The basement apartment is very nice, spacious, new and luxuriously furnished. We had a very nice time and slept wonderfully. The host and hostess were very nice and welcomed us upon arrival. The place is ideal for, for example, visiting Bonn and Cologne.

Great apartment — very clean and cozy, with new furniture and beautiful views from the windows. The city and surroundings are also fantastic: quiet, with convenient public transportation nearby, a grocery store within walking distance, and several lovely parks and forests perfect for walking or sports activities. Joachim is a great host — very helpful, responsive, and provided all the necessary information. The internet can be a bit unstable at night, but overall it's fine. As mentioned in the listing, if you're taller than 185 cm, you may occasionally bump your head on the slanted ceiling — I did many times — but it wasn't a problem for me during my month-long stay. I definitely recommend this apartment — it’s worth every penny. Thanks again, Joachim!

Fabulous Apartment which is only a couple minutes away from the station that gets you into the centre of Cologne. Extremely clean with plenty additional towels and bed sheets. One of the best Air B&B accommodations I have ever stayed in. Just a fabulous accommodation.

Sandra's apartment is beautiful and has everything you need. We were very happy there for our almost two-month stay. Sandra was always friendly, helpful and responsive. It was great to be able to go for a short walk or run around the lake just outside the door. If you have a car, the location works really well because it is easy to get to the highway, which takes you easily into Cologne or Bonn. If you don't have a car it might be trickier, but there is a bus stop close by.

I really enjoyed my stay at Carola's place. The apartment was very spacious with plenty of storage space. The apartment was very well maintained and clean. Everything you need to live was there. The apartment was in a quiet location and very well-maintained environment with its own parking space for the car. I particularly liked the good contact with Carola. She was always available to me when I had questions. Thanks to the very detailed description of the check-in, I found my way around right away and thus quickly and easily got into the apartment without outside help. In general, I was very satisfied with my accommodation and felt very comfortable and at home. I can only recommend Carola's accommodation with a clear conscience. Already for the 3rd time we stayed with Salome & Cormac and that we keep coming back, speaks for itself. Great hosts and we always feel welcome and right at home. The location is perfect for things to do and the house is relaxed quiet. The apartment is lovingly and thoughtfully furnished with many small extras. We had a wonderful weekend for four and our 2 dogs. The apartment has everything you need. We cooked, grilled and chilled on the great terrace. The apartment has a very charming style and is tastefully decorated. Optimal location with a panoramic view, you can go hiking directly from the house. Good small place for a short stay. Situated on the third floor, with a lot of stairs to climb. This place is great on location as it is only a short walk to everywhere, especially if you like an array of choices in restaurants, cafes and night clubs. City centre is a quick 15 min walk.

We spent an extended weekend in the apartment and always started from there to Cologne, which takes about 30 minutes. Everything is as described and very clean. We felt comfortable immediately and were able to enjoy the time, thank you for this.

We were two for three days in this fantastic penthouse and totally thrilled. The apartment is modern, well-equipped and offers real luxury with a sauna and jacuzzi. Everything was super clean, quiet and ideal for relaxing. The contact with the host was friendly and straightforward. We will be happy to come back!

Excellent place in a quiet, rural NRW village. Sunny, south-side terrace with jacuzzi and a beautiful view onto grass fields, grazing horses and riding stables. Very good sauna arrangement. Comfortable bed. All windows equipped with hard shutters. Well-equipped kitchen, only sugar was missing for some reason and instead there was a curious 500g package of flour with nothing else to use it with.
