Experience the best of Northern Wisconsin at this 1,924-square-foot lakeside cottage, nestled in a quiet bay right on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. Clean, spacious, and private property located directly on the water. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the location, with quick access to the entire flowage and dozens of nearby lakes with the ability to dock your boat. The cottage is located right on the Popko Circle trail, offering easy access to over 300 miles of snowmobile, ATV, and UTV trails.

Norrsken Scandinavian Cottage

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.

A 10-15 Min drive from town of Mercer with shopping, restaurants, parks and live music! ATV and Snowmobile trail access. Public boat launch 1/2 mile down the road. A short drive can take you to beautiful Winman bike paths or river tubing and an hour north you can find amazing UP ski hills! Accommodates 4 adults comfortably and VERY family friendly!
