Beautiful area, great apartment in a fantastic location!

What an absolute gem of a place! Spectacular views, easily accessible to beautiful walks, local grocery store, public transport, island ferry and the most gorgeous rock wallabies right on your doorstep! The apartment was super clean and comfortable and you didn't want for anything, it had everything you needed to make the best holiday and incredible memories. We will definitely be back! Thank you Kathy for an unforgettable experience.

This was our first time visiting Magnetic Island and this place was exactly what we needed! The apartment was modern and spacious for the two of us. The best thing is that it’s walking distance from the ferry.

Beautiful apartment. Absolutely spotless and right next to the ferry, plus quick access to the bus stop. There was a little misunderstanding at reception as they didn’t seem to have our booking in the system, but it luckily worked out.

We had a wonderful stay at Andy’s place, the pictures really don’t do it justice! It’s slightly set back from the street and in a gated complex so it feels very safe. All the conveniences of a full laundry and kitchen made our stay very relaxing and easy. Having a dedicated car space right near the unit was great for our holiday and the 2 bedroom layout perfect for our family. Nice and quiet, yet still in the middle of it all - would definitely stay here again and recommend this unit to all. Don’t hesitate to book this one 🌴

All was great for the apartment. The only thing was gym and pools were what I was looking for and the gyms were all locked and unusable. I wouldn’t have booked it if I’d known

Beautiful property. The beach is amazing. The house itself is wonderful and clean. Many large entertainment areas for playing boardgames, having dinner or having a gin and tonic and taking in the view. only a 45 minute drive from Townsville.

It was really great to stay at Scott's place in Balgal Beach. He responded within 10 minutes, extremely flexible including allowing us to check out late, allowing us to use the deck upstairs (as he was away) and suggestions for food places. The one bedroom apartment downstairs is quite big with a lounge area, a large bedroom with two double beds and a kitchen & dining area. It is very clean, neatly decorated and organized. The location of the place could not be better right across the beach and within 100m of a great fish and chips place! Highly recommended and I look forward to returning here soon.

We would totally recommend this property, lovely vibes as soon as you walk into the spacious living, kitchen area. We loved the kitchen, plenty of room for a couple of cooks. The 3 bathrooms worked a treat, the main ensuite is amazing. We made good use of the lovely shaded pool, perfect for the Townsville summer. We have had a perfect relaxing break, the house was very easy to keep clean and tidy, we will definitely stay again on our next break up North.

Joshua was alway very responsive to messages and very helpful. Good spot for family’s. Very central to everything in Townsville!

The accomodation was beautifully presented with lots of little welcoming touches. There was plenty of space and thoughtful additions to make our stay memorable. It was exactly what we hoped it would be and more! Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.

The home is beautiful. Location is great and easy access to the beach. Caroline has thought of all the little things that makes a home a home. Plenty of amenities close by and loads of space inside the home. We’re looking forward to another visit soon!

We loved our stay at Toolakea Beach Retreat! So peaceful and restful! V iews straight out to the water, a beautiful walk along the sand, a tastefully styled little beach shack. Checking in and out was straight forward, Laine left very clear and helpful instructions. Our family of 6 was very comfortable and loved coming back to the house after days out in Townsville. Would happily come back and can highly recommend!

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed. The view is amazing and the apartment has everything we needed for a relaxed stay on Magnetic Island.

Was a great apartment, so very central to everything - stadium and city centre, restaurants and markets. Brett was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. Light and bright with awesome views of the river and stadium, even Maggie Island can be seen.

Old school airBnB. Lived in space, had everything we needed. We were close to amazing restaurants (We highly recommend ‘A Touch of Salt’ superb 5⭐️ dining), the Cowboys Stadium & Townsville nightlife. Anthony’s place has a large balcony with a beautiful view of Castle Hill & the River/ Yacht Club. Whilst it was easy to access the building, it was still very secure (parking and accommodation) we would definitely stay here again! Thank you Anthony. Just a note for elderly visitors, both bathrooms (ensuite + main ) have over bath showers (quite a step up and into the bath - my 80 yo in-laws managed, but just an FYI for those of you wanting to stay with elderly family).🙏🏻
