Overall very satisfied!The room bedding is clean and comfortable, the window view is very good, and the breakfast is also very special. The bagels are very delicious. Mr. and Mrs.😋 Hashimoto are kind and introduced the surrounding hot springs, food, and attractions in detail. If I come to Shirahama again, I will choose to stay here.But one thing to note is that the slope near the accommodation is steep, so if you choose this place, it is recommended to go backpacking, but because of the steep slope, the view is really good

"We pride ourselves on having a cafe renovated from an old Japanese house built 70 years ago, so we appreciate the new encounter and can have a good time." Japanese-style room with 8 tatami mats and 6 tatami mats (limited to 2 pairs). Great for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, and families with children. The nearest spot is the World Heritage listed Kumano Kodo, and the next town is Shirahama Beach and Shirahama Onsen with beautiful sandy beaches. Fanggahama Beach is a 3-minute walk. Please note that the kitchen is unavailable. Microwave is free to use. Dinner is not included, but there are places to eat and convenience stores within walking distance. No smoking indoors. No pets allowed.

This place is on the back side of Mt. Nachi and is not very close to Kumano Kodo. Due to many customers canceling, please check the location again before booking. Japanese houses are designed to suit Japan's climate (warm and humid). Therefore, it is cold in winter because it is not airtight. Please refrain from staying if you are looking for the comfort of hotel. Recommended for those who want to experience traditional Japanese rural life. Including dinner and breakfast.

It is a lodge in the mountain which refurbished the old building and has a stay production base for artists. The name of the lodge is "Kumoma". Our lodge is in Koguchi village, which is located in the mountains between Hongu and Nachi. It is popular with hikers on the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route. For breakfast, we serve simple things such as toast, drinks, fruits, etc. It is rare in the mountains,but you can buy some food because the small shop is in front of you.

This is an old private house that the children of the free school "Kumanobi" have been renovated with crowdfunding. Staying will help you with a free school. Please relax and unwind in a natural environment. It is a 10-minute drive from Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine, and you can pick up and drop off. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering. Meals are not available, but a set of homemade bread will be included for breakfast.

Beautiful traditional Japanese house which is well maintained. There are only 2 rooms so I only needed to share bathroom, toilet and pantry with one other tenant. Cake and coffee for breakfast is extremely thoughtful. It rained a lot when I was there. But it was nice to enjoy a cup coffee in such beautiful surroundings. Note that cafe is not opened on Monday and Tuesday. So it can get a bit quiet. However host is very responsive and helpful. She is always available to help even when cafe is not opened. She gave go instructions on where to find combini, laundromat, restaurants etc.

The facility was clean and they were considerate of privacy. I thought I wanted to hear this, and the host explained it to me before I asked, and I had a very comfortable time. The hot springs and dinner were especially great.

[Near the airport and adventure] [Play with dogs! Dogs welcome! [Meals included, BBQ available] Room in a quiet villa area

This is a small house in the half hillside of Shirahama, providing us with a separate washroom, washroom, bathroom, dining room, and a space for private use of the balcony.We had a cozy and beautiful night with this family, and the host also picked us up from jr station, who warmly took us to the sights of Shirahama.The very cute and polite baby gave us the flowers in the yard.The hostess prepared a hearty breakfast dinner for us, and a lot of small handmade with glazing.All in all, we hope to come back to Shirahama next time!
