Rushing Reeds, Peace and Space. Birdsong, croaking frogs The visitor center "de Wieden" is within walking distance; Giethoorn and Blokzijl can be reached from here by eco-water liner! (from May to September) The cottage is less suitable for families with babies or when you are with 2 couples.

Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

The cottage is surrounded by a lot of nature and a beautiful lake with weeping willows. The A-frame house offers plenty of privacy with 2 hectares of garden. The lake house has a bright living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and bedroom. Our two Scottish Highland cattle are behind our cottage and are a real highlight. Mein kleines Paradies am See für Naturliebhaber und Menschen, die die Stille suchen. Nach einem Jahr Renovierung, jetzt wieder verfügbar, im neuen Glanz und neuen Ideen. Sehr gute Gegend für Radfahrausflüge und Spaziergänge im Wald oder einfach die Ruhe am kleinen See genießen, und den Vögel und Froschkonzerten zu lauschen. Mücken gibt es selbst im Sommer kaum. Für Menschen die Mal ein paar Tage Auszeit brauchen.
