Holiday rentals with lake access in Taupo District

Sarah was a wonderful host and her place felt like home. We had everything we needed for a week in Taupo. Close to a shopping market and the walking path on the lake, the place was quiet and peaceful.

Was a comfortable stay with everything we needed. Exactly as described as an older style of property with furnishing that matched. Nice bedding and a good night sleep. Great location to the town and lake.

Modern and cosy apartment right in front of the lake. Everything is perfect from kitchen to the bathroom. Appreciate Trent who able to accommodate last min request. Thanks for the stay!

This was a very nice and clean place to stay, with easy instructions on how to get in and where to park. The house was in a nice quiet and more private area with only a short drive to the city centre which was really good. Overall I highly recommend this place as it’s definitely worth the money :)

Hi Belinda and Andy We had an amazing stay! The ambiance of the place was perfect – calm, cozy, and beautifully arranged. Everything was so well-kept and thoughtfully set up. The view was absolutely stunning and made the experience even more special. We all had a great time and truly enjoyed every moment. We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home ….. our hosts Marki and Chris were just wonderful and everything about the space and the surroundings was top notch. The furnishings, decor, attention to detail, lovely treats and overall vibe of the home was very special …. Walking distance to the most beautiful little bay, surrounded by nature was awesome. Would thoroughly recommend!!!

What a beautiful apartment. The views from the lounge and the master bedroom were amazing. Looking straight across Lake Taupo. The kitchen facilities were fantastic with lots of utensils. . Bathrooms were a good size Parking was easy and undercover. Thoroughly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Such a great host. Fantastic communication and very helpful. Lovely spot and is a great kiwi Bach. Loved the fishing and biscuiting on the lake. The place was fantastic for little ones with the fencing. The beds were so comfortable and the shower had great pressure.

The place is it is as described. My children love the toys inside and the backyard. Great walk to a lake nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, walking distance to lake front. We loved the bach feel and admired the decor - ample books, DVDs and family board games to keep you entertained, and a classic table tennis table! Clean, tidy home to enjoy.

Rebecca's place is a lovely 2 bedroom house with a sunny deck. Just a minute or two walk down the street you arrive lakeside to stunning views. We enjoyed the use of the free kayaks and spending a full day in Motuoapa bay. We checked out Rebecca's food recommendations and had yum fish and chips from Challenge and a delicious lunch at The Liquorice Cafe. The winter nights were cosy with the heatpump on. We thought Rebecca's place was excellent value for money and were delighted to have our wee fox terrier share in the adventure. Definitely recommend this escape from bigger towns to a peaceful, pretty house in this wee bay.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful, cosy place. Comfortable bed. Nice shower with good water pressure. Quiet surroundings. Alexandra generously provided lots of complimentary food like snacks, fruit, milk, breakfast cereal etc as well as tea and coffee. Even comfy bath robes were provided. It felt like luxury but at an affordable price!
