Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Totonicapán Department

Beautiful home! Nicely decorated and spacious. The pool and sauna was a great touch. The on site manager, Juan, was incredible with anything we asked for or needed. Only feedback is that we would have loved a full length mirror and some days the internet wasn't good. And it can be nosy outside because of the school next door but that's not something the host can really control. We had a fabulous stay and would absolutely recommend to anyone else traveling in the area!

This home was incredible! Not only is the location fantastic - private, right on the lake, easy to drive to, walkable to San Marcos - but it is decorated, furnished and staffed to feel like a luxury getaway. I would recommend taking the staff up on the option to have a chef and massage therapist come during your stay. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was the perfect getaway for our family and we look forward to returning.

We really enjoyed our stay! Daniel, our concierge, was always a text away and very responsive. Maria the housekeeper was very attentive and helpful, even in exchanging Queztales for us! The house had everything we needed. Just as pictured. Updated decor and fully stocked. Bedrooms and bathrooms were small. The house had no walking access to the lake. The lake views were amazing. We enjoyed the jacuzzi watching the sunset! The way up was very narrow and steep but well worth the spectacular views! Daniel’s instructions on how to get there were very detailed, but I suggest arriving early since the drive up can be tricky, so buy everything you need for your stay before arriving. Daniel helped us rent a boat for the whole day that took us around the lake and to San Juan, a picturesque village on the other side of the lake. Restaurant/bar nearby highly recommend Kinnik in Santa Catarina for drinks and appetizers and the empanadas from Terrazas Rst. Overall, a great stay with family!

Everything is very clean, close to the hostels and easy access, the pool needs a little maintenance and garden areas but the apartment is very functional. There are many friendly cats and dogs.

Although my stay was short, I loved the house. A beautiful view, a very nice garden and many peacocks. The house is very spacious and has everything you need. We really enjoyed swimming in the lake and dining at the restaurant.

I cannot describe how beautiful and peaceful Casa Julia is. A slice of paradise. Hollie provided clear instructions and provided numbers for local drivers and Markus to assist us during our stay. We will definitely be returning if possible!

What a beautiful home with a truly wonderful staff! We absolutely love staying here. Susy is an incredible cook, and Samuel, the groundskeeper, is always so attentive and kind. The bedrooms are comfortable, and the multiple bathrooms throughout the house make it perfect for our large group of 20. Staying with Eric and his team is always a pleasure. We can’t recommend it enough!

Great stay. Two families each with two kids and plenty of beds and space for kids to run around. We hired a local chef, Juan Carlos, to cook dinners, which really turned the trip into a vacation. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, etc within 5 min walk. Mariano, caretaker, met us at dock to help carry luggage to the house. Temescal was very relaxing at night and we loved hearing the birds and wildlife scurry around. We had some cloudy weather so pool/jacuzzi wasn't warm, but we cant change the weather! 100% recommend.

Amazing getaway. Incredible house and surrounding property. Stunning views and easy boat transport from the dock down by the private lakefront beach. Boat shuttles during the day to and from nearby Panajachel are included. Host and groundskeeper were very helpful in coordinating boat rides. Kitchen fully equipped - we cooked dinner for 3 nights.

I stayed at Balam Ya Rentals and it was truly one for the books. The property felt luxurious, spacious, and incredibly private—perfect for a restful retreat by Lake Atitlán. From the private driveway and designated parking space to the lush surroundings, everything about the space invited relaxation. What made the experience especially memorable was the attentive and kind team. They were always available to help us coordinate taxis, meals, and even a private boat to explore the lake and its surrounding villages. While some services came at a higher-than-average price, the level of comfort, ease, and care made it more than worth it. If you’re looking for a peaceful, elevated experience in Lake Atitlán with top-tier hospitality and privacy, this is the place.

Honestly, book this GEM right now! Host Claudia was always quick to respond and provided great recommendations. The on-site hosts, Ramiro, Nico, and their family, were incredibly kind and attentive. They helped with our luggage up and down from the parking area to the villa, cooked excellent meals, and kept everything spotless every day (we added the cooking & cleaning services to our stay). They also assisted with boat reservations and answered any questions about the nearby towns, making everything feel seamless. Notably, the villas are all stairs, so be prepared for a bit of cardio – but the breathtaking views from the Palopo villa are absolutely worth it. The villas themselves are also pieces of art! The architectural design that when into them is phenomenal. Moreover, they also have a private dock for water access - we even went swimming one of the days! Can’t wait to go back!!

I want to start off by saying that I loved the cabin! Although it was a bit rough going up but it’s all worth it because the view was amazing! Sharon was very responsive and she even recommended a list of people to contact to help us around. I would totally come back to disconnect and be one with the beauty of nature. A perfect getaway for a couple!

Beautiful and tranquil spot near San Pedro. The views of the lake were stunning, and the atmosphere was peaceful—great for relaxing. A bit removed from the bustle, but still easy to get into town. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

We had a very nice family stay. Excellent attention by the host and by the assistants Sergio and Jonathan. My daughter rode horse, campfire. We were greeted with details such as local breads, eggs from their farm and the cabin with very welcoming Christmas ornaments. I had a small health issue and the host helped me solve it. Recommended to 100
