Ketama

AndreasRating, 5 stars5 months ago
I had the pleasure of staying with Mohammed in December, and it was an unforgettable experience. The farm's focus on ecological farming was truly inspiring, and I loved learning about the sustainable practices used in the day-to-day operations. Each day, I was treated to three delicious traditional dishes, each prepared with fresh, local ingredients that reflected the rich culinary heritage of the region. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with the soothing sounds of typical Rif music filling the air, enhancing the experience. Even in the winter, the heating was excellent, keeping the space cozy and comfortable. The area felt completely safe, and I highly recommend this stay for anyone looking to immerse themselves in both nature and culture.

we stayed on the driveway and therefore only stayed one night. however, a longer stay is highly recommended. The family atmosphere, the great hospitality and the excellent kitchen made the stay unforgettable. The day saved us in the evening and the breakfast gave us the necessary energy for the next stage. we had a velopanne on the way and mohammed reda was immediately parked with his 4x4 and drove us to the auberge, which we were very grateful for. mohammed's open-minded and warm manner builds bridges. thanks for driving in the defender and the "bienvenue" in the auberge.

Beach Front Villa Amazing Views

KatieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We found Marcos's place to be very beautiful and peaceful. The directions provided were perfect and the house was easy to find and access. We had everything we needed for a three night stay. There was space for us to spread out and everything was so clean. The view was absolutely amazing! The house has a great mix of being very secluded and private but also being within a short distance to town and grocery store. We enjoyed exploring the property a bit and seeing all of the plants and flowers. What a gorgeous beach house!

The farm is beautiful, the hosts are friendly and welcoming, and the meals they prepare are delicious. Best AirBnB experience I’ve had.

Wonderful Riad! 🏡 Held by a warm, welcoming and caring family including Amine who will welcome you and advise you on any activities or questions you would have to ask them. The small dishes concocted by the mother will fill you with their quality but also by the quantity, real feast! 🤤 At the end of the stay, we took a photo with the whole family to remember their people with a big heart. ❤️ Really a great stay thanks to which we were able to discover Morocco and its culture a big thank you to the family for sharing all these good times with us! 🙏 If you hesitate then don't hesitate and book without a second thought! 😉

Saddik's House

DanielRating, 5 stars26 months ago
We were travelling as a family with 2 little kids (aged 4 and 2) and the experience couldn't be more valuable for all of us. All members of the family treated us with amazing hospitality, making us feel part of their family for a couple of days, which was enhanced by visiting them during Ramadan, so that we could share all their celebrations. Our little boys had a lot of fun playing with the family's kids, they got to know all the animals at the property, and we went for a nice walk across the beautiful fields that surround the property, in the middle of the Rif mountains. You will probably have no cellphone cover and life conditions are basic, but if you are looking for an authentic rural experience in North Morocco, that's definitely what you are looking for, as it is very obvious the family is doing it guided by their desire to meet people and not to make business. Overall, and by far, this was the highlight of our 10 days trip across North Morocco.

We thank Mohammed and his family for their hospitality. Mohammed and his father took the time to welcome us warmly, and the rooms were super clean. A real moment of relaxation. We had a wonderful walk with his father, who showed us the lands of Ketama thank you.

Mohamed's place was great and exactly as advertised. It is a working farm as the listing clearly states so be aware of the communal atmosphere that creates, if it is not your thing. Both Mohamed and Majid were unfailingly helpful and generous to a fault; giving rides down the hill into the village whenever requested, conducting brief tours of the village and surrounding countryside, taking guests to great coffee and food places and often refusing payment. I had a wonderful visit and would not hesitate to stay there again, or recommend it to fellow adventure travellers. Shukran guys!
