Villa holiday rentals in Taormina

Villa Gorna is an amazing location with fantastic hosts. The property is as described and photos are accurate. A lot of care was taken to put nice extra features. Orazio was very responsive and helpful, with offers available for tours etc. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

The property is off the beaten path and full of character. It’s got a wonderful garden and terrace area with amazing views of the surrounding mountains - the highlight of the place. The host was responsive. The only negative is the flushing of the toilet in the main apartment which doesn’t quite work right. However, the views and the fact there is a BBQ was provided more than made up for this minor inconvenience

Nunzio was incredibly friendly and helpful! The house is beautiful and the location is amazing. The road to get there is a little rough but once you arrive you are greeted by 4 lovely cats and Bianca the dog. Everything went smoothly and Nunzio was always ready to help with whatever was necessary and gave lots of recommendations. Would recommend everyone to travel inwards instead of just staying along the coast and visit this place!

Martina was great to deal with, extremely helpful and responsive. The apartment is in a peaceful and scenic location with fabulous views. The beds are very comfortable but the bunks are rather narrow and the top one is high. The kitchen is decently equipped although we struggled a bit with the stove top coffee maker. The living room has plenty of seating. The terrace is lovely and spacious with good seating to admire the view. The stairs: Yes, long-ish and steep-ish but I’m 78 and had no problem. Martina provides a very honest and comprehensive description of the location and local interests. Definitely would recommend to friends.

Alessandra’s property just north of Viagrande was an excellent location for us to explore Mt Etna and surrounding towns. Alessandra was a great communicator and accommodated our late check in after an evening flight into Catania. Our children enjoyed exploring the grounds of the property but the guest house itself is quite rustic (which was fine for us).

What a wonderful place. Lovely quiet stay. View out of this world .. saw Mt Etna erupt! Host was lovely, friendly and very helpful. Access to beach simple. Beach is stunning. A gorgeous stay. Exactly what we wanted and needed. Thankyou so much. Xox

It would take more than five stars to do right to our experience with Villa Artemis. So far we always had good experiences with the accomedations we booked via AirBnB, but Villa Artemis totally exceeded our already high expectations. It was simply perfect. The house is spacious, tastefully decorated, and with no less than two living/dining rooms and two bathrooms. Outside the house there is are plenty of places to sit and relax with wonderfull views on both the sea and the Etna. The house is clean and well equiped. Everything you need for a great and carefree holliday is there. This review wouldn't be complete however if I didn't mention the family that hosts the place. Francesco, Giovanna, Antionio and Valeria were very kind, always willing to assist. They helped us out more than once. We are really happy to have met them, and hope to meet again.

A magical retreat – it couldn't get much better than that! This house is an absolute dream! Nestled in a lemon plantation in the mountains, with stunning views – on one side the sparkling sea, on the other side of majestic Etna. The tranquility here is indescribable, you only hear nature. I was able to really unwind, unwind and re-energize. The house itself is lovingly furnished, very clean and offers everything you need. The highlight: the terrace! I will never forget this view. In addition, the opportunity to pick and enjoy so many fresh lemons – whether to eat or as a freshly squeezed juice – a dream for all the senses! The cats are especially fond of me – so intimate and sweet, I immediately took them to heart. A huge thank you to Sarah – she is a wonderful host, warm, helpful and always trying to make the stay perfect. Best regards, I'll be back!

This was our first visit to Sicily. We were a group of 8 with 3 families. We had plenty of space & privacy. The home is truly as beautiful as the photos & is like a step back in time. Maria is an amazing artist who added her special touches all over the home This was Francesco’s grandfathers home built in the late 1800’s. The backyard overlooks the town below & the ocean w Mt Etna on the other side. Magnificent! The added bonus of Rosaria’s services made us feel incredibly pampered. Her services are an additional fee but are very well worth it. She cooked 2 amazing meals for us (her chicken cacciatore is the absolute best!). She also helped secure a restaurant reservation & transportation. Note that a driver or rental car is a must. Unless you are fluent in Italian you will need translation apps. Truly a lifesaver as Sicilians often do not speak English. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever fortunate enough to visit the beautiful island of Sicily.

This was the most magical Airbnb experience ever. Guiseppe and Giulia are the most hospitable Hosts I have ever come into contact with. They went above and beyond to make our stay the best. The villa is incredible with massive outdoor grounds to enjoy and a very beautiful large deep clean pool. Inside the villa is exactly as described but better! They were gracious and filled the fridges with many drinks to enjoy. They met us at the toll booth and escorted us to the villa and then drove us around town later to familiarize ourselves to the area and provided many dining recommendations. They were even so kind as to make reservations under their family name and deliver the most amazing desserts I have ever had! The location of the villa is perfect for day trips to Savoca and Taormina and surrounding areas. To have such a beautiful peaceful villa to return to made this our own slice of heaven! I would return in a heart beat. Thank you Giuseppe and Giulia for the most amazing stay.

We had an amazing stay at Ville Voces! The villa is stunning, even more beautiful than in the photos, and fully equipped with everything you might need. Victor and Marinella were also incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with. There’s plenty to do in the area, and everything is easily accessible by car. While there was some traffic outside the villa, we hardly noticed it after the first day. All in all, we had a fantastic week and truly hope to come back soon!

The villa was above and beyond what we imagined! The pictures do not do it justice! The hosts went above and beyond to welcome us into their own, helping us with every need and question. The included breakfasts were fantastic and we had the villa owner cook for us one night served by the pool and it was by far one of the best meals we had in all of Italy. The pool was such a special treat each evening after our day visiting Mt Etna (super close to access) or around town. We would highly recommend this place as it’s spacious (we had 8 and there was extra room) and the hosts really went above and beyond to help us with every need! The only downside we had was that we only stayed for 2 nights! We will return to Sicily just to stay at this villa again! Va bene! Grazie mille!

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

This house was one of the most amazing places I've ever stayed. We went for a week and a half on a family trip, and it could not have been more incredible. Somehow, the grounds are even more lush and beautiful and spacious than the photos make them look. Incredible views of Mt. Etna and innumerable spots for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Our manager of the property was more like a concierge. Gianluca was more welcoming and helpful than anyone I've encountered in years renting Airbnb places. We will surely be back and can't recommend it highly enough for anyone checking it out!

I cannot speak highly enough of Larry and Reina’s Taormina rental. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean and the bathrooms were spotless. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances along with a comprehensive manual/binder that featured walk through directions and manuals for everything in the rental. The host, Luca, was kind enough to stock a few items for us which were waiting when we arrived. There are a seemingly endless number of restaurants and eateries near, including a delicious spot right next door. Our stay was perfect. Thank you again, we hope to stay with you again when we retato Taormina.

Our group of 4 couples thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mara's house. There was plenty of room for all of us and the outdoor spaces were truly amazing. The kitchen is on the small side but we had no problems cooking meals for eight. We took the short drive into Santa Venerina for groceries and a couple of meals. The streets were not as narrow as some Italian villages. The best part of the stay was Mara herself! She is so helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

It’s a beautiful villa tucked away on top of a hill! The villa is clean and utterly beautiful!! The hosts left some gifts for us like wine and olive oil. Just an amazing experience. The views from this place are unmatched, even at night! The outdoor space is perfect for hanging out.

Beautiful stay in Aci Catena. The space comfortably accommodated all four of us and the beds were one of the most comfortable of our whole trip. The outdoor area was amazing with the pool surrounded by many olive, lemon and peach trees. Daria was very willing to help with every question we had and made many recommendations throughout our stay. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quaint stay, yet so close to everything.

What a fantastic stay! The views were spectacular and the outside space had lots of different areas and view points. An incredible place for star gazing! We enjoyed the feel of the villa - it was comfortable and had everything we needed - even a little welcome hamper. Antonio was a brilliant host… immediately responsive and a really pleasant chap. Nothing was too much trouble. He also arranged for our taxi ride back to the airport which was early morning! Thanks for having us :-)

Beautiful home! If you are staying in Catania and visiting surrounding areas, Isabella’s home is perfect. This was a quiet, private, spacious oasis of a property in the middle of the busy city life. Centrally located to visit the key attractions. Isabella was the perfect hostess! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed in their family home that has been in their family for generations. This home was great for our family of 6 and had enough space for everyone to spread out. The grounds and pool are beautiful. Isabella organized a traditional Sicilian meal to be cooked as well as a fun pizza night utilizing the authentic pizza oven. Isabella is a perfect hostess and provided us great information including a boat tour which was the best. What a lovely, and welcoming property!

Salvo and family are helpful and welcoming hosts organising pick up and food for our late night arrival. We were without a car and they made getting around very easy for us. The lovely house is on a quiet street walkable to small supermarket and some other shops. It is very spacious, nicely presented without being too precious making for a comfortable stay. Lots of outside space inc roof terrace, outdoor kitchen, eating and sitting spaces, garden areas and around the pool. There are side tables to have by the loungers. Inside, the kitchen is very well kitted out. At 1st floor there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, on the ground floor 3 en suite rooms, + 2 loos. The bedrooms are great (balcony or door to courtyard space) with some bathrooms needing some maintenance; the broken toilet seat was fixed quickly which was much appreciated. A big thank you to Salvo and his family for everything they did for us. We had a great time in this lovely house.

We were in Taormina for a wedding & picked this place to stay because it accommodated the 5 of us easily (each with a private bathroom), it had spectacular views & 2 pools. It couldn’t have been a better choice for our stay, conveniently located to the center, scenic, peaceful & spacious. By the next day we all felt at home. We took endless photos of the views as they were breathtaking overlooking the city & filled with greenery. The rooms were spacious and comfortable (each with air conditioning!) The host was helpful, friendly, and very responsive. A couple of notes for future guests: reaching the villa involves a fairly steep uphill walk, followed by steps leading into the house (not unusual for Taormina), but worth being aware of if mobility is a concern. While the villa overall was very comfortable, we’d recommend updating the living room furniture, as some pieces felt worn out & uncomfortable. Otherwise, this villa really elevated our whole trip experience. Highly recommend!

Amazing house and super kind owner! You can feel it’s very relaxing, clean and great place to rest. Indeed, you probably cannot get here without a car, and the road is quite challenging. But the house is rewarding you as soon as you open the gate :) I recommend 100%

The house is located at the foot of Mount Etna with a view of the volcano and the sea. The large garden with lemon and orange trees has a beautiful pool, which should be renovated, however, as the mosaic tiles are quite broken. The house is ideal for a large family with 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, plus 1 single room and a children's room. There were plenty of fresh towels and extra pool towels, clean bed linen, plenty of glasses and dishes. The kitchen was well equipped, some parts not up to date. The facility consists of old Italian furniture, plus small Ikea parts. The historic house is quite typical of the region, the structural condition is borderline for Central Europeans. The dining area in the garden under the large umbrella is beautiful. A cook can be booked, that was great! Unfortunately, there is an event location in the immediate vicinity that has very loud music until 2 a.m. and it disturbed us a lot. Nevertheless we had a lovely time!
