Great room in this beautiful riad! Very clean place, exactly as in the photos, very pleasant to live in we felt at home in a little cocoon in the middle of the medina Amal is the perfect host, always available, responsive by the minute (great breakfast as a bonus every morning!) If we were to come back to Fez we will necessarily go to Amal I recommend 100%

Sonhild and her team are incredibly friendly, open and at the same time very respectful in dealing with privacy. You feel welcome from the first moment and yet completely free. The house is simply breathtaking - designed with so much attention to detail. Everything is sparkling clean, tasteful, full of soul – an oasis in the middle of the medina, and yet located in a pleasantly quiet corner. The invitation to dinner with the family was particularly touching - the food was sensational, but even more so the warmth and openness with which we were received. And then there is Sonhild herself - a fascinating woman, full of depth, stories, experience and heart formation. An encounter that resonates, touches you, and that you don't forget THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart ❤️

This is our second time staying in this family home and we are still delighted . Christian is a responsive and attentive host. We were very happy to meet Rachid who takes care of the house. He is absolutely great and his kindness and availability greatly facilitate immersion in the city. A huge thank you to him! We tested Ayat's kitchen which is exceptional. The house was extremely clean when we arrived. This is a spacious and cozy house for a family (there were 5 of us). It is perfectly equipped for a great stay . Kitchen is incredibly well equipped! This house is perfectly located,far from the hustle and bustle but close to everything on foot. This makes it a highly recommendable place for guests looking for authenticity. We would have stayed a little longer,but we had to go home. As we were telling Rachid ...never two without three! See you soon!

For Medina experience, it is a great place to stay. The accommodation is by the oldest university in the world, The University of al-Qarawiyyin. (UNESCO and the Guinness World Records, have cited al-Qarawiyyin as the oldest university or oldest continually operating higher learning institution in the world.) The place is also surrounded by Moorish / Andalusian and Marinid / Berber architectural gems such as Bou Inania Madrasa and Al-Attarine Madrasa. On the flip side, although Fes Medina is very safe, it may be a good idea especially for solo travelers to be back to the place by the last prayer's call of the day or a little later (like 11 pm in the summer). Finally, Sonhild and Said are great people. They will make you feel home.

This amazing old house, hidden in the médina of Fès was exactly as described. We loved the heaters (yes, winter can be cold) and felt very well looked after by the host with advice. If you get the chance to eat at their sister Riad, do it - food was absolutely delicious, I recommend the Beef and Prune tagine . Thank you to Hamza and his team to make us feel welcome and very safe.

The Riad is very well appointed, well maintained. Communication with Loli and Franck was fluid. They are very responsive. The people who took care of the cleaning and breakfast 'included in the rental price’ were very helpful. Laundry detergents charged 60dh per unit. Paid parking is less than a 5min walk from the Riad. Fez is a city rich in history. There is also so much to visit around the city (Volubilis, Moulay yacoub, Ifrane ´Petite Moroccan Swiss’.). During the day the medina is teeming with activities, but in the evening it is much less safe. There are many restaurants in the medina with quite reasonable prices for international tourists. If you go to the new city you have very clean restaurants and twice cheaper. The Riad is well located for walking tour of the medina. Great value for money!

Our stay was just great. We felt right at home. Said is a very warm, friendly, accommodating, warm and always cheerful host. He picked us up at the parking lot and brought us to the property, prepared us a great breakfast every morning and was there for us with help and advice. Sonhild was not personally present, but she was also available at all times and wrote very warm messages, was proactive and gave us many recommendations. Everything is clean, tidy and very comfortably furnished. The view from the roof terrace is great and the location right in the middle. We highly recommend this home!

Beautiful riad in the heart of the medina. Eric is a friendly host who welcomed us late at night and took the time to show us around. Our arrival was perfectly organized with a taxi to the airport.

We had a nice train at the accommodation! The location close to the very pretty beach of Thara Youssef is spotless , the house is very spacious and comfortable. Very easy to access and park in front of the house as well. The house is composed of three separate units and the terrace is common 😉 I recommend it of course! 😁👍
