Small treasure in the alleys of the historic center of Cortona. Well-kept and clean environment, true to description! A note of merit to the host who provided specific directions to get to free parking near the property, avoiding the historic center with paid areas and above all for the availability to accommodate some small requests from us guests! Recommended!

Wow!! The home is beyond beautiful and extremely tasteful decorated. From the upstairs bedroom, the view is incredible. My family loved every aspect of the home and we enjoyed spending time together in the spacious living room. It is in the heart of Cortona, so we were able walk everywhere. Special thanks to Marialena, as she ensured we had everything we needed and helped us arrange rides from and to the train station. We can’t wait to return to stay here again!

The Wine Loft is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The modern architecture is gorgeous and the views are magical. We traveled by trains and it was easy to take a taxi (arranged by the Wine Loft) from the station. Additionally, we enjoyed walking the country path through the woods and meadow to Bagno Vignoni. We highly recommend this beautiful property. The wines were a phenomenal addition to the stay.

Beautiful home in a more secluded area overlooking Lake Trasimeno. The trains and a highway are below but not invasive. The views are beautiful. The home was clean and tastefully updated but still clearly old and had a lot of character. We did not have a car and the train station is an hour walk away. There are a couple buses that pass through but not enough to be a reliable means of getting to and from the house. Even the taxi was busy and we had to be flexible on when we went to the train station but it worked out fine. We walked to and from Tuoro for groceries and visited La Puntabella for a great dinner with a view. It was an adventure and we enjoyed it despite our plan not being very good for this location. Sonia was patient and helpful in working out our means of travel and figuring out the bus schedule. Natolino reminded us of home and he is fun to watch and listen to.

Charming Tuscan Hideaway

We stayed a total of 8 nights with Beatrice and Bernardo and we loved it. They were both very kind and helpful. The house was nice and cosy. Swimming pool was great and a necessity in the heat (+35C every day). And we loved the garden with the olive and fruit trees, Beatrice's vegetable garden and of course the cats, chickens, donkeys and shetland pony. Beatrice was always available for help, even by app. And she will help you to make plans for visits and restaurants. She even did a cooking workshop with us because we wanted to learn how to make pasta the Tuscan way. We made so much pasta that we took it with us for lunch on our return trip. Beatrice and Bernardo, grazie mille!

[L 'Antico Casale] Timeless Retreat in Cortona 5*

We have always been in love with Cortona, and we spent 4 days in Giovanni's farmhouse, a stone's throw from the historic center and in a position that allowed us to enjoy the views and tranquility of the Tuscan countryside. The farmhouse is carefully renovated and perfectly matches the photos. They were greeted with kindness and we appreciated the flexibility and the small details (a bottle of fresh water, the oil of their own production, the things that make you feel at home). The swimming pool is definitely the highlight of a farmhouse that makes you feel perfectly immersed in nature and the authentic spirit of Tuscany. Everything is wonderful!

We were so pleased with Paolo’s apartment! It was centrally located but so quiet at the same time. Maria, Paolo’s mother, was so gracious and let us in earlier to leave our luggage after a long hike up the hill to Cortona from the train station. We would love to come back and stay at Paolo’s place next time we are in Cortona.
