Family-friendly holiday rentals in Tralee

We absolutely loved this cozy, impeccably clean house—so much so, we didn’t want to leave! My favorite part was enjoying coffee each morning with the beautiful view. The extra living space gave our family room to spread out, and the sinks in each bedroom were a great touch for keeping things organized. The beds and towels were soft and comfy, and we were pleasantly surprised by the brand-new washer and dryer (with detergent!). My kids loved exploring the area and heading to the beach. There’s a cute café down the road and a nice pub in town—just be aware that places close early, so plan meals ahead. We didn’t use the hot tub since it seemed a bit tricky to figure out, but overall, this was one of our favorite Airbnb stays!

This was a great Airbnb. Location about 1 mile outside of Killarney. Comfortable clean big. Airbnb is part of the Glen Eagle apartments behind the Brehon Hotel. You have to check in at the GlenEagle hotel which is next to Brehon. Kind of confusing, but we figured it out.

A first rate accomodation in a wild and peaceful setting with a grand view of the "3 Sisters", Mt. Brandon and the wild Atlantic. High ceilings, lots of view windows including in the bedrooms and a fireplace. Great recreational loft space with TV, board games, foosball and darts. Hiking opportunities and the grand town of Dingle short minutes away by car.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille (9 personnes) du 16 au 21 mai. Le logement est parfait : des chambres spacieuses, une cuisine bien équipée, et tout était très propre à notre arrivée. John est un hôte accueillant, réactif et serviable. Il a su répondre rapidement à nos demandes et nous a mis à l’aise dès le début. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ce logement pour un séjour en groupe ou en famille.

Perfekte Lage um die Stadt und die Gegend zu Fuß zu erkunden. Das Haus war in einem perfekten Zustand und wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Sauna ist gleich nebenan und man kann sie kostenlos benutzen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Fantastic house for a large group. Everyone having en-suite made it so comfortable. So much room for chilling and eating etc. Huge amount of fridge/freezer space. Easy to do laundry. All kitchen equipment there including airfryer! Beds were really comfy, everyone slept well!

Roisin’s home is AMAZING! The views from the house are phenomenal, and it is the perfect distance from downtown Dingle by car. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful and private getaway or a place with lots of adventure and things to do nearby, I would highly recommend!

The lodge was an amazing break from our whirlwind tour of Ireland. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and the town of Glenngarriff was fun. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay - the house felt very secluded with beautiful views and our son loved the cows in the nearby field, as well as the visits from the dog next door. It is a traditional house that matches the description and the pictures. It is only a short drive to the local shops / town which was great. Martin and Bridgette were excellent hosts. 3 things we look for are cleanliness, comfort and quiet. We got these in abundance. The view from the house was stunning and seeing all the deer in the garden was very special. Good base for touring the penninsulas with great food in town. I have stayed in this cottage quite a few times over the years - and I always enjoy it immensely. The cottage is lovely, decorated in a style that suits its age, and set in the most stunning scenery. It feels as though you're in the middle of nowhere - it is so quiet the deer come right up to the patch of grass in front of the house in the evenings and there are so many different birds it's almost like an orchestra - but you're definitely not: There are two good restaurants in the area, a nice pub near a harbour, a lunchroom in gorgeous gardens and a very well stocked shop-and-tearoom only a 20 minute drive away. So yes, I will come again!

A delightful house with a lovely view over the harbour. It was great to be just a short walk from the shops, cafes and restaurants and where we could hear lively and uplifting music. The bedrooms are charming and the beds super-comfortable.

Margaret’s home was well cared for and a value for the price. The location is a little isolated requiring about a 15 minute ride into a quaint nearby town with plenty of options for dining. Yes, the view was splendid.

Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in diesem liebevoll eingerichteten Haus! Die Lage ist traumhaft – ruhig, mit herrlicher Aussicht, und gleichzeitig ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Das Haus war makellos sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und mit vielen liebevollen Details versehen, die den Aufenthalt besonders gemacht haben.

We loved our stay at Paddy and Riona’s place! Very cute and cozy loft with a lovely backyard area! The apartment was well equipped for cooking - had all the bits you could need. Had the best time, thank you!

Nora's place was very peaceful to stay at. The scenery is beautiful and there is a nice restaurant within walking distance from the house. Nora is very helpful and offered us some great recommendations on where to go for the best food as well as the best views.

My friend and I just spent a week at Brian’s place. It was everything he described and more. Totally private and serene. The view was spectacular. A short walk to the Dunquin Pier and to Krugers Pub. It’s only 15 km from Dingle but that drive can be a little frightening; for me it was. We opted to take the local bus one day and that was much better. Overall, a wonder stay!

I’ve stayed in Airbnbs all over the world—from bustling cities to quiet countryside escapes—and I can confidently say this was the best experience I’ve ever had. Every detail exceeded expectations. First and foremost, the cleanliness was absolutely outstanding. Spotless from top to bottom—not a speck of dust, not a fingerprint on a surface. You can tell they truly care about hygiene and guest comfort, and it immediately made me feel at ease and relaxed the moment I walked in. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the incredible hospitality. They provided incredibly helpful and curated information about local sights, hidden gems, dining options, and even personalised recommendations. If you're considering booking, do it. It’s a rare gem and I would return in a heartbeat. I already miss the peaceful sounds of birds chirping.
