Awesome beach house. House was clean and very spacious. It is Inside a safe community with security and there is a local restaurant about a 10 minute walk away which you can order local food from which was delicious. Host was very helpful with any concerns and had great recommendations.

Great location. About 30 minutes to the beach, 2 hr drive to the volcano. However it was closed due to it being active when we were there. Rescate Wildlife Rescue was a nice last minute add to our trip. Great place to see local wildlife.

Our family stayed for ten nights as a home base to explore the Pacific side of Costa Rica. The pool was fantastic! I especially enjoyed the bottom pool that doubles as hot tub (when my kids weren't in the upper half splashing the cold water into it). The pool is very large with lots of space for splashing, and there is so much wildlife and bird-watching off of the amazing porch and decks. We were mesmerized by the scarlet macaws that flew by and sometimes roosted nearby. Being in the mountains, you are literally in the clouds. It was other-worldly when they rolled in most afternoons. So cool! Indoors: we utilized the kitchen quite frequently, making dinner every night. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies for cooking. The living area was very comfortable and great for watching TV together in the evening. Bathrooms and bedrooms were well-appointed with what we needed, and the washer/dryer was great to have, as we are light packers and did get muddy some days. Overall a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home tucked into the jungle. The setting is very serene, with the sound of the river always in the background and the plethora of wildlife all around. The bed was very comfy, so a good nights rest was practically guaranteed. There are a few things I would note for anyone considering the home, especially if this is your first visit to the area. It is a 10+ minute rocky drive to the home off the main road, not a big deal with a sturdy car. Especially during rainy season, there’s a good chance you’ll lose power at some point, but seems to be restored quickly. Most places, including this home, discouraged you from flushing toilet paper, an adjustment from home. Being that this place is so small, there’s not a ton of privacy between the bathroom and bedroom, and the living area is not meant for lounging. That’s what the outdoor spaces are for! This was an experience unlike any other we’ve had in our previous visits to CR, I highly recommend it!

I just want to start off and say that this is the best house that I’ve ever booked a vacation at the people that owned The house are literally amazing and so helpful. The location is so beautiful. Everything is so clean and organized. The air conditioner works amazing Too with the heat they literally booked all of our excursions and picked us up from the house Was always so patient with us and literally made our trip so amazing I will definitely come back worth every penny I had the best birthday ever and the views and the pool was so amazing 100000/10 recommend this house to anyone looking To come to Costa Rica !!!!😍

Such a great property with relaxing and beautiful views. Got a chance to see lots of different birds and butterflies right on the property even heard some monkeys but they were far away. Over all a great place to stay if you just want to get away and be around nature

Kathy was responsive and helpful. Check in was easy and flexible. Beautiful home, beautiful location, private, quiet area, the ocean was warm, the pool was refreshing and we played in it for hours. Grocery store is about 25-30 minutes drive away. If we come back to Costa Rica, it will be at Kathy’s place again.

We stayed at the house for two days, It was very comfortable. We loved the open floor plan and it’s close to the airport.

Our stay here was amazing! Chris and Hollie were extremely responsive throughout our entire stay and provided great recommendations for local restaurants, activities, etc. We highly recommend a 4x4 if available for the drive and enjoyed the scenic views along the trip up the mountain. The house is perfectly designed with modern features and everything you need to ensure you feel right at home. The back porch was incredible for morning coffee and enjoying the views of the beach and jungle, while listening and seeing the wildlife surrounding us. We were extremely comfortable during our stay and enjoyed opening up the doors at night to let the cool ocean breeze pass through. What makes this place extra special is Chris and Hollie. We enjoyed getting to know more about them, the property, their vision for future projects, and you can see their genuine joy for hosting guests. They were readily available when asking questions and made sure we were comfortable. Thank you for a great trip!

This is such a beautiful, comfortable, and clean home with wonderful views. We spent 6 nights exploring Atenas, and this home is convenient to town and several other attractions. The hostess has a book for guests with great suggestions for what to do and see while in Atenas.

Casa Baru is a beautiful home and a perfect location for accessing the beach and many great restaurants. When we walked in the door my kids said, “This looks like a celebrity’s house!”. The outdoor space is beautiful and serene and indoors is spacious and comfortable. Juan was super responsive to any questions we had and he had great local recommendations for restaurants. I highly recommend this beautiful home and Juan as a host!

My family and I enjoyed the place very much! It is insanely beautiful, house decor is so unique and very comfortable and friendly people! The only one thing I would say is that in the House photos looks like there’s rooms outside however those are extra cabins in the same property(reserved separately) This home is only 3 Bedrooms, each bedroom has a bathroom which is so nice!

This place was amazing! Really enjoyed the upstairs bedroom and plunge pool. Very local and close to everything in Jaco so we could walk everywhere. Could not figure out how to get the little stove top to work but that was very minor. Everything else was great.

Beautiful place with a great view. Tucked neatly on a sea side cliff with sound of calming waves to wake up to everyday. Great view, Great pool and patio with bbq options, Extra patio with views of the Pacific, Plenty of space and my kids loved the pool. Waves do get rough in the nearby beach so pool is a great alternative. You dont need go to a park to see wildlife when you have it all around you. I saw so many birds I have never seen in my life. Host is very responsive and friendly. Check in is easy. Beach is very clean. Not many cons to list to be honest but a couple things to be aware of - House is deep inside a community/club called Punta Leones and is far from the main road and also gated with security so no food delivery or taxis. - Beach is closeby but you have to walk down and uphill (pretty steep climb) and the club wont let you use their water if you need a shower after beach. Staff there is pretty annoying and chase you arnd to make sure you arent using their water.

We had a group of 7 and felt we had privacy yet the air conditioned common area was great to meet as a group in the heat of the day. The pool was relaxing. The outdoor patio was great for lounging out of the sun. The caretakers, Alberto and Marlen, were friendly and helpful at every stage, opening the gate quickly and keeping the grounds looking great. The recommended guide, Arturo, was wonderful and we used him 4 times. He was attentive to our needs and catered the tours to our diverse physical needs and desires.

La Perla was exactly as described. The furnishings were great quality, clean and comfortable. You can tell the host, Megan takes great pride in the rental she offers we took advantage of Megan's concierge service and her tour company offerings the whole week and she did not disappoint. Megan was always responsive. She was able to offer timely recommendations for restaurants and attractions, even offering to make reservations for our group of nine. The pool and outdoor grill area were awesome for nights we didnt go out to eat. The outdoor area was clean with comfortable furnishings and plenty of pool/beach towels. The property came with 4 bikes/beach cruisers. The kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need to cook and also had basic staples. Megan also provided various kinds of wine and alcohol we could purchase from her. Super convenient if you just want a drink and a dip in the pool as soon as you arrive.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Roja! Scott was a great host and very communicative. The house is in a perfect location with a wonderful semi-private beach just a few minutes drive down the road - this ended up being a highlight of our trip! There was a resident family of capuchin monkeys right outside the open air living room which my kids loved. The home was right near the Manuel Antonio Park entrance and the concierge Wai was very helpful setting up our guided tour in advance of our stay. The wildlife at Manuel Antonio was incredible - within an hour we saw sloths, monkeys, frogs, lizards, snakes, toucans and scarlet macaws. There are lots of fun restaurants within walking distance of the house with amazing ocean views (however we found it easier to drive with 2 kids, and parking was easy to find). It was great to have a washer/dryer and daily housekeeping - the house was spotless and very well maintained. Overall we had an amazing trip!

Gorgeous, light-filled, well-stocked place! We loved every minute of our stay. The pool was definitely a major highlight. Comfy beds.

The house is beautiful and super large, very equipped kitchen for cooking, the whole house was very clean. Mr. Juan Luis who welcomed us is super friendly and attentive. The pool is big and clean. The whole garden is very well cared for... Super recommended the place... There is a lot of peace. Zero noises... 1000%

I can't say enough good things about the rental property and the Two Costa Rica Vacation staff. Jorge, our primary contact was FANTASTIC!!! He was responsive and easy to reach with any issues/questions/scheduling needs. The house and property were top notch. We were only there for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer.

Lovely place. As someone who used to live in Atenas I can’t imagine a better place to stay and experience it. Beautiful views, great pool and porch, big bedroom, hot water, and everything is spotless. Edward is a good guy and leaves you a paper with everything you need - contacts for taxis, restaurant recommendations, etc. He knows the area well anything you need just text him. I can’t wait to come back. Thanks Edward!

A beautiful and very comfortable house, we loved the place, the attention and willingness of the host to answer questions and be aware of everything. The bottle of wine was a very special touch. Highly recommended and we hope to return soon.

This Airbnb is absolutely magical. The views are stunning and Victoria is such a gracious host. She and her husband went out of their way to make me feel at home and make sure I was getting full use of the amenities. Everything was so comfortable and thoughtful. And their property has some of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen! Couldn’t recommend more!
