Holiday rentals with lake access in Trafford

We loved the cottage very comfortable amazing views in a beautiful setting. The hot tub overlooking the lake was idyllic. Sarah was a fabulous host nothing was too much trouble. Children friendly games etc well equipped the grandchildren loved the cats visiting, feeding the goats treats and playing in the garden. Plenty of wonderful walks we loved the canal walks stumbled across great cafes pubs and local shops...the local pub the junction had a great menu and food was delicious. We would definitely come back again thanks again Sarah

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house is spacious with plenty of ensuite bathrooms. It was cosy, comfortable and perfect for us as a group of friends but would be good for families too. The location is lovely- it is set in a charming area with a shop just a minute away. We loved the fact it is surrounded by picturesque English villages with quaint cafes, restaurants and really gorgeous old pubs with open fires. Lovely rambles on the doorstep too. The house itself was idyllic and spotlessly clean. French doors in the main bedroom and living room open to stunning lake views creating a peaceful, nature-filled retreat. Waking up to birdsong and watching ducks on the lake was magical. Handy for quick access to Manchester and airport and great value for money. The host was helpful. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

I had a fantastic stay at Sunny’s 2-bedroom house in Wigan. The location is ideal—just a short drive from the town centre yet peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect base for exploring or relaxing. Alexandra Park is a 10-minute walk away on one side, and the canal is a 10-minute walk away on the other side. If, like me, you like going for runs, this is perfect. The house was spotless, spacious, and even had a garden. Both bedrooms were comfortable and well-furnished, and the living area was cosy and inviting. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home, like fresh linens and a few welcome treats. Sunny was a great host—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was just right for my stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. If you're visiting Wigan, this place is a real gem!

Peter’s place was exactly as it looks in the photos, finished to a high standard, and clean throughout. We had sky tv & Netflix throughout the house (including the cinema room), and enjoyed the easy to use Sonos-style speakers that are situated throughout the house. There are walkable shops and pubs in the village nearby and it’s a short drive to Tatton Park, Quarry Bank or Alderley Edge if you’re looking for outdoor walks. The pond & stream in the garden are great to look out upon and provide a peaceful setting. Everything was straight forward but Peter was easily contactable if we needed him. A great stay overall and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Hamed's home from home was ideal for what we needed given our temporary housing issue (waiting to move into our new house). Hamed's home is spacious, secure and in a nice quiet spot. Hamed was very accommodating and extremely good at communicating. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of spare herbs and sauces, which was great. I didn't get chance to check out Pennington Flash (a local nature reserve) but me and my daughter did head round Bickershaw Country Park which is literally 2 minutes from the end of the road, and that was a lovely quiet spot. Thanks again Hamed for everything, it's really appreciated.

We had the best time, the location is perfect for exploring the area including Alderley Edge and the Peak District. The place was amazing, clean and tidy with the best views. My four children and I enjoyed a comfortable one night stay in this beautiful property. We had a warm welcome from Jennifer and felt right at home . We only wish we had been staying longer

Our stay was lovely, the price was very reasonable and Fatima was very quick to respond to our messages. There was a disruption to the water at one point due to some nearby construction and she was very quick to send someone to check on the water, which we really appreciated. But a couple of things could really have improved our stay. My girlfriend felt that a small bin in the bathroom would have been very handy and we were also disappointed to find that there were no cereal bowls or pasta dishes in the property, only plates, so we had to pick up some extra crockery.

This is one of the best places I’ve stayed in Manchester! Great view from the balcony, inside was pristine, felt so clean and new. A perfect apartment, well worth the price. Has everything you need. There’s a beautiful gym and nice study area in the lobby, such a great vibe. Sainsbury’s being literally a 1min walk away was so convenient! Amazing place will definitely be staying here again. The host Josiah was a pleasure to talk to. Extremely helpful and responsive, made our stay even better.

Fabulous place in the perfect location, easy access, privacy, loads of space. Was immaculate on arrival, lovely and warm and with everything we needed for a short break. Had our 2 dogs with us and its perfect for them.

Although I had some challenges finding the lockbox to check in, the flat was absolutely stunning! It was so modern and really nicely decorated. There was plenty to do in media city and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Raya was an amazing host. After needing somewhere else to stay last minute I found Rayas place available. Raya was very responsive and we quickly made arrangements for my booking she was very helpful and was there to welcome us when we arrived and offer local information to where we could go eat and have a look around. We had everything we needed and I would happily stay again. Thanks Raya for being a great host.

We booked on very short notice (1 day before our trip to be exact) yet everything was perfect. The house, which was spotless, had everything we needed with plenty of space for 3 adults. The location was ideal for our plans, only a 20 minute drive to a Kinder Scout / Mam Tor trail. There is also a Tesco Superstore 5 minutes down the road. Claire was a lovely host who got back to us quickly every time we messaged. Would highly recommend!

An absolute gem of a place, wonderfully peaceful and in a beautiful location, with the Highland cattle and open fields on one side, and the lovely little Church on the other, well worth popping in to enjoy a quiet moment. The house is well placed for access to many places but sufficiently removed to be able to get away from it all. We would definitely recommend Feast in Congleton for freshly prepared food and a lovely coffee. We have never stayed in a cleaner, more well stocked home from home! David and Ann were lovely, popped in to check everything was OK then gave us space to enjoy the house. Everything was excellent quality, with wonderfully comfortable beds! Reading the guest book there are many repeat visitors and you can absolutely see why people would return time and time again, we certainly hope too.

My friend and I had 3 lovely days at Chew Cottage. It’s in a beautiful area, with local pubs and fabulous walking. The house is quirky and as described. Lovely little garden and house was very cosy. Jeanne was pro-active in responding to a problem with the Tv signal, arranging for the aerial to be repaired the next morning. As an Airbnb host myself, I appreciated the facilities and good communication. Lots of free on street parking nearby I .e. Just across the road.
