Holiday rentals with lake access in Thailand

We spent a beautiful weekend at the Cabin with two families. It is in a superb location right by Doi Inthanon National Park. The house has everything you could ever need, and a lovely homely feel to relax and play games and hang out after a day of hiking and waterfalls. The facilities are top-quality with a real attention to detail. The morning light is also stunning, and the kids loved the pedalos in the little lake. The enclosed veranda with daybeds and the dining table with full french windows looking to onto the gardens is really a nice spot! We would definitely recommend this place for families or a group of friends looking for a comfortable base to explore Doi Inthanon from. The food from the nearby restaurant was also very reasonably priced and delicious. The hosts were super helpful and responsive, though we had nothing to really ask them for as the place is so perfectly set up and all the instructions and directions clear from the start. We will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed my time here! The place was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. Loved how cute the interior was. The area was pretty quiet and private as well. There’s lots of good eats in the area. Paisan was super nice and quick to respond if I had any questions. Check-in was easy and smooth. He made sure to walk us through the check in process and showed us the house himself. Paisan was really nice to give us welcome drinks as well. Would totally stay here again if I’m back in the area. We absolutely loved our stay! The house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need – truly a paradise for anyone who enjoys cooking. The kitchen had all the tools and space to make shared meals a real joy. On top of that, there were plenty of activities for every age, so no one ever felt left out. We came as a group of friends, and it was the perfect setting for quality time, fun, and relaxation. Highly recommend for group trips or families!

We staid here after traveling Thailand for about 10 days already, and this was my most favorite place that we stayed at. It's right on the river, and the island is amazing. There is a small weekend market, plus a number of regular little shops, cafes, and restaurants on the island. Ko Kret is a hidden gem! So beautiful. I absolutely loved staying here. The rooms are located on the 2nd level of a traditional teak wood home, with it's own (though separated) bathroom, balcony, and seating areas. Rooms are air conditioned, bathroom is not, but that was not an issue for us. The two women are so incredibly kind, and serve a great breakfast each morning! This is a great place to stay for anyone who is looking for a local, quiet, traditional experience. I wish I could stay longer!!! 🥰

Nice studio apartment with a comfortable bed and great facilities. Friendly/helpful guards with easy check-in. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The host was very responsive.

Great apartment and brand new! Everything is done very thoughtfully and aesthetically. A large and clean pool, lots of greenery around, even a lake with a kayak free to use. Stunning views from the veranda and pool deck - a perfect place to rest and relax with an owner who fulfills any request and answers all questions. Everything is super new and of high quality. We will come again, thank you!

Thank you Thanawan, we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The hotel was well situated and accomodating, the only tiny downfall is there is no in house dining or bar however lots to explore outside. Many thanks again and we will certainly be back 🙏

Highly recommended place and Charles is a great host, always helpful and responsive. The condo has everything you need for a pleasent stay including access to a pool area and a fitness room. Also close to a lot of local eateries and nice lake area great for running and biking.

This is a small and clean apartment. It is located on the first line of the sea and has a very nice pool. Everything you need is close by.

We finally had the opportunity to stay at Lyn’s. We’ve been here for several years but never an opportunity to stay as it’s rarely available. Lyn’s place is perfect for small families. Spacious, free of clutter, clean & as described. The complex was quiet due to the low season hence pricing was value for money. What we loved most was the small functional touches at Lyn’s that made a lot of difference such as umbrella, table cloths, laundry baskets, laundry detergents, kitchen paper towels and mid stay cleaning service. I’d definitely recommend Lyn’s if you’re looking at staying in Mai Khao. Just know that unless you’re staying in somewhere like Patong where it’s walkable; a rented vehicle will help in terms of mobility.

Great stay. The room is clean, close to the beach and match the description. The host always respinse quickly. Definitely recommend.

A very good place for staycation esp for a family of 3 or 4. All necessary things such as cooking stuff, doing laundry, and ironing are provided. The owner of the unit gives good and quick assistance when you need it. Tourist places are just around the area if you want to roam and do sightseeing. We are definitely going back.

Lovley, no frills stay centrally in Phuket but away from the crowds and near a lovley water reservation. It's really quiet at night. Host is lovley and responded to our requests super fast. Nice person who tries his best to make his guests have a great stay. There is construction next doors but they start only around 9am. No smoke or other things as described by previous tenants. Electrical bill is extra but very fair. Just wasn't mentioned, but for the the price I expected that to be the case anyways. It's an amazing offer for the price U get a huge apartment. Perfect location if U like nature. But yes, bike will be needed to get in and out. We loved our stay and hope to visit again. Was the best accommodation for our 10 days in Phuket. ❤️🙏

The place was lovely and so spacious! The views were incredible and the pool table/games room was a great addition! Simon was super helpful and communicative despite not being there in person - going out of his way to help us multiple times! Would 100% stay again!

I absolutely loved staying here. I've been traveling for over a month and this was the first place I felt totally at home. The bathroom was lively and it was so nice to cook in the kitchen. After I left I thought: oh it felt so good to be there it felt like a big hug. Then I remembered that is the name of their place! Hehe thanks so much!

Thanthip and her husband were extremely kind to us. We didn't have a vehicle, so he would pick us up and drop us off at the restaurant. They were very warm and helpful whenever we needed them. I highly recommend this accommodation, which, moreover, is beautiful, and is located in a forest, which makes the setting beautiful. I recommend this accommodation, which was one of the best during my stay in Thailand. Thanks again to Thanthip and her husband.

I will be back and many will follow. It’s my dream house. Just sitting by the creek is more than enough.

Super quiet location in Jungle, easily accessible restaurants

Beautiful house, the vegetation of the jungle is wonderful, you can walk to the beach 8 minutes away. I recommend renting motorcycle or car to get to know the island. A place to enjoy quietly if not so much movement, I extended my stay there. After touring the entire island I would not stay in another area, it feels exclusive to part of the tourist area. The host was very nice, showed me the neighborhood and helped me to wash the car, she gave me recommendations for tours and transportation. She was always attentive and willing. They also cleaned the space, changed sheets and towels during my 7 day stay! The only recommendation I would make is to put mosquito nets on the sliding doors and windows as the heat and smells accumulate. And because of the mosquitoes and animals you cannot open windows to let fresh air into the space
