Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Töölö, Helsinki

Upon arrival at the apartment, you will be greeted by a pleasant and calm host and wonderful soothing music will be playing upstairs. The apartment was wonderfully bright and the host showed us the premises. The luxurious sauna and shower area was one of the things we liked a lot. Although the apartment was rented with the idea of an inn, we still felt that we were left alone and our space was respected. We had good conversations with the host and overall this left a good and grateful feeling. I can highly recommend if you like bohemian and calming community, where you respect others and still have space to retreat to your own space.

Very nice house with garden, two bicycles and four to five beds. The widest bed is 1.40 m and then there are three narrow beds. There was probably not enough time between us and the previous guests to clean the floor. But I did that and it wasn't a problem. With a little more attention to detail (e.g. emptying and cleaning cupboards), the house is a gem. The sauna and the large bathroom downstairs next to a small, pretty fireplace room were particularly nice...

A beautiful and secluded location outside of Helsinki but just a 15min train to the centre of town. The perfect location to experience both the metropolitan and natural sides of Finland. We loved our stay, surrounded by snow and trees over Christmas. Eevamaria and her family has a Christmas tree setup for our stay which made it even more magical. The house has everything you could need and was perfect for our group of 6 people. Eevamaria was incredibly proactive at providing instructions and answering our questions before and throughout the stay. Would highly recommend!

Very nice house, which is perhaps even better live than in the pics. In addition, Jari is a very polite and friendly host. The entire group of ours was very pleased with everything. I can warmly recommend the house and the host!

Nice appartement with kitchen, garden & sauna (1 usage included). We liked to sit outside in the evening and we enjoyed the sauna with wood fire a lot. Wifi worked fine. The hosts reacted fast and helpful to questions.

We had a great stay at Aleksi’s place! It was our first trip to Helsinki in a very long time and the location is great! Aleksi is an attentive and responsive host - his place is just clean, the location is quiet but conveniently close to the water with a great view and also the city centre. The apartment is spacious and cozy with everything we needed. Highly recommend if you are looking for a spot that’s scenic but walkable. Thank you for the great stay!

Clean and spacious studio in a quiet place, I recommend it!

Great location! The apartment is in the 3rd rear building and therefore very quiet. It was bigger than expected. Good beds, but there was hardly any space in the closet to store anything.

Wonderful apartment 30 min from the airport. very good amenities. I have a very pleasant stay and surely will be back!

We loved staying here. Ease of access to trams and buses was great, the apartment was beautiful and clean. The next time we’re in Helsinki, we will definitely be staying here. I cannot speak highly enough of this place.

While visiting his KESÄRANTA cottage, I was introduced to his new place in Nummela also. As well the Cottage, this place was just outstanding and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxation and made me feel welcomed. My own private room was beautiful and luxuriously furnaced. The lounge/breakfast room offered all I needed while staying, and the private bathroom was spotless. Remote working was peaceful, even the hosts were living in the same house. Evenings were so relaxing having traditional wooden heated sauna on my own and on top of my wish list I was able to enjoy the nicely heated small pool with calming music playing on the large terrace area. Morning serenity in the house was right way to start the day with the breakfast, and the espresso coffee made my remote working energetic. Breakfast and lunch was easy to get from local store, which was located in the same block. I felt lazy and ordered dinner from local restaurant and the delivery was fast and convenient. I highly recommend

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Antti's house. The location on a peninsula on the lake was spectacular - lake views on both sides of the house. The house itself was lovely - very clean, comfortable well equipped and tastefully decorated. Even better than the photos. We really appreciated all the outdoor games and played a lot of croquet and Frisbee golf - Antti even bought a football so the kids could play, they were thrilled. Antti was a fantastic host - so helpful and kind and gave us a tour when we arrived. The real stand out though was the lake. Majestic was the word my husband used to describe the view. So beautiful and we were watching it and in it every day swimming and on the paddleboards/ in the row boat. The sauna with lake views was great too. We hope to be back.

Jaako and his wife were superb hosts. I stayed in a historic wooden house with a fascinating history. It had been tastefully renovated while retaining its original features. The kitchen was absolutly fantastic too. Charging the rental Electric Vehicule was free of charge. The house is connected to the local government tap water system, which was superb!!! When I go back to visit Helsinki I will definitely try to rent this amazing place again. Although it's close to Helsinki, You feel like you're living in the countryside. Thanks!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying in this home. It was very spacious and ideal for our large group, with a well-stocked kitchen and everything else needed for a very comfortable stay. The owner was also terrific -- very prompt at all times getting back to us and very understanding and accommodating when we had a special request. I highly recommend it!

We were guests for a month with three children (under five) plus dog in Shingo's house and had a good time. The house has everything you could want for a relaxing stay. As described, the garden is not fenced, but the lake is a short walk away, so the kids are not immediately there, even if they go hiking. Of course, you have to look clearly and the dog could never run freely because the environment (also because of the active squirrels and neighboring cats and dogs) was too exciting for her. We just drove her to the fenced dog meadows from time to time. ;-)

Nice place, can accommodate a larger number of guests. The sauna was a little small, but we managed when some of us were in the hot tub/pool. A neat cottage and the necessary facilities were ready.
