Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Twentynine Palms

We stayed here for a family wedding in Joshua tree. The house is well represented in the photos. Very clean. Easy check in and out. Lots of kitchen supplies, the cabinets are all labeled with the contents, which made it very easy. Backyard is big and was great to keep my kids busy. Over all easy and felt very comfortable. Hosts were very responsive and we didn't have any issues.

5 Stars. A peaceful desert escape! We had a wonderful stay at Mason House. The property is beautifully designed with thoughtful details, cozy interiors, and a serene atmosphere that captures the spirit of Joshua Tree. The outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxing, day or night. Mike was a great host, clear communication and smooth check-in made everything easy. We felt right at home and truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing desert getaway.

Great place to stay! Very close to north entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Convenient location and had everything we needed.

Jerry and Kim were absolutely lovely hosts—attentive, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. My dogs had a great time exploring the area, and Jerry even let them swim in the pool, which was such a special treat! The property had so many amenities, and it’s exciting to hear that even more are planned for the future. We’ll definitely be coming back! Our stay was both delightful and fun—highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable and magical experience. Upon our arrival, the home was easy to locate and get in to. The home was charming, peaceful, clean and most of all the backyard view was stunning as we had the backdrop of the mountains. The area is very peaceful and we felt very safe during our stay. It was convenient that Joshua Tree was only 20 minutes away. The hosts were available and easy to reach. We look forward to our future visits here!

Just Perfect! Charles’ place is a beautiful, stylish oasis in the desert…clean, modern interior, nice sized bedrooms with super comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen and sooo nice to have coffee options…and of course that wonderful huge backyard with the XL pool, fire pit and the outdoor sofa….we did not even go out, we just so enjoyed our dinner by the pool under the stars. If you’re thinking about exploring Joshua Tree, Charles’ place is the perfect base camp! Thank you Charles, for having us!

Great place - has everything we needed and more. Coffee with some extra filters (#4 cone!) was nice. Hammocks were our favorite spot at the beginning and end of the day. Fire pit was a great spot to hang in the evening with really comfortable chairs. Can’t beat the location - Would love to come again!

We had a great time as a family, and it was a safe place to stay with kids. Scott, the host, provided very clear instructions, so we had no trouble during our stay. Everything was so well explained that we didn’t even need to reach out with any questions. The place was clean, and both the garage and backyard were perfect for a comfortable stay. Such a great beautiful place to stay. It was definitely a home away from home. Very close to Joshua Tree State Park, Good food, flea market and amazing stores. Loved how it also had a little corner with lounge chairs to enjoy the stars.

Great location to the national park! We were able to get into the park early and before the crowds. Walkable to several restaurants and shops. Several floor rugs were a tripping hazard- I would recommend getting new ones or just removing. Beds and furniture were comfortable.

We had a wonderful week stay! Location is perfect to get into the park and town of Joshua Tree as well as an easy drive to 29 Palms, Yucca Valley, Palm Springs, Pioneer Town. The house was large (big dining/living room/master bed) with comfortable beds and great linens. Kitchen had most of what we needed to cook meals at home. We had a few issues with fans/ac, but the hosts were very responsive. Cowboy tub wasn't up and running, so you may want to message host to see if it's back if you are looking forward to it. There is an outdoor table for 4 and a few other outdoor chairs as well. We especially loved sitting in the back yard, which is very private and large, among many beautiful desert plants, animals (lots of birds, rabbits, and lizards!), and stars!

The studio was very cozy! It was what we needed for our Joshua Tree trip- comfortable beds, AC, kitchen, and we loved the added amenities of the pool after a long day of hiking and the deck for stargazing (the skies were clear and incredible). Thank you for hosting!

A beautiful and tranquil place right in the desert. Host was very helpful with directions and recommendations and always reachable when I needed anything. Can recommend!

Tracy and Colleen's place is comfortable and functional. The bed and pillows are also very comfortable + the place had everything you need for short and long term stays. The outdoor space is also delightful. We loved watching the sunset everyday from the front porch with the birds and the occasional bunny or desert squirrel. The location is great. We loved how close it is to the National park. We stayed for almost 3 months and enjoyed our stay. Tracy and Colleen were responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a couple concerns upon check-in and they were prompt in answering and handling our concern. We both work from home and they were kind to leave a desk for us which was super helpful.
