A gas grill is available. Large associated parking area with charging pole for electric vehicles on the property. The villa is located 4 km from Storsjön's pearl, Årsunda Strandbad. 30 minutes drive from Kungsberget Ski resort and 20 minutes from popular Högbo Bruk. Currently only access to the lake in winter.

Enjoy the 200° water views and spend the days swimming or fishing from the private jetty with 2 kayaks available for use. Pick berries or mushrooms in the nearby forest or walk on beautiful trails. Cuddle up next to the fireplace and enjoy the sunset before bed. In the winter, experience the white landscape, walk or ski on the frozen lake. Alpine or cross-country skiing in close driving proximity.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop 4 min walk. The house is timbered in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from the death of the wastehouse when it was moved here. The decor is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Herbre in natural farm environment

The cottage (‘härbre’ in Swedish) is one of several small outbuildings in a picturesque setting. The building is from the 19th century. The lower floor has been carefully renovated using traditional building preservation methods. There is a kitchenette with cold water, a fridge and a hob. The outdoor toilet is just a few steps away. The shower is in the main building. The forest is just around the corner with good opportunities for shorter or longer walks. Free parking.

Lake cabin with all the amenities by the fishing lake.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunrise is an extra plus. Please also refer to my guidebook that is in my profile. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away. 2-4 kicks are available to borrow.

Stay in “Kråkboet”, a converted barn in the countryside.

You live in the Crow's Nest, a converted barn, secluded, on our property. An apartment about 70 sqm housed in a barn, with 6 sleeping places, divided into 4 bunk beds and a divisible double bed, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and shower. We've provided the Crow's Nest with a Google Home device. If you don't want to use it, just unplug it. :) However, it is an invaluable tool for the visually impaired, for example.

Beautiful old house in Torsåker

Separate two bedroom apartment in turn-of-the-century house, situated on the outskirts of the small village of Torsåker with beautiful views of the hills and fields. Perfect for a quick stop or a longer stay. (We are closed over the winter months because of the energy-prices. Welcome back in the spring, we open up again at the end of april 2023!)
