Family-friendly holiday rentals in Tunstall

We had an excellent family stay at the property. We were welcomed to the property by the hosts, and the wood burner was running so it was nice and toasty on arrival. The hosts had also kindly provided some tasty home made biscuits and muffins. The property is spacious, well equipped and well maintained. Burton Fleming was ideally situated for us for days out (Hunmanby gap, RSPB Bempton Cliffs, Burton Agnes Hall, Sewerby Hall). The village has a duck pond as well as a play area, which were ideal for exploring with a toddler.

We have stayed here many times and would strongly recommend. Nice cottage and we love the area.

Amazing break away. Peaceful setting, stunning views. A great place to switch off and relax. Nick was a great host from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend the breakfast box.

We all just wanted to say a huge thank you. From the moment we made the booking right through to the end of our stay, we were thoroughly impressed with the communication, the absolutely stunning barn, and all the thoughtful little touches. We were there to celebrate a hen do, and it was all a surprise for the bride. To say she was blown away by the barn would be an understatement – we all were! We’e never stayed anywhere so beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and so well-equipped with everything you could possibly need – and more. The barn itself and the surrounding area were simply gorgeous. The hot tub was the largest any of us had ever seen, and the amount of space – both inside and out – was incredible. The lovely ladies who welcomed us made us feel at home the moment we arrived. It’s in a perfect location: close to everything, yet it feels like your own peaceful little retreat. We’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to family and friends. Thank you so much!

We had a lovely stay. The location was very peaceful and in beautiful countryside. Great for walks with the dog. Hot tub was a perfect way to relax. We would definitely visit again.

We were looking for a private quiet relaxing weekend and across the hidden gem that ticked all the boxes.Jayne and Stuart were really welcoming and on hand if we needed anything.Highly recommend the dairy barn was immaculate and the hot tub was amazing not to mention the Inn on the green which was located at the bottom of the drive.If you are looking for a quiet getaway then this place comes 100% recommended with first class hosts Darren and Hazel from Sheffield.

The Retreat is an incredible place to stay! What a way to celebrate my husband’s 30th birthday with our baby girl too! We had a blast! The Retreat was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated! You had everything you needed and more! The welcome hamper and gift was so incredibly thoughtful! Louise was an amazing host- she kept us updated throughout! Couldn’t fault it! We will be back! Cannot recommend it enough! Thank you so much!

Fantastic location and as described. Managed to get good parking space on the road could be an issue if you arrived at the wrong time. Cosy living space but large bedrooms and bathrooms. Bath was great but water not too hot. Will definitely be contemplating a return visit.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Walking distance to all attractions like Lincoln Castle( literally on the door step) Lincoln Cathedral and Steep Hill. Lovely pubs and restaurants very close to the cottage. A fantastic park just across the road if like us you are travelling with a dog, it’s perfect for morning walks! Be sure to check out the beautiful community gardens just off the park. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable! A very well equipped kitchen and lovely lemon muffins to welcome us and some treats for our dog too! ❤️ Thank you Leah and Kevin for all the amazing and detailed information before we arrived and for a lovely stay in Lincoln.

Great place and location. fantastic views and accommodation. There was 6 of us plus 2 small dogs which the house and garden was more than accommodating and didn't feel on top of each other.Andrea was always there to help and inform of what is happening in the area.

Clean and well decorated house, within ten minutes walk of the city centre (and level). We very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We had a great time at Kay’s place. The location is perfect, 2 mins from the beach, central location but still peaceful. Plenty of space in the house for 2 families, 2 bathrooms a huge advantage, the outdoor area was great. Kitchen very well equipped. And the stay was made even better by getting a late check out, so we didn’t need to rush on the last day. We’ll definitely be back next year.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location was absolutely perfect for attending the wedding venue, making everything incredibly convenient. The host was so welcoming and met us upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. The property itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Very nice place to stop, lovely cottage, spacious, nice kitchen with everything you could need, lovely complimentary brownies provided, and the host Kayley was extremely reasonable with us, I would recommend stopping here, we had a friends wedding at Everingham Park, and it was a perfect for us, outdoor area with BBQ is also lovely

The location was great, the place itself was great! Had everything we needed, Rebecca helped with anything we needed. Perfect little steady shame we couldn’t stay longer!

We had a great stay and my young kids adored the nice collection of books and toys to play with. Everything was as described and very comfortable!

Lovely stay. The only thing was the swimming pool needs modernising but the private access to the beach makes up for it. Nothing the owners can control.

Lovely house on a nice complex. 5 minutes walk to bar/pool/shop and 15 minutes to a glorious beach. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 toddlers and the house was plenty big enough. The table and chairs at the back are in a real suntrap from 4 pm. The host was very responsive and helpful. Recommended

Mariners is a lovely beach house, fairly cosy size but plenty big enough for 2 adults, 2 teenage children and a golden retriever. Only a few minutes down to a lovely huge beach. Would certainly visit again.
