Mario is an extraordinary, caring, generous and warm host! The places are peaceful, excellent for disconnecting and slowing down! I strongly suggest you eat with him and share his wine, everything is delicious! We are very sad to have left after only 2 nights!

We loved our stay. We are a group of 3 couples and 2 daughters and were surprised by the house, everything was very esteemed, clean and with such a pleasant smell. The house has everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen, several spaces to eat and stay, indoors and outdoors, the pool and the outdoor space are super nice. It is a charming house, old but impeccably restored, we loved the entrance, the wooden staircase, the antique furniture… everything was impeccable. The area is very quiet, with a tiny grocery store, but with a little bit of everything and very nice people, bread at the door. We loved the surrounding area, Elisa pointed us to a river beach that is simply magnificent for its peace, tranquility and such good water. In short, it was a wonderful few days, Elisa is a very friendly and helpful host, the house is magnificent and the area is very good. We recommend it and will certainly be back.❤️

Maria welcomed us saying: “welcome to my paradise”. Maria’s place turned out to be paradise in earth. Maria thought about every detail. The welcoming meal, breakfast, how neat the rooms were was all organized and planned with passion . The garden is where I spent most of my time. The views are magical. It was impressive to witness companion planting live in Maria’s garden. Multiple sections of the garden are strategically positioned within the land. Every section has a sitting place where Maria invites you to sit and enjoy her hard work. This is by far one of the best Airbnb I stayed in.

For those who want peace, quiet and a few days away from the hustle and bustle, this is the ideal place! With a privileged view over the Douro, barbecue and a pool that reached 29º, what more could we ask for? The house was clean, the air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked smoothly and they left us some treats (more than was even needed) for our breakfast. Thank you! The host was super accessible, friendly and concerned and took us on his boat for a ride on our beautiful Douro River. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful airbnb with stunning view and clean rooms. Additional to the included breakfast, there is free coffee and cakes in the afternoon.

The village in which the house is located is very cute, and quiet, there was only one other couple of residents there. The porch of the house has a spectacular view, we woke up with the birds and looked at the river, on the last day there were 3 cruises but are very quiet, it is possible to walk around safely. It is a place to rest, there are 2 nearby restaurants, however, one is closed at this time of the year. The nearest town is 20 minutes by car, is pleasant and you can find markets, restaurants, pharmacy and bakeries. We love the stay, a lot of peace. Thank you.

One of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in! Service was spotless! Mr. Nuno is very attentive, as is the rest of the family. I was only there for one day, but I felt welcomed as part of the Espedrada village family. A village with a lot of history and a lot of culture. The accommodation itself is very good and well worth it. If you have any doubts about accommodation in Guarda, come to Casa Jurada. 5 Stars!
