Stayed at the Orange Door for a wedding at Hawthorne House. It was a 3 minute drive. Home had iron, ironing board, blow dryer, full length mirrors, and everything necessary to prepare for the wedding. Walking distance from a lot of cute shops downtown. Street Parking was very easy to find and available.

The house was exactly what this weary traveler needed. Great bed and Spectacular Shower Pressure made for an extra comfortable stay. The snacks and morning coffee you provided were very much appreciated. Don’t be scared off by location of train tracks. Once inside it’s a peaceful home away from home. Bravo 5 Stars.

We had a lovely stay. It's spacious, quiet, beautiful views, comfortable, and close enough to Lawrence for easy access.

Very responsive hosts who went out of their way to let us in a bit early as we came in on a red eye. The place has some wear and tear but was clean and comfortable. We only had 4, but could easily hold their 8 max. If I ever came with a group for a KU event, this would be perfect. Quick to downtown, campus, as well as the newer sections of town.

Everything was as described. In a quiet and friendly neighborhood with a nice park close by and close enough to all the major attractions we wanted to go to. The house was charming, comfortable and roomy enough for our small family. Amenities were great. Would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed as an extended family for a funeral. It happened to be a busy weekend in Lawrence and wound up being the perfect place.

We loved this house! It was the perfect weekend getaway for our crew. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool. It provided ample space and had all the details you could want, plus more. We hope to be back!

Our stay here was beyond excellent. John and Cora are so personable, helpful, friendly and accommodating that we can’t recommend this property and these hosts enough. We had two nights booked but found out a few days before our check-in that we needed to be in KC a day early. Cora and John allowed us to book that extra, earlier day and helped us with getting in and answered all our questions. The pool looked so inviting but we didn’t have a chance to swim this time. The location is a little piece of paradise. It was so quiet and private but close to everything. We loved the size of the casa as it felt safe and cozy, with all the needed amenities. Loved the washer and dryer so we could get a jump on laundry, as well as the full kitchen. The shower was great and water was hot. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in and so restful. The casa was clean and the towels were so fluffy and absorbent, no raggedy cast-offs here! The house was well stocked with all items. A+ Thank u

The home was a lovely spot for the first reunion of my 3 children and their families, and we had a delightful stay. The kitchen is well equipped. The "movie room" is cozy. The bedrooms are all comfortable, and the master suite is rock-star ready. It only needs a new grill and a pool scoop. Enjoy your stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The place was very homey and spacious for the kids. The weather wasn’t the best so we didn’t get to enjoy all of the amenities, but overall we had a wonderful experience.

Cleiton was proactive and responsible of his place. He was careful with me bc I’m brand new to all Airbnb apps; and this would be my 3rd time ever renting one. So, there was no reviews on the type of guest I am. Which I understand. I was getting married in loose park and needed an intimate family space that was beautiful and spacious for family wedding photos session and a family meal; Bc my home was under renovations. Cleiton allowed us to rent his space and we enjoyed every bit of his home! I’m a believer and his home had beautiful canvases and frames of inspiration and hope quotes. I took a picture of each . The beds were comfortable, the ambiences of the rooms was inviting and relaxing, he had fine dishes that accommodate an elegant big family. We didn’t get enough time to enjoy the home inside out! We never needed anything, but he made sure he gave us his contact information if so! The home is everything he claims and more! We were over satisfied!

My wife and I enjoy our peaceful and scenic stay. Matt was super helpful with a few inquiries I had. Wish the weather cooperated a little more but that’s Kansas.

We have stayed here before. It is a very handy location for getting to town and visiting with family in town. I love that it is very private and we have room to spread out. Any time I have texted Staci, she has responded right away. So glad to have found this place to stay!

Really nice place. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything was nice and updated. We were in town for Benedictine College graduation and it was a pleasant 30 minute drive away from BC.

Kelsey’s place was excellent for our stay. Super cute well put together extremely clean and extremely comfortable. Everything in this home is new. Kelsey is a great host. She responds quickly and check in with super easy, directions are clear there is not one negative aspect to this property. Home is located in a residential neighborhood. It’s very quiet and private.

Place is great, was very clean and well stocked. The HVAC is mini splits and worked great. Place has more space then the pictures show and there is plenty of parking. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking and making food. The place was super easy to navigate and use everything also plenty of parking. Would for sure stay there again. Thanks Levi
