Oliver and Mary Anne’s beautiful cottage! The location is unbeatable—right by a private beach with stunning views that you never get tired of. Waking up to the sound of the water and sipping coffee with that view was pure bliss. There was so much to do! We spent our days kayaking and canoeing on the calm water, swimming off the private beach, and lounging in the sun. In the evenings, we’d gather around the fire pit for s’mores and stories under the stars, and then unwind in the hot tub—absolute perfection. The cottage itself is gorgeous, super clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. You can tell Oliver and Mary Anne have put a lot of care into making this a true home away from home. Every little detail—from the cozy interiors to the outdoor setup—was just right. This place is a gem, whether you're looking for relaxation or adventure. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend it to anyone!
