One The old smelting works, near Hall for Cornwall

The Old Smelting works is a building of historical importance. Around 1892 and next to Brunels viaduct, it was a Tin Smelting Works. In recent years it has been converted into four modern apartments but holding on to as much of it’s industrial history as possible. The Smelting Works is in the centre of Truro, though quietly tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of the Town Centre which is just five minutes walk away. Train station a 5-10 minute walk away and close to all transport links.

Our mobile home is a 2018 model and is very nicely decorated. There is ample room for a family of four, with two loos and a shower. There is a fridge/freezer and gas cooker. The home is centrally heated and is double glazed. It is situated in our yard in a sun trap. It is a 10 minute drive to the beaches and also 10 minutes to the centre of Truro, which is a lovely city, lots of shops, cafes and quaint streets. An ideal getaway,also an ideal place to work from, laptop space and very quiet.

There is easy access to the north coast beeches with Perranporth only 6 miles away.

The Mowhay at Tregavethan

A peaceful haven amongst the rolling Cornish countryside. The Mowhay is a spacious and comfortable holiday home in mid-Cornwall, close to both coasts and the cathedral city of Truro. The accommodation benefits from a sizeable open plan kitchen/living space with a dining table and sofas, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. French windows open onto an enclosed garden with grassed and patio areas which has views across rolling countryside and a private six-seater hot tub.

Sunnyside cottage

Cosy and comfortable South facing miners cottage, in a tucked away spot in a good location for exploring Cornwall. Ideal for either two couples or a family with children, as the single beds in the second bedroom can be joined to make a super king bed. Quiet walks direct from the door and various beaches are just a 10 - 15 minute car journey - with the famous surfing beach of Porthtowan just 10 minutes away. The cottage is just a short stroll from our good village pub.
