Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. Dine in style at the marble table and afterwards stay lazy on the comfortable couch and watch a movie, or have a drink in front of the electrical fire place. We offer you 2 free bikes.

Cat & Breakfast, the B&B for cat lovers!

The Cat & Breakfast is the place for people who want to get away and love cats. Through a (lockable) hatch, our cats Dix, Jack, Moby and Ted can look you up. In addition, you can get cat-friendly inspiration. The sustainable breakfast consists of homemade vegan waffles, an organic egg, organic cheese, fruit and sandwiches. From the C&B you can reach the IJsselmeer lake in fifteen minutes and the North Sea in half an hour. Nice towns nearby are Medemblik, Enkhuizen and Hoorn.

Get away from it all, enjoy nature on the edge of the IJsselmeer and beach. In the 2700m2 backyard of our farmhouse are two detached tiny houses with a large private garden and private entrance with lots of privacy. The cottage is within walking distance of the historic city of Medemblik and close to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam is 45 minutes away. Various possibilities for water sports. Beach, ports, shops etc. reachable within 5 minutes by car and 25 minutes on foot.
