The photos do not do justice to this lovely place. It is bigger and prettier than it appears on the website, and exceeded all our expectations. A lovely apartment on the ground floor of a villa in the serene countryside of Assam, it is but 20 minutes' away from the hustle and bustle of Tezpur. Being well-equipped, private, and quiet but well-connected, Saya's abode is just the right place to unwind after a long journey, or rest before preparing to undertake one. The gorgeous countryside sunset that can be seen from the (almost) floor-length windows is definitely a plus. Saya herself, as well as her on-site manager, were attentive to our every need, arranging transport for us to visit nearby places, including a drop-off to the station. I would certainly love to stay here again.

A Home Away from Home! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Axom Aura in Tezpur, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The homestay is located in a quiet neighborhood and Kasturi ma’am is a gem. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The bed was cozy, and the bathroom was modern and hygienic. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as fresh towels and toiletries. The host was super warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They provided guidance all the way along, offered mouth watering local food and even offered to help with luggage. Their hospitality made me feel right at home! The homestay offered a range of amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen and fast Wi-Fi. Uncle and aunty were super amazing. I travelled with my three dogs, and they even specially prepared boiled chicken for them. One a kind experience!! Ratings won’t do justice, but I’ll still give it a 10/10 for everything!

It is build in traditional Assam type style with bamboos and bamboo/wooden material, yet with all the modern amenities interms of kitchen and washroom. We are located in the heart of the city with amenities and market all around.. The ISBT bus stand is also coming up exactly opposite to the homestay. We are in the heart ot the city, yet out of hustle bustle. Enjoy stay in our traditional cottage.
