Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Tattnall County

This was a lovely and comfortable rural house, very enjoyable.

I remember going to my great-aunt's house when I was 10-years old and thinking I had just entered a museum because everything was an antique. That's what Lynn's country house is like. It was built 100 years ago (or more) and has furniture and accessories from that time period. That said, it's been updated with all the modern conveniences except for internet. I had good cell service (AT&T). I love the rural setting of the house, especially enjoyed my morning coffee while watching the cows (and donkeys) in the nearby field. Couple of nights they even "moo'ed" me to sleep. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of room in the dresser provided for my use. Lynn was extremely accommodating and immediately responded to any request I made or needed. She greeted me upon arrival and gave me a loave of home-made sourdough bread which was excellent. She has a Keurig coffee maker and keeps it well-stocked with coffee pods and creamers. If you want a country setting, this is it.

Great place to stay when visiting Statesboro

It was a really nice place just like the pictures. the beds and pillows were perfect. The only noise was the sound of nature. I would definitely recommend this place and would go back. we went to the watermelon winery and it was a great experience.

Great place to spend on the river. Would be nice for a fishing trip or just a quiet getaway. I will say the drive was half a mile down a dirt road which was fine, but I’d recommend a AWD vehicle during the rainy months due to the puddles and such. Lots of wildlife around, even had visitation from some squirrels. The host was very communicative and flexible with us, as well as super friendly. Would recommend for a weekend!

We loved Lee's place. The first thing you notice is how clean the cabin is. The second thing you will notice is Lee's grandfather's arrowhead collection displayed in the kitchen. We enjoyed all of the eclectic decor. The furniture is comfortable as well as the beds. The river views were lovely. The kitchen had plenty of supplies for cooking. The outdoor seating/grilling area is very roomy. We spent two days there. Didn't leave the cabin area once. We will defiantly stay there next time we go to Georga.

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and offered the perfect amount of privacy. One of the highlights was definitely the private sandbar on the river—it was such a peaceful and unique spot to relax. Everything about the place exceeded our expectations. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway.

Really quiet area and a great space in general. The shops were a short drive away. There were some bugs in and around the cabin, but that's to be expected given the area. Overall, it was a really lovely vacation spot.

Mike and Kim were amazing hosts, working to meet all our needs while there. They went the extra mile time and time again. The cabin is gorgeous. We had a blessed time!

I had a wonderful stay at MK’s , it was peaceful, serene & everything I needed for a restful weekend. I enjoyed walking the trails, the quietness of the cabin & property and especially the how safe and at home I felt. MK was proactive with any assistance if needed but also let me enjoy my stay. I loved the flowers that welcomed me on the dinner table and feeding the fish in the lake was exciting.
