Benny was great at getting in touch and helping with questions before we traveled. On arrival, Benny had told us we would be met at the airport and given guidance on how to get to the property which all went smoothly. The property was in an amazing location, and was generally clean and tidy, with everything working. The property is fairly basic and functional , but we didn’t mind that. Some updates of beach chairs, and a few other tweaks wouldn’t go amiss. Benny’s advice about car hire and restaurants was extremely helpful. Both he and Mike were in touch during our stay to offer help if it was needed. On checking out, we couldn’t locate the bin area so didn’t quite know where to leave the rubbish. We would definitely consider coming back as overall, the balance of location, spec of the property and the price were spot on for our family holiday in late May. Many thanks to Benny, Mike and Jacques for their part in our wonderful family holiday.

A magical place we’ll never forget! This house was everything we hoped for and more. Beautifully restored with so much character — the stone walls, wooden beams, and cozy decor made it feel like a true island home. We loved sitting on the big veranda with our morning tea, listening to the sounds of nature, and watching the sun move across the sky. The place was spotless and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches everywhere. The upstairs bedroom was a peaceful little retreat. The location is perfect — quiet and private, yet close to Skopelos town and beaches. We left with wonderful memories and would happily come back again. Thank you for everything!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful property! Kostas was an exceptional host—warmhearted, kind, and incredibly welcoming. He greeted our fairly large group of 22 people, including 10 children aged 2 to 12, with genuine hospitality. The house was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped—at no point did we feel we were lacking anything. It was impeccably clean, and every detail in the interior felt carefully chosen, with a lovely respect for tradition. We especially appreciated the attentive hosting, the stunning terrace and garden, and the direct access to a charming little beach a few steps away. Overall, it was a wonderful, home-like experience in a very child-friendly setting and magnificent landscape. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing time in Portaria at Katerina and Emilios's beautiful home. They were such gracious hosts, and made us feel welcome immediately. The view from the house is breathtaking - really one-of-a-kind. The house itself is extremely charming. The rooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen had so many small touches, like walnuts/fruits/milk that made us feel welcome. An incredible place to come back to after touring the Pelion region during the days. Highly recommend!

Το σπίτι είναι πάρα πολύ προσεγμένο, νεόδμητο, πολύ καθαρό, σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, με τέλεια θέα και ησυχία. Είναι ιδανικό για ήρεμες διακοπές και ορμητήριο για εξερεύνηση του Πηλίου. Όλα ήταν τέλεια!

This place was everything we hoped for and more. The house was spotless, cozy, and had every little thing we needed. The location was peaceful and beautiful—just a short drive from the sea but tucked away in nature. What truly made it special, though, was the host. Warm, helpful, and genuinely kind—Greek hospitality at its finest. You don’t just stay here; you feel cared for. We left with smiles, full hearts, and unforgettable memories. Can’t wait to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay. Very comfortable beds and pillows. We felt like we were visiting a Greek grandmother. This was a very peaceful and relaxing space. Nice place and view to have coffee in the morning and sit outside during the evening. Great location to see Meteora and visit the towns. Plus lots of space for the kids to play.

Our two families had a perfect stay! We especially enjoyed the pool and sitting area very much. Were greeted on arrival and everything explained perfectly together with local tips. If we had a question the host was always there for us. Explored the surrounding area, local village festival and also had some nice dinner experiences not far from the village. The house was just perfect and very roomy, air conditioned and so clean! Would love to go again soon!

Yani & Effie are great and helpful, the rooms are perfect as seen in the photos, comfortable and they keep it super clean. We enjoyed this private place near vineyards a lot. Quite easy to access to nearby beaches by driving. There is nothing around to disrupt your comfort. Also the sky is great to watch at nights, so many stars 🌟 Absolutely recommended 👍🏼

Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist top, wenn man ein paar schöne Tage in Kala nera haben möchte. Mit dem Auto ist es nicht weit bis volos und auch ein paar Strände im Pelion sind von dort mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation lief reibungslos. Alles super!

We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The location is stunning with views over the mountains, the outdoor space is beautiful with an outdoor kitchen area that we really enjoyed. Inside every detail was thought about to make our stay a real home from home. We will be coming back again for sure! Cherry was so friendly and helpful with local advice and arranging things for us and checking on the ferry status. All just wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay as a family of four at Despina’s villa. We initially had trouble finding it, as the gps decided to stop working, but on calling, Despina came out and collected us from the local supermarket and we followed her to the villa. I think the villa is even better than described! It is immaculately clean and tidy. Everything is thought of and available to you from condiments to beauty products and an abundance of clean towels, pool towels, bedding etc. Our host dropped by twice during our week there with treats for us and our two young girls which were greatly received- thank you! The outdoor space is beautiful too. Enough loungers and chairs for everyone, a bbq, outdoor dining area and outdoor shower along with washing machine and dryer. I can honestly say we didn’t want for anything where the villa was concerned- it’s all catered for! We had a wonderful stay and have already recommended Despina’s place to family and friends! Thank you for a great week!

Wir verbrachten eine Woche in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft und der Abschied ist uns wirklich schwer gefallen. Es war mit Abstand der schönste Urlaub den ich je hatte. Die Unterkunft ist auf einem ruhigen Hügel gebaut mit einer traumhaften Aussicht. Yiannis und Sofia waren extrem nett und haben uns täglich mit Eiern und frischem Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten versorgt. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet und ermöglicht es mit griechischem Olivenöl und Kräutern zu kochen. Der Aufenthalt lies wirklich keine Wünsche offen und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top! Eine absolute Empfehlung für jeden, der einen detox vom stressigen Alltag möchte und sich eine Pause in der Natur gönnen will! Danke für diese unvergessliche Woche und bis ganz bestimmt bald!

nice complexe of appartements with a beautiful swimming pool, near a beautiful beach, in the Amazing remote part of the island, pine trees everywhere and désert roads.

Das war unser erster Aufenthalt in Griechenland und wir sind sehr positiv überrascht. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, sauber und für unseren Zweck genau passend. Sie ist optimal für Familien - 2 Erwachsene plus 2 Kinder oder vier Personen. Die Kommunikation mit Stergios funktionierte einwandfrei und sehr freundlich, bei der Übernahme der Unterkunft, erwartete uns eine Freundin von Stergios die uns dann auch alles technische erklärte. Während des Aufenthaltes schrieb uns Stergios an und erkundigte sich ob alles passt und ob wir eventuell etwas bräuchte, zusätzlich gab er auch Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Gegend. Kurze zur Lage, diese ist sehr ruhig und man hat alles in der Nähe z.B. Taverne mit gutem Essen kurzer Fußweg von 5-10min, für Lebensmittel und Tanken fährt man am besten nach Grevena ca. 10min mit dem Auto, apropos ohne Auto geht nichts. Resümee: Wir würden die Unterkunft sofort weiterempfehlen und könnten uns vorstellen das wir sie nochmal für uns mieten.

Smukt hus, fantastisk flot have og poolområde og dejlig terrasse. Man kunne endda lige akkurat se havet. Godt indrettet hus og behagelige senge. Michail var hurtig til at svare på beskeder og vi blev taget godt imod af Michaels far. Kort køretur til strande og spisesteder - dog skal man være opmærksom på, at sæsonen lukker ned i oktober, så der er de lokale supermarkeder og restauranter lukkede. Eneste minus var, at huset ligger tæt på hovedvejen, hvilken giver lidt vejstøj fra trafikken. Dette var dog ikke et stort problem, men godt at vide hvis man leder efter et hus med fuldkommen ro. Vi nød vores ophold og kan varmt anbefale stedet.

The house is big and very private. The owner, Peggy, was highly responsive and helped in everything she could. We've got the kitchen full of ingredients for us and it was fully equipped. The view from the house's terrace is amazing! I would defentaly come back. Afissos is a very nice town to leave in. The house is 2 minutes by car from the center. We could have walked it too (about 7-10 minutes) but it quit steep so we preferred the car. The house doesn't really have 3 bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms and the third is not closed by a door. It is actually few beds in the corridor. It was fine for us but it's not for 3 couples who all want their privacy. Bottom line - great asset!

Ιδανικό σπίτι για μεγάλες παρέες : ευρύχωρο , πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και σε φοβερή τοποθεσία για επίσκεψη σε όλη τη γύρω περιοχή . Η Κα Κατίνα πολύ φιλόξενη , ανταποκρίθηκε σε ότι και να της ζητήσαμε . Το σπίτι ήταν επίσης πεντακάθαρο και με πολύ μεγάλους χώρους αφού μπορούσαμε να μοιραστούμε μεγάλοι και παιδιά και να μην ενοχλεί ο ένας τον άλλον .
