We had a wonderful stay at Paula's casa! The house was not only clean and cosy but also incredibly well thought out – probably the most thoughtfully designed place we've ever stayed in. Every detail was taken care of, from the fully stocked kitchen and laundry facilities to the well-equipped bathroom and cleaning supplies. It truly felt like a home away from home, with everything we could possibly need right at our fingertips. Enjoying mornings on the balcony was the perfect extra touch – so peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely be returning! Paula was also very responsive to our messages and a delight to communicate with throughout. Thank you so much for such a fantastic stay! xxx

Antonio is super responsive and made it easy to find the location. The room is just as displayed. Shower is small, but everything works well. Has an A/C for cold/heat too, which was great as it was a cold night when we were there. Definitely recommend. Tight streets, but nice to have parking up by the room. You could also park at the lesser-known bottom gate and walk up, very close to the room as well. If you have a small car then you could drive from that small gate. Didn't find great restaurants in Monsanto, but Antonio suggested another one, so we walked the 15 minutes to the town beneath that had a place called O Carlos that had good food and was open until 10pm. Castle ruins are great. Monsanto town is like a story book. Amazing sunsets.

We had a perfect stay at John’s yurt. The yurt was very well equipped, and we had everything we needed. The area was also very beautiful and a perfect place to watch the sunset and stars. We are extremely appreciative of John and family’s hospitality and warmth, not to mention going above and beyond when we had a flat tire in the morning! Definitely recommend! Thanks so much for having us, hope we will be back one day :))

Surrounded by fields of grass and almond trees. Comfy, shady gazebos, a giant white mulberry tree, the friendliest black lab, and sounds of birds, frogs and tinkling bells of sheep grazing in the distance. Paradise in Portugal.

Maria was excellent, very friendly and always ready to help when we had questions, the response time was very fast. The house is much better than the photos, everything is excellent quality, all kinds of utensils you need for sleeping, bathing, eating, everything! And the pool is amazing, the grill is great for barbecuing! I had a huge desire to go back there for vacation!

If you are looking for a place to rest and be more relaxed, away from traffic and closer to nature, this is the ideal place. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, hygiene, etc. The pool that the house offers has a very beautiful view, and it's a good pool! On the other hand, the nearest city is Seia, where you can go by car (8 to 10 min). The location of the Airbnb is a very small village, there is almost no entertainment (which is good because there is no disturbance from neighbors). The entrance to the house is also very small and narrow. Overall, I spent 2 very quiet nights, we made our own food and we only needed to go to the city once. The location matches the images provided. The host was very friendly, flexible and attentive.

Just blown away by our stay at Casa dos Galegos. Daniel was so friendly and helpful and the little touches he brought such as the welcome basket and sweet treats and cherries from his land during the week really made it feel extra special. The space is beautifully designed and super comfortable, inside and out, the inside has high end hotel touches while the outside is the perfect place to relax all day in such beautiful surroundings. I’m a cat lover and absolutely loved being surrounded by such happy, friendly cats mostly sleeping sweetly in any shade they can find! The surrounding area is stunning and we loved exploring all the nearby villages and popping over the border to Spain for tapas! We started most days with a hike of which there are plenty of well marked trails and perfect sized routes of 5-7km as well as longer ones for the more adventurous (and less hot days!!)
