Lake Vättern is 5mins by bike. The wooden town of Hjo is located on Lake Vättern between Gothenburg & Stockholm. The city structure is almost exactly the same as in medieval times. The steamship S/S Trafik is one of the oldest in Sweden going on regular trips to Visingsö. Tivedin National Park is 45mins.
