Wouw it couldn't be any better!! masa is such a nice guy and very welcoming! upon arriving we felt welcome, he explained everything and went his way. he had answers for every question we had and helped us to the best of his ability. upon arriving we gave him some Dutch gifts ( fridge magnet of a wooden shoe with tulips and a pack of stroopwafels) this shook him but he accepted it with a smile from ear to ear! the accommodation was clean and well taken care of, plenty of room for 2 people and really close to Ebara-machi station, which we used the most to get around. friendly people around Ota and the 7-11 around the corner is also very helpful! next time we are planning to stay longer! Domo arigato gozaimasu masa-san!

Our family loved the location, privacy, and especially the Floor 5 Spa and Sauna. Proximity to shops, French bakery, and markets, were fantastic. We highly recommend this rental to others.

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. She dressed us in beautiful kimonos, carefully helping us put them on the correct way. Drinking matcha that was pure and fresh—words fail me. It was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Kou and the hosting team are all very friendly and responsive! The house is well-equipped for a comfortable stay and is located in a residential area, but not too far from Ikebukuro station (8-10 mins by foot). Overall, I enjoyed my stay here!

House is new and very clean. You can feel this from walking on the floor It’s a safe and quiet compared to the other side of Ikebukuro station. A park and super market in walking distance is pleasant Host is very responsive and friendly. They solve the WiFi issue immediately. TV height is a little high. Everything is new and works well. Even expected, the narrow floor plan and going up/downstairs everyday is still tough. But kids love the separation from parents. Overall a good value in this expensive Tōkyō life

Before I stayed, they sent me a video of how to get to the inn and how to unlock the door, so I was able to get there without getting lost. From the moment I entered the inn, I was impressed by the very nice space!As the name COMORI suggests, it is a very quiet place, perfect for a solitary retreat.This time I could only stay for one night, so next time I would like to stay for consecutive nights and enjoy relaxing at the inn and walking around the area!

A very good stay! Japanese-style house in a quiet residential area. About 10-minute walk from the subway station, and it's relatively smooth to Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, and Shibuya. The landlord speaks very good English, responds promptly, and even recommends us the red wine. The house is clean and tidy. Although it's a bit old, the facilities are very complete. The stairs are very steep, but my 50-year-old mother didn't encounter any problems. The landlord also prepared water and snacks. All in all, it was a pleasant experience! I hope to come again if I have the chance!

Second time we stayed here and would stay again. Quiet neighborhood close to the station and sights.

(1) The neighborhood is quiet, there is 711 across the street from the street a little further away, there is Lawson and family, it is very convenient to buy daily necessities. (2) It is close to Ikebukuro East Station on the Yurakucho Line, a 4-minute walk, which is basically the same as the description; but it is far from JR Ikebukuro Station, about 18 minutes on foot, and 95% of travel uses JR, which has some gaps from my wish to live near the subway station. (3) The check-in is very convenient, and the hygiene is quite satisfactory, but it has been clarified that the other bed is not prepared for the stay for 4 people. (4) There were fewer outlets, which was a bit inconvenient for multiple people.

It was a very nice stay and Ryuji is an amazing host!

My family and I stayed in Mayumi's place for 4 nights. The property was clean and the host provided us freebies when we arrived. Mayumi and her husband were very responsive and kind. I like this place because it's close to places of interest, i.e. Shinjuku and Shibuya, via train, but it is in a residential area. It is also right across the JR train station, so it's easy to go around and travel. There are stores and restaurants in the area, so it's easy to go out for food and basic needs. We recommend this place for families!

I know that the accommodation in Japan is expensive, but I think 4 people will stay for 4 nights! The location was good, and it was a 5-minute walk from the subway station, so it was easy to get to, and there was a 7-Eleven right in front of the accommodation, so I used it comfortably! You have to take the subway about 8 times to get to Shibuya and Shinjuku, but it was so nice to be able to get to Ikebukuro in just 2 times. There aren't many restaurants near the accommodation, so it was easy to go out and play! It was so nice that I'd want to stay here if I come to Tokyo next time. 💙

Very cozy and unique space. If you’re a fan of creative architecture and don’t mind staying a little way outside the city this is a gem.

Sho's flat is a perfectly located room in a neighbourhood which is fun to explore - tons to do, all within walking distance. The nearby temples/shrines are sublime. Take Sho's excellent food recommendations - all of which turned out to be exceptional; recommended walk to the gym/pool also great. (Within blocks, there is a restaurant-filled quarter - incredible variety.) The walks themselves are scenic, and the location convenient to virtually all of Tokyo. Sho was always kind, helpful and responsive. The room is a great place to crash...do bring earplugs, though, as you are at the mercy of the guests upstairs (who may not walk on tiptoe.) The character of the small room is that of a simple hotel - it is not very personal or apartment-like. The bathroom is comfortable, clean and functions well. Although the check-in process sounded quite elaborate, it ended up being easy. Choose this place for the location and exploring ...and for a good night's sleep, as the room is small and simple.

My husband and I, along with our 9 year old son, traveled to Japan for the first time and had the best stay at Andy’s inn. He was very responsive, the place was not huge but was big enough to fit our needs. The beds were comfortable, clean, there was heating and air conditioning, microwave and fridge. There is a washer but no dryer, which wasn’t a problem bc we just hung our clothes outside the patio to dry. The train station and 7-11 is only a couple minutes away. We walked to Shinjuku within 20 minutes. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay near the action but still have peace and quiet!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The clear instructions provided made check-in a breeze, and I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who kindly assisted me with my luggage. The place was impeccably clean, equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. It was pleasantly quiet, and just a 5-minute walk to the subway station.

The location is very close to the subway station, there is a lot of food nearby, and the convenience store is a bit far from the ground floor.There is free wifi in the homestay, there may be no washing machine, I am satisfied with the rest!The landlord was very friendly and happy to interact, and I will come back again next time if I get the chance.

Great place and quiet neighbourhood Nearest station is like 5 minutes on foot and about 20-30 minutes for shinjuku so you don’t have to travel a lot to get to the center of Tokyo Kota is very responsive and helpful Definitely recommend

We had a lovely stay at Shunki’s place! Everything was clean and spacious with easy check in and out instructions. The location was convenient to the train station and we had multiple convenient stores and shops for our every day needs. We were welcomed with a box of treats when we arrived and it was super sweet! Highly recommend :)
