We were blown away not only by how beautiful the property was but the fine attention to detail with the interior decor. An absolute gem of a place! The host was very friendly and helpful. We hope to plan another trip here soon.

We were greeted with a welcome card and a bottle of Finger Lakes riesling. The cottage is in a great location for exploring the area. We stayed for Cornell's graduation weekend and going to and from Ithaca took about 25 minutes. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked, and the bedrooms were spacious. The guys using the sofa bed said it was not the most comfortable but OK overall. The decor was really charming, and I wish we'd had some down time to read the books John and his co-hosts picked out. I highly recommend this property for a family or small group trip because of the convenient and beautiful location and homey amenities.

This home was absolutely perfect! Nestled in the forest of Binghamton, New York, it felt like a peaceful retreat while still offering all the modern comforts. The design of the house is stunning-clean, stylish, and thoughtfully laid out. Huge windows let in tons of natural light and beautiful views of the surrounding trees. Everything was spotless and well-equipped, from the cozy bedrooms to the sleek kitchen. It was the perfect mix of luxury and nature. What truly made our stay special was the kindness and responsiveness of the host. Salamon was incredibly welcoming and communicated everything clearly from start to finish, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. You can tell he really cares about his guests. We left feeling refreshed and already dreaming about our next visit. Highly recommend!

Andy was very responsive from booking to checkout! The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The backyard pool looked very well maintained too-we were disappointed we didn’t get a chance to use it. Would recommend Andy’s place.

This was our second stay here and it was even better than the first. They've added a restored Steinway baby grand piano to the house. If you play and haven't had the opportunity in a long time, or never, to play a baby grand, this would really put staying here over the top. I'm already looking forward to our next trip to the area and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else.

This place was beautiful and very inviting! Made us feel right at home. It had everything we needed. Host was friendly and accommodating! She made us feel very welcome. It was very spacious so we weren’t right on top of each other! Very peaceful. She also had lots of kid friendly activities! Definitely very family oriented! Would definitely recommend! 10/10!

This was by far one of our very favorite rental experiences. The host was incredibly thoughtful and welcoming, but beyond that, the house was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. There’s a great fire pit outside which we enjoyed both nights of our stay and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The house was cleaned to the highest standards. It was close to everything in Ithaca but far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful. We all agreed that we’d love to rent this house again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, Crystal!

We booked this home after changing our trip dates and losing the original house we rented. Boy, was it worth it!! The home is Beautiful! The views, natural light, huge master bathroom, and the most comfortable couch were just some of our favorite things. One of the bedrooms had kids' books and toys, and it was perfect for our 4-year-old daughter. The owners' communication with us was at its best! We look forward to returning next year!

Loved our stay at The Trestle House--was a cozy inviting home with everything we needed. Tammy was immediately responsive and flexible to our needs. We stayed for Cornell graduation 2025 and it was the perfect spot to easily go back and forth to campus for a quick change in between all the weekend activities, but also out of the congestion of downtown Ithaca. Brookton's Market was steps away and folks there were friendly and had all we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and the sitting area and bedrooms were comfy. Any elders best suited to stay on the main level as the stairs are sturdy, but they are steep and narrow. We loved our stay and will be our first choice for future trips to campus. Thank you Tammy!

Idyllic location & home for IC graduation weekend! This gorgeous dog-friendly property was picture perfect for our family! Kristina was a dream host and responsive when we had questions. Highly recommended- one of our favorite Airbnbs to date!

This is our second time staying at Cheryl's place. The accommodations are good for the price and the host is always responsive to questions. About a 15-20 minute drive to Ithaca College and a very private, quiet setting. There's even coffee there for the morning! Thanks for a great stay Cheryl!

Will's house was a jewel. Immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, with a relaxing closed in porch and a backyard area with a beautiful view of the river. Will kindly left us a box of homemade chocolate chip cookies and a vase of beautiful flowers. We chose the house because it was a 2-minute drive from the Museum of the Earth where we were attending an event. A way better option than a chain hotel.

First time in Ithica, and this was a great place to stay near downtown. We specifically wanted to be on the water, and this place delivered. Very cozy and comfortable house for our family. Looking to come back in the summer and bring our boat and take full advantage of the dock/lake.

The house was spotless and well kept. Beautifully decorated and restored. Brittany was a pleasure to deal with - instructions and communication were perfect. We stayed for 3 nights over Memorial Day as we were in Ithaca for Cornell graduation. Perfect location as it was under 2 miles from campus but away from the madness surrounding graduation. Views were beautiful. Could not have asked for a better Airbnb for our needs. A great place to stay and highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay in this very peaceful lakeside setting. There is an attached deck to the house, a lower level patio with table and firepit, and stairs to lake level, to accomodate all physical abilities in having an enjoyable time here. My girlfriend, dog and I had a great time staying at Amoreena's abode to see Ithaca and the surrounding areas. It is incredibly peaceful, and a great option for anyone taking a trip with their furry friends. I would 100% recommend staying here.

Shannan is a wonderful host who is kind and responsive. The house is cozy and comfortable and the yard hosts an impressive number of regular animal visitors which we found endlessly entertaining. A lovely and peaceful retreat.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home in Ithaca. Being so close to the lake offers excellent views of the water. In addition, you are a short drive from downtown Ithaca and can easily access many of its attractions. The home is also clean and the kitchen is well stocked. One thing to note is that the staircase to access the house is lengthy. We appreciated that the description included this detail so we could plan accordingly. Dominic was quickly responsive and overall a great host!

Perfect venue for a family occasion.

We stayed here for two nights while we attended a curling event hosted by the Finger Lakes Curling Club at the ice rink just down the road. The house was perfect for the four of us: two bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable living spaces. The house also included snacks (chips, chocolates, etc.) that were a welcome addition to its other amenities. Very happy with our stay!
