Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Tioga County

This place is truly unique. It's a get away space for musicians who share it when they aren't using it. The place has been built up and settled in. It's gorgeous, the location and the barn architecture. But it's not uptight. It feels like late 60s - early 70s rock and roll, or like classic country music. Maddy's family has a phenomenal record collection and the stereo sounds SO good. The albums we brought came to life there. There's also an excellent book collection, lots of rock and music stuff but also philosophy, literature, eco books, and classic kids book (lots of kids books and a massive toy trunk with toys for kids of all ages!). The kitchen has got pretty much everything you need, and all the basic amenities and appliances. Around about are lots of area lamps, interesting hangings, colored glass, rugs, throws, and well cared for house plants. Finally, the pond and field have not been chemical killed. So, there are lots of birds, frogs, fish, and nests.

We stayed at Virginia’s for my daughter’s graduation from Cornell. Although it was a bit of a drive it was well worth it! We had plenty of room for all of the extended family to stay with us, it was a great space for hosting a small gathering with her friends, and Virginia was an amazing host who even surprised us with something special for my daughter for her graduation! I highly recommend her place and if I ever returned to the area, I would absolutely stay here again. When we weren’t doing graduation activities up in Ithaca we really enjoyed hanging out in the house playing the video games sitting on the deck and eating together as a family at the large dining room table. I cannot say enough great things about the place or the host! It was a perfect place to stay for my daughter‘s graduation!

Daura’s home is in a beautiful natural setting and offers many amenities. You feel like you are far from downtown Ithaca-but you aren’t. 100% recommended!

Lowell’s place was absolutely perfect !! Pictures do not do the house or property justice. This is certainly our new go to place to stay when visiting friends in Newark Valley. Thank you Lowell

If you are a nature-lover and like privacy, this is the place for you. We saw deer everyday and walked on trails with beautiful views. Bobbi was always available and kept us informed. We were so close to the state parks and finger lakes, as well as, places to eat. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Bobbi!

Really enjoyed our time at Kristina’s place! Just about 10 minutes outside of Ithaca it made for the perfect hub to see all the sites the area has to offer. We particularly enjoyed Taughannock Falls and East Ithaca’s recreation trail (both stroller accessible). Food in the area was also amazing - highly recommend CDMX tacos and Maru Ramen as well at CBT/Ithaca Bakery! As far as the rental, we had our 8 month old son and two dogs along for the trip. Kristina had a high chair, tub and crib available for use! We didn’t end up using the crib, but the high chair and tub were extremely useful and made life much easier while we were there! Couch was very comfy after a day of exploring! Big back yard also made our two dogs very happy! Highly recommend Kristina’s place!

This is my 3rd summer staying at the house and it’s always perfect. The home is inviting and comfortable and perfect for what we need. It’s located in a great location for anywhere we need to go in Ithaca and we are so happy we found this house back in 2023 because we’ve never been disappointed. Thanks again for everything!

Jenn and Dean’s place was everything I could ask for in an Airbnb. Kind and communicative hosts, perfectly clean, comfortable, matched the description exactly, well appointed and in a really beautiful location. Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Brandon's place is a lovely home, full of details, books, and comfort. Lots of space, places to sit and read, or watch the big TV. Great kitchen with goodies and snacks. This is the second time I've stayed there for work in Elmira. I only wish I was staying to enjoy the area.

Christopher's place in a very convenient spot for us to visit friends in the area. We so fortunate that he was able to host last minute and was very responsive. As others have mentioned the bathroom is a bit small if you have a family member with broad shoulders but not a deal breaker. It was so nice that they had such a beautiful landscape and trails in their back yard for our puppy to go on a walk. Would stay again.

We were in the Ithaca/Newfield area for a wedding and did not want downtown Ithaca. This was 5 minute drive from wedding location and only 10 minutes into Ithaca. Ideal for us. It was clean, all the comnforts of home and Dan & Jackie were so responsive to any questions we had.

Absolutely fantastic place. Sarah provided a number of great recommendations for our stay that were very helpful. The space was clean, well stocked and provided everything that we could need during our stay. She was quick to respond with answers to questions as well. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to others- :)

We originally booked Arnaud's because we were planning on traveling with our dogs. Last minute plan changes meant it would just be my son and I, but the dogs would have loved it here. The back gardens and space were lovely. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including fresh eggs! And it was convenient for our baseball tournament in Cortland.

I was looking for a place to stay for a long weekend of distressing and relaxation and Brent's place was the perfect choice. The place was cozy, homey and quiet, and I was utterly blown away by how extensively stocked the kitchen was in regards to pots, pans and other cooking odds and ends (not too many places that would allow me to whip up a bundt cake if I'd felt like it)! If I'm in the region again, I'd definately look into a repeat stay.

The place was great and made our visit to Ithaca exceptional. Having spent 4 years in Ithaca many years ago, I knew Lake Cayuga was the only place to stay in summer. We used Alison's kayaks every morning to paddle around the lake. The one bathroom created an opportunity for the family to develop unexpected closeness.

Really well-set-up space with little touches that make it feel more like a hotel than your average airbnb, like toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, eye masks, among tons others. Very clean, kitchen was more stocked than we expected, and despite being in the hosts’ basement technically, there was a lot of light! Clear checkin process and hosts were friendly and communicative. Would recommend.

We had 8 family members up for our son's graduation from Syracuse University and Amy's place was perfect for us. Plenty of space, clean and neat, VERY comfortable beds, all linens and towels included. Came in on a cold, rainy Friday afternoon and were very appreciative of her gas fireplace that quickly warmed the condo. Also liked that there were individual heat settings for each bedroom for everyone's individual tastes. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathrooms were clean and updated. Highly recommend!

Location location location!!! Walked to ski. No lines, no parking, loved it. If you value convenience over modern decor, this is THE place to stay at GP.

The interior decorating, design, construction and the stocking of the space with super useful items was excellent. We appreciated the attention to detail and will stay here again.

Nancy’s Cortland place was perfect for my needs. Brought my 2 Goldendoodles. Cute cabin in a nice area. Asked Nancy about checking in early and she said no problem! Was also able to checkout a little later. Having that extra flexibility is so nice. Cortland is really cute and I would go back!

This spot was incredible! The pictures are accurate but can’t quite do the space justice. We had a range of weather during our stay in early March- super sunny & cold, snowy, grey and rainy- but no matter the weather it felt so welcoming to sit in the living room looking out at the slopes. I only had my partner & my dog for this stay, but there’s plenty of space to bring friends & family. The proximity to the mountains both visually and walk or shuttle wise is perfect. Maybe random, but a touch I loved was the quality of the pots and pans included in the space. This will be saved and shared- such a gem of a place! Thank you, Breeana & Family 🎿🏂🐺

This was a repeat visit and another great experience! The apartment was perfect, super convenient to our events and we again appreciated the convenience and excellent fare of the Rye and the Garage restaurants. THE place to stay in Elmira!
