Our modern home is 15 minutes drive from Taupo but still feels like a secret hideaway. It is quiet and private with majestic views of Lake Taupo and Mount Ruapehu - the sunsets are stunning. Nestled in the peaceful area of the Botanical gardens is our place to rest and recharge your mind and spirit. Our retreat is opposite the vast reserve surrounding you with bird song and walks into the lush New Zealand native bush. We have a secluded courtyard to sit and contemplate whilst having a glass of wine and reading magazines from our selection. Enjoy an easy bike to town or "The Lions Walk" on the lakefront on our electric bikes, a super way to see the sights and come home smiling.

Cosy private cabin for unwinding after adventures

Our small but mighty cabin has everything you need for a cosy stay in Taupō. Located on a residential street only a 15-minute walk to the lake, it’s a great launching pad for local adventures. The fully self-contained cabin is on the front of our property with its own private deck and comfy outdoor chairs with warm woolly blankets for star gazing. If the weather is chilly, tuck up inside and watch a movie (bring your passwords to stream your fav shows) or grab a book from the little library.

Situated in Acacia Bay, Lake Taupo, our spacious downstairs two bedroom apartment has beautiful views of Lake Taupo. Set in a quiet safe area, it consists of a large studio queen bedroom (open to living area) and a second bedroom with super king bed (can be converted to king singles by prior request). The apartment has a large living area including lounge/dining/kitchen, full private bathroom and laundry. Great indoor/outdoor living, with access to a spa pool. Your hosts live upstairs.
