We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning oven, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Surrounded by forest, meadows and pastures, this charming cabin is not only suitable for recreation and relaxation. In addition to its ideal starting point for hiking (directly on the Uplandsteig), cycling and excursions to the beautiful region, it is only a few kilometers away from the Willingen ski area. Our house stands free between fields, forest and meadows in beautiful countryside. The former farm is located near Wolfhagen. The 100 sqm apartment is located on the first floor and has separate entrances and a very large living kitchen, which is very extensively equipped. The courtyard, terrace and garden can also be used at any time. Hikers can start directly from the farm. The Unesco World Heritage Site "Mountain Park" can be reached quickly.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
