Clean, Big villa! 5 parking spaces!Small dogs allowed!

Yanagi-an is located in Kameoka City, the back of Kyoto. It's a little bit far from the center of Kyoto, but it's 10 minutes to Saga-Arashiyama and 17 minutes to Nijo Station by JR from nearby Umahori Station, so I don't think it's that inconvenient compared to the city. There is also plenty of parking, making it ideal for gatherings with relatives. Nearby there is a trolley train, Hozugawa descent, and a rafting departure point for everyone to enjoy. There is a shopping mall, TSUTAYA, and restaurants within 100 meters of the inn, which is very convenient. Yanagian's nearest station, Umahori Station, is 25 minutes from Kyoto Station. 10 minutes to Arashiyama Station, 17 minutes to Nijo Station. It's also convenient if you book the Romantic train. There are a supermarket, pharmacy, DIY store and restaurants close by.

In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Makoto-san was such an amazing person. He drove me to the metro station when i checked out and he greeted me when i get off the metro to check in as well. I was so sad that i only had 2 nights there. When i come back to Japan, this is a place that i will definetely come back to, even just to say hi and do things together again. He prepared us all a map he did by hand and it was the most helpful and cutest thing ever! His reccomendations were on point and delicios. He plans events and has a calendar of it so there is almost always things to do with him and it's so fun! Overall this stay was amazing and i am so grateful that i got to stay here. Thank you so much Makoto-san!

The host was very welcoming and wrote a welcome sign at the door. Although it was very far and tiring to walk from JR Station, it was a little comforting to see such a warm welcome.After ringing the doorbell, the landlord ran all the way to greet us. She was a very polite and friendly woman: she helped us with our luggage, showed us around the house, and gave us a lot of good advice and tips.On the day of departure, the host was also very enthusiastic about taking us to the JR Station by private car.Despite some language barriers (we are mainland Chinese and sometimes do not understand English), we still talked a lot: anime, bands...The environment is very beautiful, there are some flowers and plants in the small yard, the air is fresh, and there is a shrine next to it that can calm our hearts.Overall, the experience of this trip was very good and worth trying.The last sentence is to tell us Chinese people: it is very worth trying, believe us, Chinese people do not lie to Chinese people!
