The Blacksmith’s Shop

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Blacksmiths cottage is fitted out to a high standard. Great quality kitchen, stylish bathroom with a lovely rain shower and spacious lounge and dining area. The view from the lounge is amazing and it is so peaceful! It was an absolute delight in the evening to watch and hear the swallows swooping and diving. The overall setting is fantastic - on a remote farm surrounded by beautiful views. It's a commitment getting to and from the farm down well pot holed narrow country lanes, but it's worth it. It just meant that once we were back from a day out, we were in for the evening! We didn't get to use the hot tub, mainly due to the weather, but it would be super to use that on a warm summer evening with that magnificent view. Philippa was a great host and I would highly recommend staying here.

Lower Abbey Mill House, Jedburgh (with Abbey view)

We greatly enjoyed our stay in June's apartment. It was beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. We enjoyed the town and in particular Jedburgh Abbey. We took the circular walk from the Alltrails App. Beautiful scenery and views.

Stableside. Charming, authentic , peaceful

CharisRating, 5 stars5 days ago
A unique find with lots of character. Served us well for our two night stay. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Right in Jedburgh with an Abbey, home of Mary Queen of Scots, and walkable down town area. We had coffee at Abbey Bridge Coffee each morning. We took a day trip to the Bamburgh Castle, enjoyed the beach, then over to St Abbs Head National Nature Reserve. So much beauty in that area.

The Hayloft

this is our second - but not last stay. Lovely peaceful location, spacious accommodation, with kind and friendly hosts next door. Well equipped and interior has charm and character. It's off a quiet road, near the base of Yeavering Bell. The whole area exudes an atmosphere of ancient history and magic. The accommodation is so well placed for visiting all places of local interest and many wonderful walks. I would strongly recommend this for lovers of the countryside and walking. If you seek a peaceful stay, this is the place!

Kestrel Lodge

NickRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely location, with great views. We were only there for two nights so didn't make use of the hot tub, but everything was there if we'd needed it. The property was exactly as described, clean and fully fitted out. A decent breadknife would have been handy (we didn't think to buy sliced bread!!) but that aside everything else was perfect.

Stylish Apartment In Central Kelso

JaneRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I spent a week relaxing at Rebecca’s place and can honestly say it was absolutely wonderful! The apartment itself is perfectly presented with everything I could have needed during my stay. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and Rebecca’s apartment is a perfect base to explore lots of places by car. Locally there is plenty of choice for either coffee with a quick bite or something more to eat. I’d thoroughly recommend Rebecca’s apartment to anyone visiting the Scottish Borders region.

Rambler Cottage. Peaceful village retreat.

StephenRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We enjoyed our stay in this peaceful village. The cottage is spacious and very clean. We both like our space. There is a small garden at the back of the property where one can sit and read. It is lovely to hear the various bird noises here. It was an ideal location to tour the Scottish Borders as we had booked to visit Floors Castle and Gardens. The Castle was much bigger than I thought it would be and the gardens are beautiful. We also liked Melrose and Hawick where we bought some cashmere. The Community Shop in Morebattle was only 5 minutes walk which we used and the local Templehall Hotel for a meal. Another place to eat out was the Plough Hotel at Yetholm roughly 5 miles away. We enjoyed the quietness in this village because we live in a town and we would recommend anyone to stay in this delightful cottage.
