Cabin holiday rentals in The Dells

My two best friends and I stayed at the fabulous Refugio Graziella for a relaxing girls’ weekend and it. was. perfect. Most of the weekend was spent lounging and chatting in all the many wonderful spaces the home offers: sipping coffee on the peaceful screened-in porch, relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows at the serene fire pit under the string lights with ample firewood and supplies, doing crafts and playing games at the inviting dining room table, cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and listening to music in the cozy living room. We did not end up using the sauna (just didn’t have time), but are already planning a winter getaway to RG. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet getaway, surrounded by nature but still a short drive away from anything you need or want. Clearly, so much thought was put into anticipating the needs of their guests, and that makes Refugio Graziella a place you immediately feel comfortable. 🥰

This location was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back the moment we got there. We actually got to see a black bear and three Cubs right in the yard, but unfortunately we didn’t get to see them again after that there’s also a beautiful area to walk on a trail and see people climbing a rock very nearby! she was super responsive. The hot tub was gorgeous. We have a blow up hot tub ourselves and it works fantastic and it was very clean so is the bathroom. The heated seat toilet was a nice touch. we had anything we needed and the air-conditioning worked great!! I will say definitely don’t eat at the turtle restaurant bar in the area. Service was absolutely horrible. After waiting an hour and a half our food never came and they gave us drink chips which we will never use because why would anyone wanna go back?lol! but that had nothing to do with her. This place was fantastic and they were extremely accommodating. thank you again for a terrific day. We hope to be back soon.

Wonderful setting for a couple’s getaway. It beautifully combines rustic charm with modern comforts; updated appliances, a stylish bathroom, and cozy furnishings throughout. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind, though the stairs to the bedrooms are steep and narrow, so keep that in mind. We loved soaking in the hot tub, playing board games, and cooking in the fully stocked kitchen. One of the highlights was renting kayaks from The Minnow Bucket, which delivered them right to us! We enjoyed paddling and fishing on Lake McGinnis and biking through the peaceful surrounding area.

This cabin was perfect. It had everything necessary to have a fun and relaxing stay. It was the perfect getaway. Peaceful, quiet and just what we needed. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone you won’t regret it. We will definitely be back!

Debra is an amazing host! She’s accommodating, respectful, responsive and very professional. Our stay was more than amazing. The house was perfect and everything that’s included with the home was more than satisfactory! We will definitely book with her again!

Wonderful spot for staying in or going out

So many great things about this house! Karina was very quick to respond with any questions I had before and after I booked our stay. This home was extremely clean and beautiful, you can tell the hosts take very good care of their property from the cleanliness, furnishings and the tasteful home decor. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bedrooms roomy and beds very comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean and well supplied with towels. The heated swimming pool was a hit with our family and was also very clean. Since our family has two small grandchildren, it was nice that the pool had a nice safety gate on the deck attached to the pool. There is a large hot tub but we didn't use it. The game room was very large and with the big screen TV a perfect place for the whole family to hang out. Evenings were spent around the fire pit, chairs and a large supply of firewood were provided, they even provided two small chairs for our little grandchildren to sit in. Look forward to coming back!!

Such a peaceful, relaxing, beautiful A-frame structure in the middle of a forest amazing views, hot tub with beautiful views enjoy time with family and friends around the beautiful fire pit. Highly recommended kids had a blast. Thank you.

A perfect winter getaway! Cozy, especially with the fireplace, and homey. Plenty of space for a family get together - good communal spaces while also enough room for individual retreat. All the amenities one could need are provided. SO grateful for a place that allows dogs. The owner is timely in response and kind. Understandably so due to environment but there were some insects in the home and dead bugs in some area (ladybugs, flies, etc). Overall, a great stay and wonderful place - would recommend.

Enjoyed a short anniversary getaway and it was perfect for us! Cute cabin and it was very clean with everything you need and more! The road is very quiet and a nice place to walk.

We had a last-minute change in our travel plans and still wanted to make the most of our vacation. Luckily, my husband found the Blackberry Lodge—and what an amazing find it was! We’re so happy we chose to stay here. From the start, Andrew (the owner and Super Host) was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and understanding about our situation. He made everything so easy, even on short notice. The lodge itself had everything we needed to feel completely at home—cozy, well-equipped, and full of charm. We truly enjoyed every moment and are already looking forward to coming back to create even more wonderful memories. Highly recommend this place and host. Thank you, Andrew!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful. My family and I have made unforgettable memories here. My daughter caught her first fish and we loved our peaceful days. Early morning fishing and calm walks in the afternoon. This place is perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Everything was as described and shown in the pictures. It was a very nice romantic getaway and tough to leave when it came to check out. Wasn't far from the Dells, (22-24 min) drive. The host was very responsive and helpful to answer my questions.

My family and I stayed at the Driftless Escape Cabin and had a wonderful time! The interior was even more beautiful in person with plenty of space for my whole family. The Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfy and they had everything you needed. The property was gorgeous with lots of open space and amazing views. We loved playing in the yard and s’mores by the fire. And even though the cabin is close to town, we still felt like we were miles away in nature and truly disconnected!!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Barbara’s cabin! It was MAGICAL! The property was completely private and peaceful. The most private and peaceful property we have ever visited. The fact that it is located in an area with many Amish neighbors means that there is a peace and quiet as well as harmony in the countryside. We would sit out for our morning coffee on the porch swing and listen to the passing of the horses and carriages. We sat outside all day long every day soaking in the peaceful serenity and the glorious old woods that surrounded us. The best of which was the stunning huge old Oak Tree that graces the front yard. In the morning we would hear the birdsong and the wind in the trees. At nighttime it would grow quiet and last night I heard a Whip-Poor-Will for the first time in my life! Amazing! We bought organic fruit and vegetables at the nearby Amish roadside stand, Busy Bees. The cabin was comfy, cozy& amazingly clean! The windows were spotless! A gem!

We just got back from an unforgettable stay at Luke & Abby’s incredible getaway. From the moment we arrived, it was clear they are exceptional hosts. Thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. We were three families with kids of all ages, and this place checked every single box. Well appointed, and clearly designed with both comfort and fun in mind. The private beach access was amazing for the toddlers, while the kayaks gave us a peaceful (and sometimes splashy!) adventure on the water. Evenings were a blast with snooker, retro arcade games, and that magic massage chair which became my personal favorite after hiking by Devil’s Lake. A special shoutout for the EV charging hub onsite, came in so handy for our day trips. And how could I forget the Spotted Cow surprise in the fridge? You didn’t have to… but we’re so glad you did! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect mix of relaxation, recreation, and real hospitality. Until next time, Luke & Abby, thank you again!

The stay was better than in the pictures. It is very spacious and peaceful there. It was perfect for my friend group and I. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

We recently stayed at a beautiful waterfront home in Nekoosa, WI, and it was an unforgettable experience. The property’s location on Lake Sherwood provided stunning views and easy access to the water. Mornings were peaceful, sipping coffee on the deck while watching the sunrise over the lake. The home was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were responsive and provided clear instructions, making the check-in process seamless. We especially enjoyed the private dock, which made fishing incredibly convenient. Overall, this property offered the perfect blend of relaxation and outdoor fun. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene lakeside getaway.

Beautiful Home and location. Peaceful place for our family vacation. Set up well for our age range of 2 to Grandparents. The fire pit was a highlight along with paddle boat rides. The fireplace was cozy for our day of rain. We were spoiled with a few extra treats left for guests. They think of everything. We enjoyed horse back riding near by along with many activities in the Dells area. We would definitely stay again if we return to the area.

We had so much fun … only 2 mins drive from a beautiful lake and camp where you can do some kayaking… for very lil $$$ def should check it out.
