Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Thuringian Forest

We were two with our dog for a week in the accommodation of Beatrix and felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, beautifully furnished and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are directly on the property. This took a bit of nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her that the goats were not to be eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

A beautiful place to relax & discover. Upon arrival, we were greeted on the terrace by a curious, trusting fire salamander. The cottage is very cozy with a lot of attention to detail and you immediately feel comfortable - everything you need is there. A big thank you to Katharina for the warm hospitality. The place was very clean and just right for all the people. Nearby are various restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. If you feel the wanderlust, this is also a good starting point. The huge couch and fireplace invite you to chat and the kitchen is superbly equipped. There are enough beds available even if the climb to the top takes some getting used to. But all in all very cozy and modern. We enjoyed the time together very much and can highly recommend Nicole's place.

This is a wonderful place for a few relaxing days. The house was clean, beautiful and had everything you need. The outdoor shower and the view were simply fantastic! Anne was so nice and responded to my messages so quickly! I can only recommend a stay here. Thank you Anne!

An absolute oasis of well-being <3 My girlfriends and I stayed here for a girls weekend. We wanted to relax, relax and just be to ourselves - it was really just perfect. The house is like a warm hug that invites you to let go and we immediately felt at home. There is enough space for 6 people, the conservatory is a dream and the terrace and garden offer enough space to relax. The sauna is of course a beautiful bonus, overlooking nature. And the fireplace creates a very pleasant feel-good atmosphere. The location is wonderful if you are looking for peace and nature and want to get away from it all. Everything you need is there and communication with Christian worked smoothly. A definitive recommendation <3

The accommodation was furnished with a lot of love. Anke was always available. She was very keen to meet our expectations. She did it. The accommodation is very quiet but still central. We had a very relaxing short break. The pub, which is within walking distance, was able to convince with home-style cuisine and great service. Overall, I would gladly come back.

I couldn’t recommend more Svenjas plece! It was amazing, the place itself very spacious. It has everything you need for. She hosted as we were at home. We visited with our little one and our dog and we fledged like at home! Definitely would come back again!! Thanks!!

We had booked the place for a JGA with 13 people and were totally thrilled. The pictures don't even come across in the beginning, we are huge the house and also the garden. We had more than enough space to eat, get together and sleep. Since we had a chef in the group with us, the industrial kitchen could be used optimally. Again, there was no lack of amenities and cleanliness. The area offers enough opportunities for nice day trips and also a Rewe can be reached by car in 2 minutes. It was an all-round successful weekend, absolutely recommended!

The apartment was really nice and very clean, we immediately felt comfortable there. The decor was modern and well maintained, and there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Only note: It would be helpful to mention in the description that the pool can only be used in summer. Otherwise, everything was great – happy to come back!

We spent very pleasant days. The house was perfectly furnished, we lacked nothing. Balcony and living room offer a beautiful south view of the meadows and fields in front of the house. The quiet location in the small village invites you to take small and large hikes. If you get in the car, you can reach the well-known sights of the Rhön in 10 to 30 minutes, such as the Milsburg, the Wasserkuppe, the black moor, Bishofsheim and the Gangolfsberg. We were guests at Thorben and Christina's time as guests of Thorben and Christina and it was once again very relaxed and beautiful in Machtlos. The place is cozy and nothing is missing. Our dogs also arrived quickly and we were able to enjoy the vacation very much. We'd love to come back! :-)

Beautiful, clean accommodation. Definitely keeps everything it promises. Even the campsite between the lake and the accommodation did not bother us at all - everyone was very friendly and quiet.

Fantastic location! Unfortunately, we were only there one night. The surroundings are simply wonderful. In the apartment, I felt a bit like in a mountain cabin, which I liked very much. A good choice in the area. Communication with Michael was very friendly and straightforward.

In addition, the butcher across the street is highly recommended. Overall a beautiful place with great past.

We were very kindly greeted in person and received a short briefing. The location of the accommodation is very quiet, right by the forest, ideal for hiking from there. My daughter was thrilled with the giant swing that hung in the tree. I thought it was great that we got the spa cards, which give you a lot of discounts, right on arrival and didn't have to take care of them ourselves. An exceptional service! Everything important was available in the apartment. Very modern furnishings, chic bathroom. Parking directly in front of the house. Completely uncomplicated check-out. Host available at any time. Overall very good value for money.

The stay was great, we felt very comfortable! It is a bit cold in the lock, but it could be heated in all rooms with a fireplace and there were hot water bottles :-) Really an absolute oasis of well-being. The garden with grill and fireplace is amazing and great for cozy campfire evenings :-)

Everything was great, I recommend the apartment! The only nuance is the refrigerator without a freezer, it may be important for someone if you book for a long time)

We spent an extended weekend with our dog at Wilma's and were super satisfied. We felt very comfortable in Wilma's special, lovingly furnished house and spent relaxed and slow days. We especially liked the proximity to nature with the dog, the surroundings are really tranquil and there are great walking paths. Beautiful accommodation that invites you to relax. You have everything you need and both the rooms themselves and the equipment is very well maintained and clean. The contact with Carolin was always friendly and accommodating. Even before arrival, she sent us a lot of information and recommendations and she responded quickly and kindly to questions or concerns during the stay. The location is perfect for hiking and there is always something to see in the surrounding areas. We were very enthusiastic and would be happy to come back.
