Beachfront holiday rentals in Tumaraa

Alex was a proactive, and responsive -host that went above and beyond create a perfect holiday stay for us. The place was immaculate and absolutely beautiful. We loved our visit and will stay there again on our next trip. Highly recommend!

It is even better than the photos! Very spacious, great outdoor area with direct water access, bathroom and kitchen and dining area are spotless and lovely decorated.

Gérards studios are an amazing location, easy to walk to town. And with him providing a free shuttle to the beach! What more could you ask for. My only complaint is the walls are super thin, and can hear the people in the studios next to you. Overall amazing house, host, location, etc. I would come back again!

The property offers a magnificent terrace and a pontoon facing the sea. The house is very spacious. Having kayaks is a real plus. The only downside for us is the hardness of the mattresses.

I felt like I was on vacation with my grandparents. Hélène and Marcel were welcoming and had very good tips on activities to do on Tahaa. The rental of the bike was a real plus!!!

My husband and I had such a memorable stay at Tama’s bungalow. First of all, he picked us up at the ferry port promptly. Chilled fresh coconut water (cracked on site by him!) was served as a warm welcome, and he brought us several different sports such as vanilla farm, peal farm , local church, several good spots for snorkeling (to see sting rays), etc. I loved when he picked up some leaves and flowers from Trees/plants and let us smell… lime leaves, lemongrass leaves, some kind of basil, Ylang-Ylang flowers, and many more.. I felt like I was totally immersed in the local culture and its nature. Along the way, he talked about the history of FrenchPolynesia, characteristic of each island (of Society Islands), local vegetations, things to do/see, eatery recommendation. The bungalow where we stayed is at the top of the hill across his residence, with amazing ocean view. We had also a boat tour with him to see sharks. Tama is a great host and I highly recommend his bungalow!!

Everything was fine except that the title is bed and breakfast and we had no breakfast... Otherwise don't have to put breakfast 😌 Friendly .

You will love this location. There is a coral reef right off the dock where you can snorkle and see all the colorful fish. We were able to have the tour companies pick us up for our excursions. We highly reccomend Noè Plantier for 4x4 island tour. Noè grew up on the island and we had an amazing day. Noè can be reached on face book vanilla 4x4 botanical excursions. We also highly recomend Nui with Watercolor fishing. Nui offers fishing excursions as well as water tours around the island.You can find him on face book watercolor sailing. I cant post contact details here but I will on other travel sites. Please note that you will need the host to arrage a taxi from the airport to the grocery store, and then arrange a water taxi to take you to the location. This will cost approx 23,000 xpf each way. Ensure to inquire about what essentials will be required for your stay including toilet paper and soap. The only transport is kyack or bikes if available to access the store.

This was an amazing alternative to the crazy expensive Overwater Bungalows at the fancy resorts! We would choose this again in a heartbeat. It was great to be able to snorkel right off the shore at the property.

Excellent stay! The accommodation was spotless, well located close to downtown and all amenities. Very comfortable and as advertised. Alex was super welcoming, very responsive and available throughout the stay. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to come back!

We had an incredible 4-night stay at this stunning villa in Bora Bora, shared between two couples. The property is absolutely gorgeous—immaculately clean, beautifully furnished to a very high standard, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s also incredibly spacious, with more than enough room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The location is easy to find and well signposted, which made arriving stress-free. Our local host was exceptional—friendly, helpful, and impressively responsive, replying to any questions within seconds. For future guests, we’d highly recommend checking out the Chin Lee supermarket over SuperU for better selection and value. For dining and entertainment, the Yacht Club is great fun, and Saint James restaurant offers an incredible experience. All of these are just a short 5-minute drive from the villa. We truly loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. A perfect base for enjoying the magic of Bora Bora.

Nacha and André welcomed us very well in their beautiful house, very well located on Raiatea! André knows the island by heart and will gladly share all his knowledge about Polynesia. You can also go on a motu by kayak, see sharks and rays in their natural environment. The breakfasts were hearty and very good, with local products, we also ate a delicious Chinese fondue. Thank you to them and also to Kimi, their adorable little dog!!

An unforgettable experience in Raiatea 🌺 We stayed at this bungalow and couldn’t be happier with our choice. The location is truly unique full of history and surrounded by nature perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the authenticity of Raiatea. The bungalow itself is beautiful, very well maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the kayak service, which allowed us to explore the lagoon in a really special way. But what truly made the difference were Mick and his wife: two wonderful, kind, and fascinating people who shared with us amazing stories and insights about the local culture. Without a doubt, a magical place we hope to return to. Mauruuru roa Mick and family!

In addition to a very well-equipped, clean and nice accommodation, we were very well received by Nathalie and Tapu. They are very kind, friendly and showed us and gave us advice on all the activities to do in the area. Hospitable, they offered us a drink of friendship the first day we arrived. Finally, they made it easy for us to rent a car, which was a great help for us to get around the island. Thanks to them for their warm welcome!

We loved staying in the house. Especially enjoyed the backyard and garden, nice evenings watching the sunset from the dock. Would love to visit again

We stayed with Stéphanie for the full time in Raiatea, it was such a beautiful place, interior (nicely decorated) as well as exterior. She cares for her garden (More beautiful than the public botanical garden if you ask me) the steep decent to the house gives you an amazing view of the bay, and you have comfortable furniture on her private small beach to take the view in closely. We went for one of the best kayak trips we had in French Polynesia! Although English isn't her strongest side Stéphanie was informative, helpful and very friendly. We strongly recommend this place - it's a perfect fit to an enjoyable holiday! Be mindful that it gets rather hot in European comparison (the sea brease doesn't pass the apartment and the ceiling fans aren't quite as effective as AC. However, windows and the sliding doors are well-equipped with Mosquito net so you can have it all open 24/7 (Fantastic)

We had a great time at Alizée's place, which was very welcoming and responsive. The setting we stayed in was amazing, the place was perfect. We would definitely recommend this place, and we thank Alizée and her family for hosting us!

Probably, the cleanest Airbnb we have ever been to, spacious, inviting, AC was quiet, shower was hot, WiFi worked fine. Rosiane and her husband met us in person and made us feel welcome from the start. Later that day, we had an emergency, and the hosts were right there to help us. The beach is very beautiful, and it is right across the road. We could not have asked for more.

Listing as described. Access to the terrace at the back by an independent access is convenient to enjoy the magnificent sunsets with views of Bora Bora. The loan of bicycles is a plus. Anaïs offered to pick us up and take us back to the pier (free service). We had a great stay at Anaïs and Grégory's, very kind, available and attentive. They shared their knowledge of the island and the marine environment with us. And thank you again for this morning at the Coral Garden where we enjoyed snorkeling. We recommend.

Very pleasant to stay here. Spacious and great location with amazing ocean view. A very secret location for snokeling just outside the house. Tearere is very friendly.
