Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tromsdalen

it's quite far from the city ( 15 minutes by taxi ) i tried to call uber at 3pm and i could't get one. Tom said i could call taxi ( or book through website ) , which i haven't tried. there's a bus stop nearby, but you must go downhill from the apartmen. if you bring many lugagges, i think taxi is best. that's the downside. but the apartmen itself, loveeee it. The view facing tromso ( from 2 of the 3 bedrooms, and from living room ) is superb. so, no regrets. really enjoyed our stay here.

The home was really beautiful and as described. The star of the home was the steam shower that was perfect after a long day of hiking. The couch was also large. Jarl was really flexible for our check in and out, plus was really fast to respond especially as we arrived which was helpful. You are only a thirty minute walk into town, so very close to all the bakeries and restaurants. Area is quiet, and one of the bedrooms is really dark which is great for the midnight sun.

Amazing cabin in Ringvassøya, as quiet as the arctic countryside but conveniently located 30mins from Tromsø! The house, fully furnished and equipped, is just beautiful, it feels like being on a boat… the sauna in front of the Ocean is an absolute blast! Tina and René have been super reactive and helpful when needed! Couldn’t ask for more! :) hope to see you next time!

Overall, we had a lovely stay. It was very quiet and the view was beautiful!! We were even able to see aurora lights. We will be happy to come back!!

The house is very convenient and the view is spectacular. Most of the time we were in the house was in the armchairs observing the landscape. When we arrived at the house it was warm for what is appreciated with the cold and snow outside. The arrival at the house was a little chaotic since we didn't know where it was going in, the road and stairs were completely covered with snow and after discovering where it was, it was a challenge to climb with my bags and with my mom with problems on her knees, but I was able to use a shovel to clear the way a little. Now we laugh about that but at the time of arrival and snowing it was not very nice jajaj. Regardless of that, Trude was always attentive to my questions and very willingly. There is a bus stop nearby that takes you to the city center but crossing the bridge on foot you can also. And the cable car is close by walking as well. I would stay here again next time, thank you for everything!

Aptly named “The View,” this is a delightful place with spectacular panoramic view overlooking Tromso city center, across the water, including the Arctic Cathedral, and up onto Tromsdalen. I could have sat staring out the windows for hours. We walked (two of us ran) the surrounding snow palace. We enjoyed trolls, the top of Tromsdalen, nearby islands, local cuisine, and exploring the city center and trails. Through it all, our hosts were wonderful - patiently and expertly helping with all manner of questions. A terrific, memorable travel experience. Will definitely seek out The View again when our travels bring us back to Tromso.

Beautiful place. You can find everything you need. The bedding is quality. The view of Tromsø is splendid. The host is available and responsive. The accommodation is well located, you can get to the city center in a few minutes by bus or car. And as a bonus, we had the chance to observe northern lights from the balcony. We recommend this place without hesitation!

Such a lovely Airbnb! Close to bus stops into town, although the walk in was fine as well. Beds really comfortable and the whole house was just cozy. We also saw the northern lights from the window!

Charming and functional apartment, ideally located: 5 min walk from the city center, well served (many buses nearby). Ørjan has always been very responsive. 😃 We had a pleasant week and can only recommend you to stay there, you will not be disappointed!

Great little private spot for a solo traveller over Easter. Easy to get everywhere and to and from the airport. Had all I needed for a few days. Great bathroom and shower. It was a bit cold but Maria gave me an extra heater to use. I’d come back!

I've stayed at Anna's place many times now and there's a reason I keep coming back. Anna is a terric host, kind friendly and always helpful. The apratment is neat, cleean, tidy and quiet with everything you need and within close walking distance to the city, and right beside several handy bus stops. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Tromso, this one is a personal favourite.

Me and my friends had a great stay at Elins airbnb. The little apartment was super cozy and was super comfortable. We had some struggles finding a parking spot in the beginning but Elin helped us since the only parking spot they had was full of snow and it's not allowed to park on the side of the road. Communication was great and we did end up finding a spot to park the car. All in all great location and super comfy for a few days! :)

Great functionally furnished apartment. The view is breathtakingly beautiful and the city center is easily accessible on foot. We had a great time. Bettina was always available and took very good care. Great location

Karsje’s place is just amazing in one word. The place is so cozy offering amazing views of Tromso. The space was perfect for 5 of us including our 5 year old son. The house had a well structured instruction manual so that we didn’t have to bother the host a lot, but still they were very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of utensils so that you could cook without any hassle. There is a car parking available and also the bus stop is just a 10 minutes walk from the house. Just keep in mind that the house in a quite neighbourhood a bit away from the city, so you will have to travel a bit to find restaurants and supermarkets ( 10 minutes with a car or 15-20 minutes with bus). We enjoyed the stay a lot and would recommend it to anyone who visits Tromso.

The house is a super nice place to stay for a few days with a beautiful view(!!!) and all the luxury you need. Ørjan explained everything clearly and easily through a manual. If we ever go back to Tromsø, this house will be high on the list to stay again.

The apartment is very central, clean, spare, simple, Oystein is very responsive, the entire experience was seamless and efficient. I will happily return when I am next in Tromso.

Great stay! Check-in was seamless, and the location was excellent—just a short walk to the city center, Main Street, and the cathedral. The room was small but well-equipped and perfect for a short stay. The highlight was spotting the Northern Lights from the rooftop terrace—a fantastic bonus! Would definitely recommend.

On the way back from the Lofoten to Tromsö, we made a stop here for the last 2 days before the plane left. Great apartment, everything was available that was necessary for a pleasant stay. It was one of the most beautiful holiday apartments we've ever had !! Thank you very much for this, we enjoyed it here very much!!

Beautiful stay in Tromso and in Siv’s home! The apartment was easy to find, secure, and centrally located. We walked everywhere, to restaurants, tour pickups, shops. Her home is clean, comfortable, with plenty of space and good views of the water & mountains. Siv is a wonderful host, always friendly and communicative. Highly recommend!!

Ingrid's place is super cute! I can see why it might be a little challenging to find at first but she gave us the most thorough, easy to understand instructions I have ever gotten with an Airbnb. Complete with pictures! She is also the most responsive host I have ever encountered. When I told her my plans to cycle from Tromso to the Lofoten Islands she gave me a ton of suggestions of sights to see and things to do.

I really enjoyed my stay at Tea's place. The location is fantastic, only a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. The place is small but perfect for solo travelers or a couple. Comfortable bed, great shower and well-equipped kitchen (including coffee maker). And Tea was very helpful with any issues. I highly recommend if you are looking for central and comfortable place to stay in Tromso
