What a place and what a view! A great time was had by our family of 7 in this amazing place. We had lots of great communication from the host on our stay. It was a place that we shared great meals with the well stocked kitchen and grill, played games and laughed around the amazing north woods dining table, and we were able to get to all the parks and attractions that we wanted with the convenient location on Hwy 61. Thanks so much for a great place to stay...we've already recommended you to a number of friends :)

we had a great stay, there were a few mechanical issues that were solved right away for us. my only real issue was the price was a bit high, especially compared to some nearby rentals, however it is a beautiful place to stay.

The place was easy to find and plenty of space for our family to enjoy Northern MN. It isn't too far from the local stores. It was an easy location that is accessible if you want to explore Duluth, Silver Bay, Lusten and Grand Marais. Thank you.

Roomy and very clean, comfortable. The decks were a big plus, as the weather was better than expected. Well-stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Host was readily available to answer questions. Great location for hiking the shore, waterfalls, and rivers at nearby state parks. Grand Marais was just 20 minutes north; Coho Cafe always great (Salmon Chowder!); dining at Blue Fin Bay was easy, but mixed reviews on our meals.

Our getaway was absolutely ideal! With ample space for all seven of us, we found the perfect balance of comfort and fun. The two little ones had plenty of room to play indoors with the chilly weather outside. The kitchen was a dream, equipped with everything we needed to whip up delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. We truly can’t express how perfectly this place catered to all our needs—it made our trip unforgettable!

Located across from a school with a playground. The main floor has three rooms, two of them are on the medium large side the third is smaller (perfect for kids room). We had family members with kids visit us and the small room was great for nap time. The basement has a lot of free space, a bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. The kitchen had a good variety of dishes and utensils. Fridge was equipped with condiments and freezer had some food too. The rooms were clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay at this place!

Great place and great location! The outside deck was a beautiful place to hang out. Tons of walking paths and easy to get around. Would stay again.

We stayed here to run Grandma's Marathon and out was the perfect space to relax before and after. It was super easy to get into Duluth for the 5k and we were so close to the shuttle to get to the start line. We didn't have our kids with us this trip, but we have 3 and this place made us wish we had brought them along! It seems very kid friendly and had everything you might need to stay with little ones. There were lots of good restaurants and a great brewery just minutes away by car. The space itself was very comfortable and felt just like home.

This place is perfect. The views are serene. The house is beautiful & clean. If you have a chance to stay here, do it! Our family loved it. Gina was a wonderful host w/local recommendations when you arrive. Easy clear instructions for check-in & check-out. One thing to note for others is it is near train tracks, which we loved! Loved the stock of board games & yard games. Awesome airbnb. We will definitely be back!

I had to travel for a work trip and was kinda over the hotel life. Debbie’s place was a perfect retreat. We couldn’t quite crack the sleep number codes on the bed, but other than that we had a blast. Access to the St. Louis River allowed us to take our maiden voyage with our new inflatable kayaks. The love seat and fireplace were perfect and the vast collection of DVD’s kept us busy during the rain and an uninvited head cold. The chickens and dogs were an added bonus. The kitchen was very well stocked. We only ate out twice! It was very vacation like for a work trip. Debbie and her hubby were very friendly and helpful when we needed them. I will definitely stay again when I’m in the area for multiple nights. Highly recommended!

Nikki and michael’s place was the perfect home away from home for our marathon weekend trip in Duluth. The kids enjoyed the trails, river, playground and all the activities. The house is equipped with everything we needed to have a fun, cozy, peaceful time away from the hustle and bustle that is grandma’s marathon. Nicole was beyond helpful, quick to respond with recommendations and went above and beyond to help us feel welcomed at their place.

What a gem! So well furnished. Hosts are great. We loved it here. It was not noisy at all and we were next to railroad tracks and a brewery.

Mark and Jamie's space was perfect for our weekend getaway. The house provided plenty of space for us to spread out and relax after exploring the area. We appreciated the attention to details with instructions for amenity usage and overall cleanliness of the entire house. Everything was updated beautifully. Would absolutely rebook!

Erik's place was awesome! Tucked just outside of Grand Marais it was a perfect location that was quiet but also close to town. The house was beautiful. We enjoyed the wood-fire sauna and outdoor fire pit. The sound system in the living room was also a plus for watching TV and jamming to some tunes. Overall, Erik has a great place that I would highly recommend for your next visit to the North Shore!

We arrived at the house in sub zero temperatures and were very happy to be inside the house with the wonderful radiant heated floors. Warm and cozy! Comfortable beds and warm blankets made for restful nights. The view of the bay is beautiful. Moon rising over the horizon reflected on the ice . We heard Great Horned Owls hooting in the distance. Next visit we hope to come in the summer or fall to walk around more and see the lake. Thanks again!

Jenny's home was just lovely and my only regret was that we'd only booked for two nights. There are a lot of nice touches to make guests feel at home. The house feels fairly secluded since it's set back from the road and is a less than 10 minute drive from downtown Grand Marais. We had a great time and would love to come back.

This was our second time at Deidra’s Tofte home, and if possible - it was even more magical than our first time. Not only is she an amazing host - we basically planned our itinerary around all her wonderful recommendations - but this house is just a gem on the north shore. Well stocked, better than photos, and pristine views of the lake each day. We’ll be back again and again 😊

This place is really nice! It’s not beachfront like advertised but really is the perfect polished pebble! The yard is SO FREAKING AMAZING! If you want relaxing peaceful and private THIS! IS! YOUR! PLACE!!

Chad's place was just perfect for our stay in Two Harbors. It was beautiful, comfortable, well appointed and in a private wooded setting, yet it was very convenient to town. I hope we can stay here again when we come back in the summer.

Beautiful house was perfect for our family. The home was completely updated, clean, and had everything we needed. Adam & Casey were responsive and easy to work with. The area is beautiful with so many activity options. We didn’t get to see everything on our list in a weekend, so we will have to go back, and we would definitely stay here again.

Fjordheim was a Great location for our recent family get together. The spacious house was clean, neat, and had a well equipped kitchen and laundry. The views of Lake Superior are magnificent. Close enough yet distant enough from Duluth and an easy drive from The Cities. We look forward to a return visit.

We had a wonderful stay! I was traveling with my 5-year-old and 3-year-old, and this place couldn’t have been more perfect for a family getaway. The kids loved spending time by the lake, playing with the extra toys and games on the property, and especially making s’mores by the fire at night. It was the kind of stay where you truly make lasting memories together. A special shoutout to Daniela. She was fantastic. Super attentive, quick to respond, and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. Her personal touch made the whole experience even better.
