Dear Marc, thank you for a fantastic stay. We enjoyed La Casita very much. Also the pool and the jacuzzi were very good.

My friend and I really appreciated Ana Maria's hospitality and her family's gorgeous home. We loved the special personal touches including the jungle of house plants and well-stocked library with board games and books. Having the fireplace stocked with wood made it possible to have the perfect ambiance for reading in front of the fire on a misty afternoon! We found it helpful to have earplugs at night, as the home is close to a transit road, and earplugs did the trick to help us sleep soundly.

Truly a Jungle Paradise 45 minutes outside of San Jose. My husband and I needed a place to recover from dental surgery and Shirley’s place was the perfect sanctuary. We were given a big Tico welcome upon arrival and felt right at home throughout the entire visit. The first morning we arrived Evereth the caretaker of the land took me on a morning jaunt down to the magical waterfall than runs through the property. The home is perfectly situated centrally between San Jose and Puntarenas making it a great spot to either relax and enjoy the quiet or to explore various regions in Costa Rica! The living room opening to the sound and views of the jungle every morning made for the perfect opportunity to reflect and connect to nature every morning without leaving the front door. We saw so many gorgeous butterflies and giant birds soaring along with a toucan! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the bathroom shower had nice hot water. Truly a healing paradise!

Diego's place is SO wonderful. the jacuzzi in the backyard was nice. The neighborhood is secure with a security guard at the gate at all times. Access to the community pool was a big winner with the kids (those water slides!) Diego was incredibly responsive and always super positive. The whole family was wishing we had more time at this house. We also enjoyed being able to drive to Jaco (20 min) when we wanted it, but sleeping in Tarcoles where things were much quieter. Amazing!

Un lugar hermoso, muy limpio todo bien cuidado. cerca de supermercados y de la piscina!!

We stayed for two weeks and felt sad to leave. Yuliana and her parents were great hosts, always responsive and helpful, recommending places to eat and visit and the occasional gift. Throw into that their dogs who asked for little more than a belly rub for their friendship. The cottage itself was as described. Large screened windows kept the place aired and let the sounds of nature flood in. The lack of aircon meant it was often hot especially upstairs and in the afternoon but what you get in return is a deeper connection to your surroundings. This included visits from capuchin and howler monkeys, birds, bats, toads and countless butterflies, and a diverse range of insects. The screens are pretty good at keeping the latter outside, and you can close the windows. Wi-Fi is decent and other amenities as described. With the heat we didn’t cook much but the option was there. We’d 100% return for the hospitality, the closeness to nature and the dogs.

The house is a described. A wonderful quiet place in the Countryside. Beautiful house and property. Very safe area with wonderful friendly neighbors! If you like mountains, rivers, waterfalls and horses it's VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Roy is an AWESOME host and person. He is ALWAYS available and solves ANYTHING in a FAST and TIMELY manner. Hugo was an extremely helpful and responsive host, and also quite friendly. He recommended a number of local restaurants and activities that I enjoyed and I would be very happy to stay in his place again

Ik had een super fijne nacht in het huis van Jose. Ik genoot van het ruime huis met prachtige badkamers en het bed sliep heerlijk! Het huis was schoon en zeer volledig uitgerust. De locatie was afgelegen en prive maar niet te ver van de voorzieningen verwijderd. Ik raad deze accomodatie aan!

Es la segunda vez que visito el alojamiento y eso se debe a que aporta lo que necesito, paz, privacidad, es perfecto para andar en bicicleta, por la seguridad que ofrece la Hacienda, cuenta con su aguja de seguridad, sólo personas registradas previamente entran. La piscina me encanta, es el complemento perfecto, a pesar de ser invierno llovió únicamente de noche, pero de día no alteró nuestros planes. Cuenta con todo lo necesario para preparar alimentos, muy bien equipada. La habitación, baño son muy espaciosos, aseados, cama super cómoda y aire acondicionado. Recomiendo este alojamiento y a su anfitrión a ojos cerrados, excelente persona, muy paciente, muy amable.

This was the third and last air bnb of the stay and the view was absolutely breathtaking!!! We have dinner and breakfast prepared on site, which was delicious. The villas are lovely and just enough space. We also can literally hearing all the howler monkey from a far but it was so cool! They also have a large property with trails for you to walk. Loved our stay, loved the villa and can’t wait to share it with my friends!! Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing stay at Casa Rana! The house was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect-just a five-minute walk to the beach and the store, in a safe and peaceful neighborhood. We truly felt at home and couldn't have been happier with our experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Costa Rica!

Peaceful setting in a safe, gated community. Host was a great communicator. You might consider something closer to San Jose if that is where you’re planning to visit. Bottle-necked traffic made for long drives in and out of the city.

Un lugar maravilloso para escapar de la ciudad y del afuera caótico. Unas vistas hermosas a montañas verdes y un ambiente rodeado de plantas. Baudilio fue el que nos ayudó con las maletas y con lo que necesitábamos, siempre amable y dispuesto a ayudar! Súper buena persona. Es un lugar recomendable para hospedarse!!

We loved our stay here- the views of the ocean were magical. The pool was fantastic and the host was very responsive and kind. Check in was very smooth and they were very flexible with our arrival time! A HUGE bowl of fresh fruit along with eggs/produce in the fridge and a box of chocolates were waiting to welcome us as well. It was a fantastic stay with so many different nooks for sitting outdoors and enjoying the area. I would highly recommend this Airbnb and its hosts.
