We had the most wonderful time at Jubilee Lodge – a real gem! The lodge itself is beautifully light, airy, and impeccably comfortable, with every little detail thought of to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. As a family of five, we felt completely at home. Cheryl was the perfect host – warm, welcoming, and full of fantastic local suggestions. Her kindness really made our experience even more special. The absolute highlight for us was the hot tub – soaking before and after a day exploring was pure bliss. And the view… just breathtaking! Acres of rolling landscape as far as the eye can see – a rare and peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Jubilee Lodge is a special place that we feel so lucky to have found. We’ll definitely be back – thank you, Cheryl, for a truly memorable stay!

This was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We felt right at home. The property was warm and welcoming and very well equipped. We brought some extra things with us for cooking but there was no need as everything was already there. We loved the property's beach/sea theme and the welcome tray was a lovely surprise after our long journey. We would definitely recommend a visit!

Stayed here as a family of 5 and we had a lovely time. Very peaceful, private, spacious and the hot tub was a hit! I would highly recommend if you're visiting the area.

We had a great time. The lodge is clean and relatively modern. There is an open plan lounge, diner and kitchen, two twin bedrooms (which look identical in the photos!), a bathroom, plus a large double room with en-suite shower. There's a wood-burning stove, a washing machine (but no dryer; there are towel rails though) and central heating. The fridge has a small freezer section. WiFi is provided by a mobile router, which is fine for social media browsing and music streaming but won't handle video reliably. There's a site manager who checks the hot tub and is available to help with anything else. The hot tub is superb and is managed automatically - you don't need to do anything, it heats up by itself and is ready from 4pm or earlier to at least 8pm every day. The view of the countryside from the lounge/diner and hot tub is amazing.

The cabin was lovely just a couple of things in bathroom lots of mould round the top and bottom of bath silicon and grout and toilet seat didn’t fit…. A suggestion if no longer supplying towels as shown in pictures let customers know in written description

The lakeside lodge was brilliant - lovely spot, private and in a peaceful location. We used it as a spot to drive around and visit nearby towns & villages from which was great. The place is just like the photos, nice and clean, all the amenities listed are included and the hot tub was great too. We stayed for a couple of nights but could have easily stayed longer. The only thing that caught us out was lack of towels (this is our own fault though as it’s clearly listed!). Overall would definitely recommend this place and would stay again!

We absolutely loved our last minute stay at Riverside Lodge. Carey was an incredibly responsive host full of information and recommendations that helped us greatly with our stay! It was smooth from check-in to check-out, beautifully peaceful, well kept and homely. We had everything we needed for our short stay and with Carey’s instructions we had no issues finding the property at all. Lovely local walks, beautiful scenic surroundings, local food is fantastic (great recommendations from the host and a helpful welcome pack with places listed!) and the sound of the river the next to the property is so peaceful. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

Was exactly what we were after and expected. Nice quiet peaceful location away from the crowds. Accommodation was excellent.

What a magical place. The pictures don’t do it justice - everything from the homely space itself to the beautiful setting in the woods. The moors are so close, it was breathtaking. Even the local pub was a delight! Sarah’s place was super accommodating for our slightly neurotic terrier as feels private and the ease of being able to let yourself in meant no unnecessary barking! They even supplied a dog bed, bowl, towel and treats which was very sweet and meant we could travel light. I’d 100% come again and have already recommended to friends. Thanks so much!

Great location very close to woodland theme park & Blackpool sands beach by car. Great for families. Very spacious & clean cutlery, glasses, plates, towels etc all provided. Very nice decorative chalet. Rachel was very helpful & responsive.

lovley stay everything as described, absolutly charming place. You can even see heytor from the garden, stunning. Loads to do in area too. Our microwave stopped working and they came and replaced with a new one in less than 5 minuites. Only shame was the weather was so nice we didnt get a chance to use the wood burner. Faultless

Just home after a fab 4 days in this lodge. Great communication from owner, place was spotless, comfortable and well equipped, even dog bowls and a welcome pack were provided. Location was great to explore from, although to far to walk into Dartmouth, but only a 3 minute drive to the park and ride or 10 mins into centre of town. We thought it was great value for money and just what we needed for a few days away.

Lovely stay with the family and dog. Very peaceful, comfortable and spotless. Paul replied very quickly to a couple of queries I had. A little hard to find coming from the West and roads very narrow. However as a get away & somewhere quiet it was spot on.

Jodie came up trumps with this property with only 24 hours' notice following a midnight Airbnb cancellation. This saved the day for us as we were in Torbay to attend a close family member's funeral. We couldn't believe our luck; this place exceeded our expectations. It felt like home from home with all the finishing touches. Right down to Paddington being there to welcome us. We were a family of six adults, and there was more than adequate space for all. Two bathrooms are a plus. On my next visit to the Bay, hopefully under happier times, I will try to rebook with Jodie.

We are regulars at Devon Hills and have stayed at many lodges but this one was defo a favourite! Very clean and homely and set in a nice location on the park!

Wow, what an incredible stay! First and foremost, I have to give huge praise to the host—she was always incredibly responsive and beyond helpful with any questions or requests we had. From the very start, she went above and beyond to make our family weekend trip absolutely perfect. I honestly can’t thank her enough for her kindness, understanding, and dedication to making sure every detail was just right. The home itself was spotless and had such a warm, homely feel that we instantly felt comfortable. Our kids didn’t want to leave! The area was peaceful, the neighbours were lovely, and it was just a genuinely relaxing environment. Just a minute’s walk from the house, you get to enjoy stunning views and some lovely walking spots. There are also plenty of places nearby for kids to enjoy, especially if they love a beach setting. But again, I have to circle back to the host—she truly set the gold standard for what hospitality should be. She was an incredible host!! Thank u once again 😊

Katie had thought of everything we may need on a short break, even things we hadn't thought of! The place was clean and well furnished, with very comfortable beds and a great shower. The welcome hamper was appreciated.

Although surprised that it is located in a camping area with other bungalows, which we were not looking for ideally, it is very well arranged, the site is very quiet and it is well located for walking. We recommend the walk that leads to Agatha Christie's property. The merchants were friendly and welcoming. The Devon is very beautiful. We'll be back again. One week is too short! Hervé. Our stay at Harbour Heights met all our expectations and more! Would highly recommend, excellent value for money. Walk to harbour 20 to 25 minutes mostly flat until the last 5 minutes where last bit of walk is steep back to accommodation but this was not a problem! Would go as far as to stay one of the best accommodations we have stayed in. Tina and Steve

If you’re doubtful about booking then don’t be ! We arrived to a spotlessly clean bungalow, yes it’s smallish but it’s cosy and has everything you need. The window seat was my fav loved sitting in there getting the sunshine from about 11am to early evening. The outside space is ideal for al fresco eating and location at the top of the park is perfect and views are gorgeous . The kitchen has everything and more you need if you are catering for yourself even weigh scales and a toastie maker. Bedroom again is compact but the bed is sooo comfy and again spotless. Lots of games , dvds and books if you need them. We used the second bedroom as a dressing room. The site is so peaceful with lovely walks to the creek at the bottom of the lane and a visit to the national trust Greenway property well worth a visit ( Agatha Christie’s home) . Dartmouth, Brixham and Kingswear all easily accessible.
