Holiday rentals with a kayak in Tornado Alley

We had a great time. The house was the perfect size for us. The view of the lake was very beautiful. Sandy was amazing to work with and answered all of our questions about the area and places to eat.

The Firefly A-frame is cozy, well thought out, and the hosts are very communicative and responsive! We were here for the weekend and appreciated the small touches in the home – from local coffee beans and instructions for the french press or pour over, to a basket with treats, bowls, and a blanket for our pup! If you're looking to spend time in Granbury, this is a convenient spot.

Great location within walking distance to town! Beautiful waterfront views and had all the amenities needed to have a wonderful stay!

Beautiful lakehouse! Just a walk away from the lake and the amount of windows in the house makes it such an amazing scene. We will definitely be back and will definitely recommend to others.

The house was cozy and felt like home for a couple days. Many activities to do like swimming, kayaking, etc.. Access and checkout instructions were clear and simple. Host was very friendly and responsive when I had a couple questions. Would recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful time during our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet and convenient. We’re really grateful for the warm hospitality and understanding during our visit—as a surviving spouse during this particular time of year it made a big difference. Christy was wonderful! Always replied quickly and was quite helpful! We had a great time getting to spend time with family! The recent rain made fishing nonexistent, which was one of our main draws for the home! We even tried fishing at the old marina area and still no luck! Just too much rain. But we did get to have a lot of fun experiences with the kayaks and paddle boards our kids loved it! Great couch to fit us all on at the end of the day! Lots of stairs to the lake! There is no way to make the floors upstairs especially the bathroom less squeaky…. So if you have children make sure to have a fan or sound machine. Great little home and great host!

We were lucky enough to book this beautiful water front property last minute due to some hiccups with another rental we had reservations for. Host was very responsive and got us taken care of with amazing swift response time. The house was amazing and stunning all around. Very zen and quiet just what me and my partner were looking for this weekend. Amazing view of the lake and over all just a great experience. We will definitely be back! This place was exactly as described! It was so peaceful and fairly isolated at the end of a road. I only stayed for two nights but wish I could have stayed a week. Surrounded by the sounds of nature, with a nice view of the stars and hills.. it was definitely a nice place to get away from the fast pace of the city. And they have everything you need to have a fun and enjoyable stay. The hosts were amazing and I can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time and loved this spot so much! Kristi was amazing with any questions and the house was fully stocked with whatever we needed. Outside the lake was wonderful with kayaks and rafts to keep you busy for days. We will definitely be booking again. We enjoyed every minute of it!

It was a beautiful place! So nice to wake up and see the sun from the living reflecting off of the lake! Very pretty!

We've stayed at Hidden Pearl multiple times, and it has become one of our favorite spots to get away as a couple. Diane is always so hospitable and friendly. The place and surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful. We'll be back again!

The Lazy River cabin was a perfect little getaway for my daughter and I. Pros: It was spotless, comfortable, quiet, peaceful, kayaking was fun, fire pit was great, everything was exactly as described. The location was perfect- secluded, but still very close to Waco and all it has to offer. Cons: No smart TV and the dish didn’t work, the ladder to get upstairs would be difficult for older people and impossible for someone with physical limitations.

We had a great 4 night stay at this beautiful lake house. It is a very active lake. Lots to do. We enjoyed. Boating to the restaurant great food. Close to everything. Awesome host. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy lake. Life. 🦆🐟💧🦀🎣

Diana’s cottage was a great cozy place on the lake. Lots of wildlife, cozy and quiet as expected. We will definitely be back.

The cabin is very rustic and.perfect for our large family. The River was a perfect height and the kids kayaked, fished and swam. We sat aroundvthe firepit and roasted marshmellows and had smores. The cabin has a washer and dryer and amenities that would make one feel at home.

Enjoyed our stay at Cindy's Cabin. It was a short drive from Kansas City, the last couple miles are on gravel roads. There was enough room in the driveway to park my truck and jetski. A boat would be too tight to fit. The layout of the cabin is very nice, it spans three levels with a few steps connecting each. There are plenty of comfortable seating options and is nicely decorated. The bathroom is spacious and clean. Really appreciate the large windows that overlook the backyard. We were able to use the gas grill (under a lean to, which provides cover if it rains) and jacuzzi tub (equipped with an assist for the large cover making it easy to take off & on). It's a short walk to the water's edge. The trail is clearly defined, although muddy if rainy. I would recommend this cabin to all.

The cabin is great - secluded and right next to the river; awesome for exploring. The cabin was clean and perfect for people looking to enjoy each other’s company. Christine is very responsive and was very friendly. 10/10 recommend.

If you like outdoors, country living and fishing, it’s the place to be. Kayaks provide and some great fishing, included with a private beach. The location and environment make you feel like you are not in Kansas anymore. Extremely quiet and secluded, only 20 minutes from civilization.

Wonderful home, beautiful view, fabulous hosts, peaceful surroundings….running out of adjectives!!! I highly recommend this gorgeous vacation home! My family and I spent our Christmas vacation here and had a blast…the hosts had decorated the lodge with Christmas lights, a decorated tree, and lots of Christmas spirit throughout the house. Everything was perfect! Again, thank you for sharing your home with us!

First of all, in the full extension of the word, a nice place to spend it with family or friends and create beautiful memories, Tresa is a nice person, she helped us a lot to make our stay pleasant, Tresa is a person who shows a lot of interest in making one feel very good and comfortable, we just loved it and we will return soon, thank you for everything 🙏🏽🏕️❤️

We had an amazing time here. I can’t recommend this place enough for a peaceful getaway. Carol has thought of everything. Everything is at your disposal plus she has a little shop with quick bites and drinks if you don’t want to leave the property. Highly recommend a stay here. We plan to come back and rent all 3 houses for a family reunion.
