House holiday rentals in Tennessee River

We rented Diana's place for a girls' trip (8 of us). The location was perfect, about 12 minutes away from downtown Chattanooga, and minutes away from grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants in St. Elmo. The house was thoughtfully decorated and designed- super spacious for a large group to spread out. We enjoyed the outdoor entertaining area with the clean pool, hot tub, and fire pit. Would absolutely recommend!

We loved our stay! They thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing and reading by the pool and had everything we needed. The host were wonderful to communicate with and it was a quick and easy drive to Chattanooga.

I want to start by saying, a HUGE thank you to Jim and Mary! Jim greeted us in person when we arrived. We had an amazing stay in their wonderful home, waking up to a beautiful view of the lake. They have a private swimming pool but we didn’t get to use it, it would be perfect for summertime. Their kitchen has some supplies you can use, the rooms are spacious and clean, they also have clean towels in the closet. One of the highlights of our stay is Jim’s delicious pecan pie that he personally baked for us! We appreciate their thoughtfulness and for making me and my family feel welcome. They are very responsive whenever we needed help or have questions, also pet friendly, we were able to bring our family furbaby with us. Absolutely we’re willing to stay again in this lovely home.

I highly recommend staying here. It is as exactly described as shown in pictures. Very clean,spacious and comes with all your basic household needs. Checking in and out was very easy. It was very quiet and peaceful. Instructions and house rules are very simple and easy to follow. The host was very kind and easy to reach. 10/10 recommend over a hotel and great for families of all ages.

This house was absolutely STUNNING! Every day the view was just amazing. Owners VERY responsive! Enjoyed the hot tub and unit was well equipped in kitchen and nice touch with starter supplies. We found beds comfortable and all 6 of us (adults) could find some privacy. Enjoyed the billiards and the fireplace on the balcony was the perfect backdrop to talk about our adventures. The road was a bit scary if you are afraid of heights and hairpin turns! We got more comfortable as the week went on but we were still reluctant to drive in the dark! The house was good location to Sevierville. Enjoyed Holstens for dinner. The main drag is only about a 25 minute drive. Gatlinburg was about a 35 minute drive. Smokey mountains NP about 45 mins from house . We saw 6 bears on this trip. 1 ran past us in the driveway and we got a good picture from the balcony. Be careful to lock the doors to your car! Fun house! step back in time to the 70s. my grandchildren loved it. best house ever! they played games, listened to 8 tracks and cassettes. Sang, watched the first vhs movie and called the TV square boxes! we had a blast. exactly as described and we all agreed we would do this again.

We enjoyed this beautiful oasis on the lake. We enjoyed spending our time floating on the lake, fishing, kayaking, and enjoying the time around the fire pit. The house was beautiful, clean, and full of amenities. We plan to come back and visit again soon!

Fantastic home, fantastic hosts, fantastic location. Everything about this place is what you could hope for when traveling. Darcy provided snacks, fresh farm raised eggs, and fresh sourdough bread. I’m a hiker and this place was centrally located for multiple amazing waterfall hikes. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. Darcy was very proactive And provided so much helpful information. Her guidebook is something every host should provide. It made it very simple for me to plan my days. This place is private and peaceful and the hot tub is amazing too. It’s also a 90 minute drive to Nashville, Knoxville or Chattanooga. Highly recommend and can’t wait to make my next visit. We really enjoyed our stay at Hooked On The River Dock 172. Kimberly and Royce are amazing hosts. We relaxed on the river after long days of work. I would highly recommend this home to anyone and would love to return when I could spend more time enjoying all this home has to offer.

House was perfect! We enjoyed our weekend so much. The house had everything we needed. It was very clean. Plenty of space even with our three kids. Outside amenities were awesome. We will definitely stay again.

My husband and I had the pleasure and privilege of spending five wonderful nights at Jeff and Emily's home. The design of their home reflects a mid-century style and is quite impressive. As soon as we arrived, we felt at home. The house is fully equipped, and the primary bedroom and bath were very comfortable. Even though the weather was mostly rainy during our stay, we found joy in relaxing on the deck while observing numerous eagles as they traveled to and from their nests. The sunsets and scenery are truly stunning. We enjoyed the amenities at Paris Landing State Park (restaurant, golf course) and rented a pontoon and jet skis locally. Observing their home from the lake provides a full perspective of the artistry and foresight involved in creating this magnificent retreat. We are already planning a return visit!

We had the best time, it rained most of the time this weekend, but drinking coffee on the deck, while looking out at the river was great.. we can't wait for our longer stay next month. The boat dock was perfect. We tied off at night instead of pulling the boat out of the water.. the kids enjoyed fishing off the dock also.

An amazing stay that feels far removed from all the huddle and busker of modern life. Great hosts who are attentive and proactive in letting us know about possible challenges we might face. The cleanest and nicest place we have ever stayed. Great way to spend our honeymoon and wish we stayed longer.

We had such a magical time here enjoying all the little details in the space. Kristi was especially helpful. My partner gets extreme weather anxiety and was nervous driving down because there was a lot of storms, but when I expressed this to Kristi she even offered us a second night in the space. We had so much fun and will definitely be back. ❤️

John is a fabulous host! This is our second time staying at this home and we’ve loved it both times! Everything is just as described on the banks of the beautiful Tennessee River! We will be back again!

Super cozy, cute and quiet space. Very relaxing and enjoyable. The place was spotless!

My husband and I and another couple had a great MDW stay in this beautiful container home! If you love to be outside, relaxing, this is the place to be! We started our days at the top deck, then moved to the 2nd floor deck for afternoon drinks at the bar. We ate dinner in the screened in porch and when a rain storm came through. It’s the perfect space to enjoy a meal or be outside even when the weather isn’t perfect. Then finished the night out by the fire pit! The view is gorgeous and it is very peaceful. Andrew was super responsive and we had no issues. Would definitely recommend this property!

What a wonderful place in an amazing small town on a mountain… just a short trip to restaurants and golf and the university and also The Caverns music venue! We will do it again! Thanks Nathan

This place was so peaceful and relaxing. Kids had a blast kayaking the creek. The swing into creek was a big plus for kids also. House was clean and loved the screened in porch with fireplace and tv.

Peaceful Cabin Retreat – Perfect for Groups! We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cabin in the Cumberland Furnace woods! It was super peaceful, with plenty of space inside and out. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. The hot tub was a huge hit after a day of exploring, and we loved hanging out around the fire pit each night. With room for 8, it was the perfect getaway for our group — plenty of privacy on about 4 acres, yet still easy to get to. Everything was just as described (or better), and the hosts were great. Would absolutely stay here again!

This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. I’m usually the one who wants to go back home early even on 30A, but this was so peaceful and relaxing that I could see myself staying forever. The Tims Ford lake + kayaking was so much fun. They have all you need- vests, paddles etc. And a trailer to hook up if needed. We have a truck so that wasn’t necessary but there’s also the awesome Polaris ranger you can ride around on. We are a family of 4 plus dog and it was perfect for us. Felt comfortable walking around also. I felt so connected to God while here- it was an absolute recharge. Noni was A++ communicative and proactive so there weren’t any questions on our end. The ONLY and I mean only thing that was a little pain, was- the front door is a little wonky so you have to be extra careful to shut it (with kids you have to double check)- but again- Noni communicated this beforehand. I can’t wait to book here again!

Sunset Ridge house is a beautiful, spacious and luxurious getaway. The kitchen is well stocked. I fell in love with the blue ribbon glassware and ordered a set for myself!We found the house perfect for our needs, especially the screened in porch overlooking the mountain ranges. We hope to make a return visit next time we’re in the area.
