Came here with 2 of my friends, incredible spot if you are looking to be close to beautiful mountains and hikes , we were about 15 minutes from major towns and grocery stores, woke up to the lake and Mountain View which was awesome! The spot itself did exactly what we needed, we kayaked caught some trout and had a good spot to sleep every night . Only thing I would change is the futon pull out couches are not the comfiest, we are in our 20s so we were perfectly fine. 10/10 would stay here again

Maxine and Mike were wonderful hosts! They were clear and communicative throughout the stay and made sure we were comfortable. The cabin had the best scenery and felt like a private getaway, would highly recommend their cabin if you’re looking for a cozy stay in Monroe.

Could not have dreamed of a better place to spend the weekend. Cute, clean and cozy house. Very friendly hosts right from the get go and very well organized who will make sure you are comfortable and you have access to anything you need. The animals were a great touch. The pups are the friendliest you’ll meet and are very well trained so they will very quickly and easily understand if you ask them to stay outside. The other animals are also very respectful and will stay away if you’d like them to. Overall I highly recommend the hosts and their rental and would book with them again in the future without any concerns.
