The villa was the most perfect place to relax and unwind. Staying on the upper floor felt like living in a tree house while the whole property was reserved exclusively for ourselves. The hosts were very kind, attentive to our every wish including breakfast, dinner, made on request. Above all, the food was delicious. Our three days stay was everything or even better than we could have hoped for and relaxed after our adventurous days in Sri Lanka. We discovered a beautiful beach, called Jungle beach nearby which we have had only for ourselves. It felt like a dream. We also ordered the massage which family provides and it was also great. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

Amazing place with chilled vibrations, surfbreaks in walking distance, lots of nice people and the best Pizza around. Kroot and Romina are such lovely hosts. Highly recommended. Extended my stay and will definetly come back! Thanks for hosting me!

Rajita is a great host. His mom is a very kind and loving lady, that cooks great Sri Lankan food! Their family is what makes the stay so special. You can feel the love, the animals are loved as well. The place is rather secluded with a secluded Beach nearby and Yoga Center and another beach within a few minutes walk - perfect for every day morning or sunset classes.

we were warmly welcomed in the beautiful house by ishara, dimidu, their two cute sons and the grandparents. we felt at home instantly. the house is 1 min walk from the wonderfull beach with a really nice surf point. they have a beautiful garden with a multitude of plants and flowers which are frequented by many different birds singing sweet songs every morning :) the rooms are simple and clean equipped with everything we needed. the host cooks very nice sri lankan breakfast and there are many options to go out for dinner in walking distance. if you like sri lankan food we warmly recommend taking a cooking class with ishara. she went to the market in matara with us where we bought the ingredients. after she thaught us to cook delicious roti, different tasty curries and our favourite coconut sambol (which wasn't as complicated as expected :), we can't wait to try cooking the dishes at home! we really enjoyed our stay and can recommend it to anyone. if we come back to madhia we know where to stay :) thank you and hope to see you again!

We stayed there for 3 nights and it was a great time. The room was very clean and spacious, and they were super friendly and helpful with their tips for the area.

Indras place is a very cute home to stay in. Very close to the beach. They have a guest that has been returning for 8 years. The family is very friendly and helpful. They gave us snacks too.

Chatu was a great host. Kind, generous and accommodating. The surf house is a very peaceful and calm space. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Highly recommend this place!

My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful stay at 7bd and Aurika. There was quiet, beautiful, welcoming staff, delicious breakfast, great surf lessons, and I'd almost think it's more beautiful than the pictures 🫶🏼 When we go back to Sri Lanka one day, there's no doubt that we're going to revisit 7bd.

I had the most wonderful stay here for about 7 nights. The staff and property manager were simply incredible. Such kind and caring people. I felt extremely comfortable and safe here. The space is beautiful, better than I expected and the property is in perfect condition plus it was so quiet. The room was clean and spacious. I will be returning for sure!!

Beautiful brand new property with a lovely garden, walking distance from 2 beautiful beaches and a range of places to eat and drink. Would highly recommend if you are looking to keep clear of the crowds at Hiriketiya. Fantastic host with really helpful, quick communication.

Sonia is a friendly and fun host. The room looked exactly like the pictures and I could even see the sea, which was amazing. I will go there again next time. Can highly recommend the accommodation! :)

Had a lovely week there, the room was very large, the bathroom clean and especially the garden for chilling was very cozy. Great to feel good! Definitely recommend if you're traveling and looking for something cozy and clean, close to the beach. I will definitely be back!

The Family were the most dedicated hosts we have ever met. So kind and eager to make us feel at home. They welcomed us with fresh coconuts and always asked if we wanted coffee or just anything. They really deserve the best. Thank you so much!

Our stay at Mahalia's place was just great! We stayed here for four nights and felt right at home. The design and embedding of the complex in the surrounding nature is wonderful and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The location is fantastic for exploring probably the most idyllic beaches of Sri Lanka on foot and visiting some great restaurants. In addition, the yoga sessions included in the price in the morning offer a great opportunity to actively start the day and/or try something new. In addition, they also offer meditation courses that I highly recommend to everyone. The owners are very young and know what travelers value most. Thank you very much for the great and relaxing time with you! Keep it up!

Great Hospitality and Excellent Value, but Noisy Location We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb, thanks to Shan’s kindness and hospitality. He was an incredibly accommodating host, always ensuring we were comfortable. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with a pristine pool and a hardworking team that keeps everything spotless. Having three rooms at our disposal was a real luxury, especially at such an affordable price. However, light sleepers should be aware that the noise from the road and nearby train made it difficult to get a good night’s rest. There was also a minor issue with the water, but overall, the experience was positive. If you’re not too sensitive to noise, this place offers unbeatable value and warm hospitality in a well-kept setting.

The stuff where so nice ,communicative and flexible. They accept every request we had and made us feel very comfortable! Thank you very much for your time and afford! The place located in the centre of Ahangama. So thats very convenient but very noisy. The non air conditioner rooms are very hot even when the temperature outside drops so keep that in mind. Overall that place is really worth your money and its clean and comfortable and thank to lahiru 🙏

I loved my stay at the Yard! It’s located in the perfect spot, is a quiet oasis and the room and shared areas are lovely. Clean room, bathroom and friendly staff! They made my stay so comfortable thank you. The fact that you can also make coffee whenever you want is a treat!

We had an amazing stay at Sanath’s apartment, it was comfortable and clean and well located for Weligama beach (within walking distance), and Mirissa (short taxi or tuktuk away). Sanath is a very kind and lovely host and was always quick to respond to any questions. He was flexible when it came to check out and collecting our bags from the apartment. We loved the breakfast which was very kindly cooked for us! I would highly recommend this apartment! Thank you Sanath :)
